1. Good story. Lack of acting skills.
2. Smexy guys. Cute at times but annoying lead chick.
3. Amazing sub-storyies. Annoying as hell, whinny-ass acting.
4. Non-interfearing parents (on both sides). Um did I say lack of acting skills alrdy?
5. Funny ass music w/ certain situations. I know I said something about lack of acting skills, right?
As u can see the biggest turn off for me was the lack of acting skills especially the lead actress (Yu Reen). I loved the Aaron Yan's acting in this. It kinda reminded me of Kim Hyun Joong in Playful Kiss at times. I thought that Cynthia Wang did an amazing job in her role. I personally thought she would have made a better lead except that she has a more mature look. I really did not like the guy who played opposite her, b/c he acted like a baby half the time.
Neways good story and the music at times was the best b/c it added an element of funny that u can't get anywhere else. I enjoyed it but prolly won't watch it againg b/c I don't think I could sit through the bad acting again. But it wasn't a total waste of time b/c it made me laugh.

There, I've said it! I hope that is warning enough.
In short: Love Buffet is a buffet of mess and disappointments. It is a typical idol drama from the dodgy storyline to the idols who cannot act.
Story: Ordinary with a capital "O". Maybe more suited for young teenage girls who likes to daydream about good looking boys as their possible bfs, eg: "Oh! Wouldn't it be nice if BOTH Calvin and Aaron falls for me??? And oh.. I can't choose between the both!" Similarly, in this drama, the female lead dons a "young-ish" character with a rather naive view on relationships to appeal to the young audiences. Mature women will probably find this drama annoying and filled with fluff.
Acting/Cast: Life size cardboard cut-outs of artists have better expressions than Calvin and Aaron in this drama. Their interpretation of the two lead characters were shockingly poor and lacking. PLEASE....just because they are idols, do not mean they HAVE to act. Some ppl are just not gifted that way.
Music: Possibly the only saving grace of the drama. I am no fan of the OSTs but Fahrenheit's "Wu Hui" (Misunderstanding) was worth its place in my iPod. The MV for "Wu Hui" was nice and I especially like how my fav Taiwan artist Jiro Wang looked in the MV... simply deeeelicious! This again proves that Calvin and Aaron should just stick to singing and MVs. Jiro should act more as he is definitely the more talented one out of the 4. I know Wu Chun has many fans but I personally thinks Wu Chun's acting left much to be desired as well. So, yeah, get the music, forgo the drama.
Rewatch value: Unless you are crazy over Calvin and/or Aaron and thinks they are the "sun, moon, sky..etc" and that you absolutely cannot live without seeing their faces, then by all means, re-watch this drama. Even so, I suggest that you re-watch KO One and X-family because I think their acting in that 2 drama was better than in the Love Buffet (not that it was better by much!). Otherwise, the 100th re-run of Disney's Beauty and the Beast have much better re-watch value than this drama!
Overall, I gave this drama 5/10 (in my most lenient opinion!).

the story is very simple, love triengle
A girl try to choose from 2 guys and she is checking her feelings ( unfortunatly out loud - most of the time we need to hear her thoughts
Because i can't put any details of it i can say you can skip to the end first before you watch so you don't have high expectation like i see others have
Music
The music is the worst, not invest at all, they realy like to play the synth , you ask yourself did they on a tight budget? so much tught like a kid playing in the computer with all the sound effect they like so much
Cast:
The only actor there is Che , he didn't get the credit he deserve
i don't think the others are bad but the problem is not with them
Uselly in Taiwan or china the actress acting like a retarded not reflect her age at all, its like they want teach women to act dumb so they can be "good" "pure" and "get the man" if you speak normal and acting like a real woman you get the "bad" role, like that is episode 3.
other people will think it her lack of acting but it's not. they want the lead actress to look average with her hair and speak look like 4 years old , it's not her fault!
But it make you want to stop watching if you are smart enough and know couple of things on women and life
Sum up:
Watch the Japanese version it's better( i'm still watching it)

Better than I expected especially after reading all the bad reviews and comments.
I dropped this drama after 1 episode because of all the bad reviews and comments I read on MDL and YouTube, and the fact that I thought Aaron was the ML but wasn't. But then I immediately picked it up again and actually enjoyed the drama knowing the ending. I LOVED the fact that Calvin was the ML. I did not like Ah Yi and even hated him sometimes, but Da Ye was so LOVEABLE and perfect.A lot of the bad reviews and comments for this drama are about how Xia Feng keeps going back and forth between the two guys, as if she's indecisive about who to be with, but it really wasn't like that. If anything, Ah Yi was the most indecisive character in this drama, which is why he was the SL. Xiao Feng liked Da Ye from the very beginning and spends SEVERAL episodes pursuing him, until he rejects her in the nicest way possible because he simply didn't understand romantic relationships and how to love someone in that way. I feel like Xiao Feng only starts to go out with Ah Yi only because he liked her, and she liked the idea of liking someone who reciprocated her feelings. She later grew to genuinely like him. But, Ah Yi only pursued Xiao Feng because she reminded him of his first love, which was unrequited. This is why I loved that Aaron was the second lead, Ah Yi didn't put Xiao Feng first over his unrequited love, and when he did, it was too late. When Da Ye first rejected Xiao Feng, it wasn't because he didn't like her, in fact I'm certain he had romantic feelings for her but just didn't know it. It was because he didn't want to lead her on in any way, the way Ah Yi did.
There were a LOT of things I didn't like about the FL as well as Reen Yu's acting. Her acting was WAY over the top, reminded me of the FL from Skip Beat!, but in this drama it felt really out of place considering the fact that all the other charecters were more down to earth with less exaggerated acting. It could partly be blamed on the Reen Yu's script, but I also think it was her acting in general. I loved Calvin and Aaron's acting. Despite Calvin's character being somewhat of a bubble head, unlike Reen Yu's character, who too was a bubble head, Da Ye didn't seem as stupid and unrealistic as Xiao Feng was. Xiao Feng seemed like a character that walked right out of an anime, like the FL from Skip Beat!.
Da Ye was a character that could do no wrong and I love that he broke the fourth wall multiple times.
Xiao Feng did start to get annoying towards the end of the drama, especially in the last few episodes, at this point I started skipping through the drama. Ah Yi wasn't that great either but Da Ye started to get a lot of character development in the sense that his character started to show a more serious side. Sometimes he'd go from a carefree and bubble headed person to a dead serious and sometimes out right mean person. But this didn't really go anywhere and wasn't really developed into. The ending was definitely rushed. Unnecessary rushed considering how slow the last few episodes were.

In many Taiwan dramas i feel there is plot holes and bad acting and unrealistic story lines. But not this one! This was so cute, and I could really relate to the girl. Some people i have talked to about this drama say the main girl was really indecisive and annoying, but i felt i could understand every decision she made. The only thing i wondered about at the end was the copycat girl(I forgot her name).
Also, read the manga Parfait Tic! It's pretty different from the drama, so you won't be wasting your time on either one! :D
