Sooo cute!!
I wish it was longer. it was the cutest. There was minor plot hole that didn't make sense but it was still cute. 10/10 will watch again.The actors' chemistry was amazing. I need them in more series. I liked that they did things a little differently than other BLs with the same premise. Definitely a comfort BL.

Une romance de bureau rafraîchissante
Contrairement à de nombreuses romances de bureau qui suivent le schéma "enemy to lovers" (ennemis à amoureux), ce drama centré sur les retrouvailles d'anciens amis est très rafraîchissant.Après plusieurs années de séparation lourdes de malentendus, les retrouvailles sont à la hauteur de mes espérances. Pas de mélodrame ni trop de méchanceté gratuite. Tout se passe de manière fluide et complètement compréhensible en vue des circonstances de leur passé.
J'ai beaucoup aimé regardé ce drama où bien que comme la majorité des BL coréens, les épisodes soient court, il n'y a pas de sentiment de précipitation dans l'évolution de la relation entre les personnages. C'est rafraîchissant, une bonne alchimie règne entre les deux acteurs, l'arrière plan de l'ambiance au travail, de leurs différentes tâches et de l'élaboration du jeu nous imprègne complètement de l'histoire et nous fait tomber amoureux.
Étant très exigeante en termes de films et de séries, je ne peux que recommander ce drama les yeux fermés !

Simple, cute and great acting
i just love a Korean bl drama where both actors feel comfortable and chill with each other, especially during kiss scenes etc.. This sadly happens to rarely but Our Dating Sim did everything right with choosing these actors. I loved their chemistry in the drama, the simple but cute storyline and especially the little scenes at every end of each episode that made me smile everything. This is a great quickwatch I can recommend to everyone here. But I also loved the side characters and the portraying of how difficult love sometimes can be. I cannot deny it...one of the best Korean BL dramas.I love how the 2 MLs are so natural in their interaction between them. The portrayal of the characters was also top notch. It was so enjoyable to watch the 2 of them being playful, emotional and lovey dovey.
The acting was amazing especially in Episode 7 where Shin Ki-Tae cried his heart out thinking that Lee Wan had disappeared again. It was so emotional that it makes you want to reach out and hug him tight.
As the story slowly unfold, we realized that Ki-Tae's feeling for Lee Wan was mutual and Lee Wan mistook his reaction as being negative. Throughout the seven years, Ki-Tae was desperately looking for Lee Wan. What a waste of seven years.
It was also interesting to note that the role changes after seven years whereby Shin Ki-Tae became the one who was deeply in love with Lee Wan. He was so adorable and it was fun watching him going after Lee Wan.
My only complaint is...it is too short! It would have been great if the series had at least 20 episodes of 30 minutes each. Sigh...wishful thinking!
So people...watch the drama and fall in love with Shin Ki-Tae and Lee Wan! And after that...wished for more...wink.

YALL THIS KBL IS ACTUALLY SO GOOD IM HOOKED,HONESTLY DROPPED IT AFTER 3 EPS DUE TO EXAMS BUT I WATCHED AFTERWARDS, AND I DO NOT REGRET A SINGLE THING!! A nice, short, no heavy drama, fluffy story.
It was enjoyable and well done. It defiantly needed more time for the story to flow naturally rather than randomly speed up to fit the time limit. Also, I'm unsure if it's just the copy I watched but there were random small scene cuts, maybe 10 seconds here and there that were missing.If you have about an 1.5hrs to watch something light-hearted that also provides an easy on the eyes experience than I suggest you go for it :)
I'm gonna have to try the movie version next time, though I'm pretty sure it's not different and everything is just edited together. Great rewatch value anyways so it works out none-the-less haha

CUTE BUT I NEED MORE
This drama is too endearing to take in. in particular shin ki tae. His facial expressions are all very cute. The narrative is quite nice. The acting is outstanding. But each episode has such a short amount of screen time. Because of this, I believe that the storyline component was very lacking. This drama made no lasting impression on me when I finished the series. I have no idea why viewing this series has left me feeling so depleted.Why is there not a single image of a bed throughout the entire series? Lan sleeps alone on the sofa even in the final episode when they are together. How is that even conceivable? Additionally, I didn't like Lan's attempts to conceal the Australian camp. He revealed the camp in Australia to the other three members in front of Ki Tae in the most recent episode. Ki Tae appears to have previously heard from Lan about that, based on his demeanor. However, the drama lacked a scene like that. However, I really liked Lan's character when he rejected Producer Ahn. He was sincere when he said that he might come to regret it. However, he is content with his choice as of right now. He rejects the idea of enduring love. He and Ki Tae might eventually part ways. But just now, he wants to take full advantage of the present.

Great watch!
This BL story is smart, funny, witty, and realistic. The chemistry between the leads is through the roof! I cannot say enough about this show. The leads act as if they have known each other their whole lives, as Lee Wan and Shin Gi Tae have, the natural interactions and responses make you believe them. The office squad is so extra, they are all just so amazing. I am so happy I tuned in.I loved the way Shin Gi Tae had no problem expressing himself, pretty much from the beginning. Also, I loved the way Lee Wan played "hard to get" with Shin Gi Tae.
This is a light and funny show, and it's very quick, 8 episodes at 15 min or so each. You do not feel like you missed anything though, it's not rushed, it feels finished. Polished.
It's a very good story, with a very good cast.

This Is Not A Simulation! This is Life!
Another example of an amazing Korean BL with too short of episodes! Our leads are amazing, such heartfelt loving moments, cute soundtrack and story. But with 15 minute episodes I wanted so so soooo much more! I hope we get a movie version of this at least like Viki has been doing that includes extended scenes, because I enjoyed this too much for it to just end here. Sweet former besties to romance story
I really enjoy the cozy look of the show from the color grading, cinematography, sets, and costume. The show utilizes the short run time well with the supporting cast being used in just the right amount to build the world, while most of it is rightly focused on the main leads. I like the recurring funny bit of artists finding their reason to draw being Ahn PD's enemy to his goal of filling the webtoon development abroad trip program. The characters are lovely and gentle hearted, particularly Ki Tae, who has good reason to be angry at Wan, but doesn't lash out, partly because he tries to shut it down on the inside like he had for the past seven years. I do like that show delved a bit into the mental trauma that resulted from Wan suddenly cutting off all contact. It's especially cruel after each cute high school flashback segment showing how close they actually already were before Wan confessed/kissed and ran assuming the feeling wasn't mutual when Ki Tae pulled back from shock. It would have been good if they had a conversation about Wan's offer to go abroad rather than Wan just deciding all by himself that he'll ditch that opportunity to tie up that part of the storyline more neatly. It also seems like a missing scene at the end when he suddenly announces the company counteroffered to make a webtoon of the game he's been working on instead. I like how Ki Tae was absolutely prepared to kiss Wan properly when he gets the chance to and how Wan and Ki Tae are mutually affectionate and genuinely enjoy each other's presence and time. The high school ending flashbacks at the end of every episode is a brilliant way of the show to give context of their past within their limited runtime and I love how they use it to show an alternate path if their high school selves were able to confess to each other sooner, they already had mutual feelings that whole time.Considerați utilă această recenzie?
Love-Game concept wins, simultaneously playful and delightful
It was one of those short yet enjoyable K-BLs who did a great job of establishing a savory story using appealing visuals and charming chemistry. The beginning isn’t as cliche in contrast to the norms of using high school memories as the roots of romance. Yet, the show began with the same kind of setup but exceptional since they directly told us the feeling that the main characters had just right at the start.Those seven years of losing each other are indeed painful. In Shin Ki Tae's shoes, I can feel how upsetting it is to lose Lee Wan without confirming their mutual feelings. Lee Wan also suffers and misses Ki Tae after running away. He slowly moves on not until the man shows himself again after all those years.
The reconnection after seeing each other again and being oblivious at work has gratifying progress in the story. Their acting was genuine along those kissing scenes that were truly sensational. The actor starts to release their characters’ excitement of being in love in terms of a smooch.
I would also like to cheer for the connectivity of the plot to the timespan of seven years. Ki Tae has anxiety that Wan may disappear again from his life without any trace left. It is a reasonable emotion since it is hard for someone you like to vanish eventually. The birthday present Wan prepares for Ki Tae was so damn cute. Drawing all those memories he failed to share with him during the separation is priceless.
Sticking to the whole game-and-love concept is the best asset of the show. Those special epilogues on each episode are just as beautiful as the overall impact of the drama. Incorporating gaming designs as their visual attacks are commendable.
Our Dating Sim is the kind of feel-good BL that tops the list of similar genres by showcasing a clean narrative of the script as well as presenting catchy visuals.
