IT WAS A SAFE ROMANCE
I like the fact that the series started with a very good hook; it gave you a very clear overview of what's going to happen and to whom. The first 3 - 4 episodes were great, very captivating, funny and pronounced, sadly all of which started to deteriorate after that, the story became predictable and incredibly dramatic.Kanghan made sense in all of his actions and intentions...up to the series' first half (or perhaps just a bit more than that), and then he became nonsensical. Also, i wished the series didn't force so much drama into itself, yet, it did. I was choking with unworldly conflicts and unworthy infighting. In short, they didn't exact a good plot after the first few episodes.
The thing that might be the saving grace for this series was the ost and the acting. About the actors, we had familiar and good faces to counted on, they surely delivered, only that Chimon's acting in couple scenes did not persuade me. The character of his relationship with Kanghan was playful, supportive and unconditionally loving, he showed me some of that but not the loving part, i didn't feel like he love Kanghan, more like a special friend...and that did not give me butterflies. Perth however, actually played all out, we felt love oozing out of him for Sailom, we felt his fear, his anger, his joy and that's powerful. For a BL series, we need all that to make it work, to make it persuasive and empatheticable. All the side couples weren't give enough ground to play their parts, yet they did their jobs and deserve praises for that. I would like to say that Euro played his role beautifully, he was actually so natural and convincing. I love his acting.
To conclude, this series did not pass as a great series, but it's a good series, at least give it a whirl to experience the plot and the love.

Another dumbed-down Thai drama. I agree with the other low ratings, so i'll try to only mention (in no particular order) the things that weren't already covered in other reviews.Ok, so this was mentioned in other reviews but i really loved that Sailom turned the tables on his bully...also loved that Grandma knows her grandchild and didn't allow Kang to lie about or downplay his horrible behavior.
Dad/Grandma. Didn't punish Kang for anything, ever. Unless i slept through those parts?
Name. Thought it was a good idea to pull a gun on the crime boss with his two goons not only in the room but also right behind Name. These guys are killers, but didn't kill Name...why? Suddenly the big bad baddie doesn't seem so dangerous. Or maybe he felt like Name was family, a son or little brother? Then show us that!
Boss. Wants to keep the noise down in the hospital (hence the attempt to smother the dad with the pillow) but then you go and fire a loud-ass gun. And miss. You accidentally shot the dad square in the chest in a dark house, but you can't do the same thing when you're actually aiming at a target standing right in front of you in a well-lit room?!
Kang. You got mad at your bf for something his brother did. They should have had him suspect that Sailom knew something and didn't warn them. Could be true or not. If Sailom said he didn't know, then we could've watched Kang struggle with wanting to trust Sailom while knowing how dedicated he is to his brother. Do we believe him or not? If Sailom said he did know, then maybe Sailom thought he'd talked his brother and/or Name out of doing anything criminal and didn't feel the need to warn the family. Kang would feel that he should've been informed and wonder if Sailom kept it from him so he and his brother could keep their jobs and pay his debts. Does Sailom want to be with Kang because he's rich? Now we'd get a real reason for Kang to ask Sailom that question. Kang asks that multiple times in the show but it never makes sense because Sailom has done nothing to make him wonder. But if Sailom had kept this criminal plan a secret, then Kang could realistically wonder. Either scenario would have been better, instead of Kang immediately turning his back on Sailom. I do like that Kang apologized to all his classmates at graduation for his bullying, but it would've been much more powerful and meaningful if he'd also apologized to each person individually.
Sailom. He should never have moved into Kang's home unless it was made clear that only the adults could fire him or ask him to leave. You can't place your employment and housing in the hands of a temperamental teen. And i was upset that he agreed so easily and just left his brother. Yes, his brother is an adult, but they are all each other has, so it just felt out of character for him to move away unless it was for college.

I am crushing on Kang, but in all honesty everything was average at best
My impressions:1) BANTER SCENES ARE HIGHLIGHT, THE ONLY HIGHLIGHT
Dangerous Romance execution had a slice of life drama appeal to it rather than some dangerous vibes like KinnPorche or Not me...which I personally like as well because there is always something raw and honest about the formet. Even the better performances such as those of Kang, Max and Nava felt average for a bl. Highlights are mostly from Kang and Sailom banter, then Nava and Guy banter. The plot was not believable, had little consistency (Pimfah lady, wtf you fell in love with whom? how did we get there please enlighten me!!!) and that graduation scene - I am still laughing at the speech. I feel slightly offended when I think that GMMTV made Eclipse and Only Friends and then have this as what? a drama for second tier citizens? But eh I will just forget about it and...
2) ....ALLOW THE FANGIRL TO OVERTAKE:
because the way Kang was written vibes with me 100%. Writers seemed to put all of their creative jumble into him. Aside the bully phase, he was a great man and a boyfriend imo. I low key think he is boyfie goals. He stood up at all the right times, manly and attractive but vulnerable and sweet when necessary. Open with his emotions towards Sailom. Quite sincere and childlike in his honesty. Direct and deliberate in what he wants. Attractive character overall. Also his metaphor about Sailom moving Kanghan (wind and windmill) was chef's kiss. Kang was indeed my only impetus to continue watching. He was just good at this role even though sometimes he slipped from the scene he was in. Immense potential.
3) THE PLOT WAS NOT MATCHED TO APPROPRIATELY TO THE CAST
Truth be told, to answer the question of one of the other reviewers -- it was not dangerous really, in fact, the opposite imo. It seems as if someone took the title of another drama and pasted it by accident. The plot seems more mature than the actors themselves. It had potential to be dangerous. It did not get there. 'Not me' had fairly young cast but still did well so idk. Do not hate me but I thought casting for Sailom was not appropriate. The actor did not feel matched to the character and his expressions could be numbered on fingers of one hand, like three at most. Chemistry was also, well not bad per say but not vibrant if you know what I mean. I could feel more chemistry from Nava and Guy, and I did not vibe with Guy's performance so that says it all. Kang and Nava ate and lead their scenes.
THE VERDICT:
Surprisingly I could see this being of a fair rewatch value for me, despite it having all of the ingredients that would predict otherwise. I really liked the build up episodes, loving and teasing banter, deliberate expressions of cuteness. If you do not watch this drama you will not miss much, really. If you watch it, you will have a nice time, some of your brain cells may die but scrolling through insta kills more. Here at least your eyes will be blessed by cute actors.
Thanks for reading.

Better than I thought it would turn out to be!
The plot was pretty much predictable and has the typical bully/badboy falls for the poor protagonist trope. But the difference is that the protagonist is not some weakling who takes whatever the bully throws at him, he is a men with dignity and self respect. That's what I love about the main character. Sailom is a strong character, not shy has his priorities straight. I felt sick of weakass MCs all the time in "morden romance" dramas so this is a breath of fresh air.I've seen so many ppl saying that the main leads had no chemistry but in my opinion chemistry isn't always needed. They both did good in acting, that's all that matters. They portrayed the romantic scenes very smoothly and of a domestic couple.
Anyway the second couple was very cute too, pretty cliche but I'd devour this type of cliche hate to love relationship tropes. I'm glad all the characters got there happy endings.
Overall, I'd say that a second season is not needed but do i want one? Yes, Yes I do. So we can see our Saifan (MCs brother) & Name get to meet again and our cute GL couple to grow romantically.

Nothing happens?
I watched this solely because I saw a reddit post where someone asked for the Drama with the least chemistry between main leads in Thai BL and like 60% of the answers mentioned this one.I don’t personally think the chemistry between the actors is the biggest issue. It’s the story that doesn’t really pick up anywhere. Honestly I don’t feel like anything happens, and even when something happened at some point I was not engaged enough to care.
I only finished this cause I was doing something else during so it didn’t really matter that nothing happened.
That’s probably why their relationship feels off, cause it never really gets built at all in the first place.
Side couples were ok, at least I was sort of engaged with them lol.
4.5 stars because Perth was precious and given the strange role/plot he did a good job. Personally not a fan of the other actor in this one, but honestly he didn’t get much of a chance to show his skill either…

Dangerous???
I watched this a while ago…but I am just wondering how was it a dangerous romance??! There was nothing actually dangerous about it and it was technically not forbidden or anything so i’m confused on that part. Other than that, it was decent. I like the ship but Chimon looked uncomfortable in certain parts of it. Idk if it was intentional or just how he actually felt when it was being filmed. The plot was ok, but it could’ve been more. I would like to see this ship in a better drama since this was their first one so it’s too soon to make any real criticism. For Perth, I think this role suited him so I would like to see him in more “bad boy” roles. The side couple was also cute especially since I like the enemies to lovers trope (at times).Hopefully the next PerthChimon series is better than this one. It was just lacking in some areas and didn’t get interesting until the middle/end. I did enjoy it at times but it just wasn’t living up to my expectations or to the hype.

Background story is great
I think it's something I would binge watch often whenever I am bored because it's an easy to watch series. The main leads did have chemistry. I don't know why everyone says they don't. I think it's the kiss scenes that were awkward but other than that it was great. They also highlighted b*llying in school and how things are handled if the offender is in power. I especially liked the way they showed how the teacher was wrong and turned a blind eye. It's quite typical in those aspects except the background of Kanghan. While in such serieses with a rich father the dad's usually very strict ir doesn't care about the child and sets high expectations from them. But this one is different. Here Kanghan acted the way he did was because his father never set any expectations from him and he felt neglected. That sounds like something everyone would want but as someone who has gone through the same I could relate alot. I think this is the best thing of the plot. Also I liked the intensity of the story. I think it's worth watching.Considerați utilă această recenzie?

Completely hooked the first few episodes
This show was SO good the first like 4-5 episodes. It seemed like it had a plan and then somewhere along the way they lost it lol I love these actors but I couldn’t tell if Chimon’s character was supposed to be that awkward or he was just actually that awkward. For someone who confessed his feelings first, you’d think he wouldn’t be so stand offish and make perth prove himself to his friends. Even after all that is done he’s still “get away from me, why you touching me even though I told you I like you” . Perth was good, able to switch from bully, to in denial to in love pretty well. But I was really confused when he started aggressively pursuing the girl (I forget her name) after him and chimon already had so many “moments”. It felt like it was vague whether or not perth wanted to be more than friends with her in the beginning of the show and then randomly in the middle of the show his world ended when he got friend zoned. I didn’t realize he wanted her that bad. I also did not at all find it believable that she liked chimon’s character so much that she was crouched down balling her eyes out because he rejected her. Like have they even exchanged more than a couple sentences? GMMTV shows usually are one different show the first half and then a completely different show the second half. I feel it was the same with never let me go but it was executed a bit better maybe because pond Phuwin’s chemistry is there. Perth is really good but idk if chimon is really feeling the bl industry. He was honestly better in his smaller role being phuwin’s love interest for a minute in never let me go. That was more believable to me.Considerați utilă această recenzie?
Good Series
Their acting is top notch. They really get you emersed in the story. Its one of my favourite thai series of all time, and one of a only a few series that really get you feeling strong emotions. also the plot is SO GOOD. The producers and writers did a Fantastic job! I lost so much sleep while waiting for the next episode to come out, lol. Kudos to them.Considerați utilă această recenzie?

Heart in the Wind
Regardless of any enjoyment I got out of watching the show, I had to have a friend tell me when Kang stopped being such an absolute douche and then skip to that point, because I couldn't stand him in the beginning, so it immediately loses points there. Some people are upset the romance itself wasn't 'dangerous.' But I will remind you that the native title is "Heart in the Wind." The English title played you. Don't blame the show's plot for that.

Likes:
- Perth acts his butt off here, and I really enjoyed him. Scenes where Kang got upset, where he got teary eyed or straight up cried, were always lovely. Kang's story is of a boy who desperately wants *someone* to believe in him, someone to want him for more than his money, someone to tell him he's capable of more. And that's tragic and sweet. (I still absolutely abhor him in eps 1-2)
- I thought Chimon did rather well too, except for crying scenes. I've heard people have issues with his kissing scenes, but the only one I thought was too tense was the first one, and it was tense for a Reason, so? Yeah, his kissing didn't bother me overmuch.
- I liked that we had a legitimate Love Triangle for all of 20 minutes, until two sides realized they're actually bi and moved to other pursuits. (It is still weird to date your ex-teacher, even if you're lesbians, though. I can't...I can't quite get over that.)
- Saifah and Sailom's relationship.
- Max and Auto becoming Best Friends Forever. I loved every minute of it. (and if they end up dating, I'm okay with that too.)
- The development of Guy and Nava's relationship. (Tho RIP them after that bar scene. They would both be dead, or at least in the hospital.)
- The study montages. I loved them.
- Kang taking care of a sick Sailom and finishing the assignment for him. Kang with little kids was amazing (I saw him with the kids in Korat and said 'one day, he's going to teach little kids soccer' and then WHAT DOES HE DO in the final episode? <3)
I find it hilarious that I trusted Papang implicitly when he walked on camera in Not Me, dressed like a mechanic and actively plotting crime and anti-government movements, but Papang as a nursing assistant, dressed in soft colors and smiling a lot? Hm, something feels fishy here. XD
-
Issues:
- the show REALLY likes its flashbacks. There are so many sad or romantic montages of previous scenes. Every episode has at least one.
- they tried to make things So Dramatic, cutting to every single person before something happened, sometimes twice, that I was clicked ahead 5 seconds at a time just going 'Okay, I GET IT already, geez.'
- I've seen promises that go belly up before, but Kang doing a 180 less than 60 seconds after making that promise? That wins some kind of Shitty Behavior award, right? And then he's continuously shitty to Sailom for a full episode, multiple days their time, until suddenly he says 'I've always been here' like he never left Sailom's side because he was following him around on his motorcycle? Bro. Bro, what are you *talking about*? You kicked him out of your house. You yelled at him and told him you would never help him again. You responded to his goodbye thanks by basically telling him he didn't belong anymore. That is the shittiest 'I never left you' I have ever seen, dude.
- Guy struggles learning to walk again. Then Nava punches him and calls him on being sad, they cry about it, and literally like 24 hours later, Guy is sans-crutches or brace and is walking just fine?
- Someone doesn't understand how roofies work.
It's not really an issue, but hot damn, someone got majorly hurt in every single soccer match. Sports have never been so dangerous.
