Half of Us (2023)

This is a short movie by the same director as my journey to you. This has the same dark and gripping tone .

Has the tension, the balancing act with tragedy, but I feel Bloody Romance is watched more for a good cry while My Journey to You is watched for the tension and aesthetics. Both top of the class with great acting in my book.

If you are fan of spy × target troupe then this one's a good choice to bag!
- A lots of scheming, dark and intriguing plot.
- beautiful cinematography
- lots of turns and twists
- apparently enhances the skill of self certified detective in each viewer who watched this!
- great unfoldings and unveiling secrets.
- beautifully executed martial arts
Do you actually need any other reason to get this into your recommendation list. Umm maybe the fact that the complete execution of the drama was so good, that it earned lots of viewers without any promotions could get it some brownie points.
But I would surely suggest it a must watch, cause it surely can be categorised as one of the best dramas of 2023!

Both of them have same director, and some of the cast involved are same.
If you are a fan of mystery element, this ismomething you are gonna fall in love with!!
So tighten up seatbelts and get ready to enjoy this, you will regret not watching this!

The fact that both of them are probably one of the best costume drama of 2023!
The costume and cinematography of MJTY is just fabulous! It has lots, like a lots of martial arts. The plot of both drama are dark and intriguing!
Most importantly spy × target troupe! That is a must for, like so many romance lovers!
If you are fan of black bellied characters, mystery, scheming and witty character, this one's a must watch! None of the characters are witty and dumb, in fact every single character is so scheming! And that whole thing is so satisfying!
Coming to similarities,

- both have great plots ( dark, mysterious, scheming and intriguing)
- slow burn romance
- unveiling twists and turns
- your hormones gonna be at their peak due to anticipation for next episode!

My Journey to You has more romance than The Untamed. But I kinda get similar vibes from the story. Both dramas are full of scheme and plot twist. I think if you like The Untamed, you might enjoy My Journey to You too or vice versa.

If you are looking for another compelling wuxia, then Side Story Volant has even better fight scenes (which I typically fast forward when it seems the fight is stuck in to the story just to have a fight--but not here). The cinematography is not as dark and mysterious, but the story pulls you in,

It is a costume detective suspense romance drama, set in the Wanli years of the Ming Dynasty, telling the story of the beautiful man County Ling Panyue and the terrorist servant Yang Caiwei in the process of solving a strange case, from mutual disgust to mutual love and love. (Ju Jing Yi and Liu Xue Yi).

The story of both dramas relates to an assassin organization.

Both FLs are spies/assassins
Both MLs have a mysterious birth background and people do not take them seriously.

These two dramas have a lot in common in terms of fights, suspense, and different sects. For AOS there is the mages who have different powers/ skills and for MJTY there is the Gong residence which has different families with different abilities. there is also some light humor in both dramas that eases the tension.

Both dramas have a dark, mysterious vibe, and both FLs are assassins. Many of the characters are hiding secrets.

TOO many similarities where both FL and are assassin and got a task to kill the ML and to get close to the ML, the FL pretends to be a bride and gets married to the ML. BDWY is short drama and MJTY is long drama

There is clearly a similar cinematography. A dark Vibe, generics with the same energies. I really like the black costumes that are also in both dramas. I think that lovers of "journey to you" like me, will be conquered by "hard to Find"
