A Journey to Love (2023)

Both dramas revolve around main characters who embark on a perilous journey with a common goal: securing the throne. sword snow stride has the same type of political struggles as well as type of story as a journey to love. The romance may not be strong in sword snow stride, but the story is similarly good and the plot is very much similarly paced. The actions are better in a journey to love but the acting as well as the pace is better in sword snow stride. Sword snow stride is a good storyline based drama with great acting.

If you like storyline, friendship, Journey, with a little comedy and romance on the side i would recommend The blood of youth. The similarity with A Journey to love:
-The friendship and brotherhood are hot, funny, melts your heart and definitely worth the attention as in A journey to love
-The Story involves a journey of entourage full of young men and funny build of friendship as well as fighting scenes
-Has great plotline, sets, and pacing
-The costumes are gorgeous
-Has comedy and romance on the side but not much
-Great sets and cinematography
-storywise very entertaining, struggles in politics and similarly build

- A Journey to Love shared the same universe with A Journey to Glow.
- Both dramas also have the same scriptwriter and production company.
- A Journey to Glow is part of Linmon Pictures' A Journey series alongside A Journey to Love.

- fighting is not everything, good strategies and schemes matter
- lots of interesting and likable characters besides the main leads

LST has:
- setting more focused on Jianghu/different sects, but also including connections to the royal curt
AJtL has:
-more comedic moments
-setting closer to royal curt (instead of different sects its military/organizations serving their respective kings)

Cecilia Liu plays a heroic Ming female doctor in this and it's based on a real historical character. The acting is good and it's a reverse harem drama

The female lead constantly wants to flirt with the male lead, tough, combative male characters, period drama.

The series has many different aspects. However, it also has many similar scenes.

The original hit drama that catapulted Liu Shishi to fame and was a hit throughout Asia. Reverse harem and solid acting by everyone

- In both shows, the dominant female leads elects the male lead to be her child's father.
They just firmly say "give me a child" and that's it, while the male leads disagree at first because they believe love should be involved to constitute a family.
- Female leads are in an urge to marry/have a child due to someone else advice whom already passed away.

Strong ML and and the FL also fakes her death, repeatedly, to return.
Complicated political struggle, and wuxia, many good battles.
Use of poisons to "control" a character.
Romance.

Cecilia Liu plays a flirty and brave free spirited character in this too. She's a wolf girl or an orphan raised by wolves.

AJTL has group of military brothers on a mission. They deal with a lot of dangerous situations, political intrigue and there is enough romantic plots to fill you up. This is slightly different as the brothers are not always together, but you see how they are guided by the common goal. Romantic stuff is in EB too, but I am on ep 19 so will have to see the end.
Liu Yu Ning plays in both, and the masculine is nicely balanced with the female subplots. 3 brothers, 3 women...
