I'm a fan of Zhao Lusi and this is one of my fave roles of hers, perhaps only second behind Dating in the Kitchen (with Galaxy and Rule the World close contenders, aswell). I really have no notes, this was close to perfection. It was perfectly cast, perfectly acted, perfectly produced. The romantic chemistry between the lead couple was perfectly sweet and the platonic chemistry between all the other characters was perfectly compatible. Overall, PERFECT! Both the FL and ML are green flags
Its impossible not to love these two seemingly adorable characters. There is no finding fault. The writes did such a beautiful job and this is one gem worth rewatching. It is like a salve for your heart, especially if you have been traumatized by crappy endings.The cast was also a treat to watch, all the actors were so visually stunning. The FL's entire family was full of green flags, her brother and her parents. They were so understanding of her and also cherished their daughter so much. A treat for people who understand how precious gentle parenting can be.

Es que de verdad esta serie se volvió mi safe place. Tuvo todo lo que amo y más. Todos tienen que verla porque la van a amar. Mil veces la vería y mil veces la amaría!!! Lusi y Zheyuan son unos actores excepcionales y tan realistas. La historia estuvo llena de todo lo que amo y me tenía chillando cada 3 segundos. Definitivamente un MUST WATCH de todo drama lover así que si aún no la ven no sé lo que esperan para verla.OST - Forever Star ✨?

So impactful, easy to fall in love with it.
This drama could've been terrible. It could've been uncomfortable and tasteless. But it wasn't. It was endearing, emotional, intense, and heartfelt. There was a very thin line around the appropriateness of it, but what they accomplished with the writing , acting, and overall storytelling is a beautiful example of an innocent crush blooming into first love. I loved the way they handled such a delicate topic. At no point did it ever feel inappropriate or cringey. It just felt real. The ML's acting was phenomenal. I truly felt he loved the FL. It was so convincing, I couldn't have even imagined who else the MCs could've ended up with. It felt destined and they did a great job portraying that. This drama takes a special place in my heart. Definately worth re-watching! I've read the story too and it's sooo cute... I can say that I cried, laughed and had so many dreams brought to light again that I'll take this story with me for life. It was like feeling home. It's hard to find something so pure. I had no trouble in staying up all night to watch it. It's so sweeet! It's definitely my favourite of all times! Hidden Love Uncovered My Heart!
If "Hidden Love" were a dessert, it would be a triple-layered chocolate cake with a surprise caramel center—utterly delightful and irresistibly sweet!From the moment the opening theme song started, I knew I was in for a treat. This drama serves up romance with a side of humor and a sprinkle of heartwarming moments. The chemistry between the leads is so palpable, you'd think they invented chemistry just for them!
Zhao Lusi's interpretation of Sang Zi is on point. She's the perfect mix of adorable and fierce, like a kitten with a really good punchline. Superb acting talent that invariably draws the viewers emotions. Chen Zhe Yuan's portrayal of Duan Jia Xu is dynamic. With his smoldering looks and secret soft side, had me swooning by episode two.
The plot is like designed by Cupid himself. Just when you think you have it all figured out, bam! Another revelation that makes you fall in love with the characters even more.
The supporting cast is equally fantastic. Every friend, family member, and even the occasional frenemy adds layers to this already rich story. Special shoutout to Victor Ma as Sang Yan, the hilarious brother/best friend— where can I find one of those in real life?
But what really sealed the deal for me was the ending. No spoilers, but let's just say I hugged my pillow and happy-cried like it was the finale of my favorite reality show.
"Hidden Love" is the perfect binge-watch. It’s got laughs, it’s got tears, it’s got romance that’ll make you believe in fairy tales again. It reminded me of my first crush, first love, and the special journey of being in love. So grab your popcorn, tissues, and maybe a pillow to hug—you’re going to need it!

O amor
Eu nem consigo pensar em nada pra escrever. O final eu gritei TANTO, eu chorei. Eu tô tão triste por ter que me despedir deles, o tempo que passei assistindo foi tão gostoso, eu amei tanto! Foi divertido, foi tranquilo, foi bom. Foi tudo que eu gosto, queria e precisava.O romance deles, com tanto carinho, com tanto amor ali envolvido foi a melhor coisa do mundo de ver crescer, eu amo tanto eles.
Tem alguns pontos que se tivesse acontecido de uma forma melhor eu teria amado mais ainda se é que é possível:
O primeiro é o irmão dela (te amo Yan!) Que poderia ter sido mais explorado, gostei do final dele ajudando e dando apoio ali ao duan quando ele foi falar com os pais, mas queria ver a história dele
O segundo é as amigas dela que poderiam ter sido um pouco mais exploradas, principalmente a amiga que gostava do jogador de basquete, eles teriam feito um ótimo casal secundário na história e realmente achei que fosse acontecer ?
E terceiro é só o fato de quando eles dirigiam o carro aparecia aquela montagem horrorosa, mas pelo o que vi o drama não tinha muito orçamento, na verdade não sei se é verdade isso, mas se for tá explicado.
(E talvez o fato de terem usado uma atriz que parecia ter menos de 14 anos no começo do drama)
Enfim, foi maravilhoso, estupendo, fantástico. Vou sentir saudades.

Warm love story with no stupid plots
Wow! It had been such a long time ever since I felt like this for a drama. It's so good! I finished watching the last ep with a smile on my face. I truly believe this one is an example that a good drama doesn't need a break up at final episodes to shake things up. If a good story is being told, with the right amount of drama and a good pace then it will catch the viewer's attention. And I just love stories where the couple trust each other and would never leave just because smth/smone said/did something. All of my fav dramas are this way.I was eyeing this drama eversince I saw the pics of the lead actors and they looked so good together. And that was just by the photos. In the end, they didn't let me down. They're so so cute together and have amazing chemistry. I simply loved the way Jiaxu looked at Sang zhi. At the same time their story wasn't neither rushed nor slow. It all went in the right pace. Nothing feels exagerated or too melodramatic. Which I like. They have good communication. There's no stupid misunderstandings and break ups in the last eps. Although they have little to no experience when it comes to love, they are really mature. So no stupid plots here.
I confess I did got worried with all of that she's young/he's older thing. And it was a little weird that they know each other ever since she was just a kid. But the drama was able to grow from that in a healthy and not creepy way.
I love her brother and their bickering. They're so funny together and I laughed a lot with them. On the other hand, I lost total respect for Sang zhi's parents when they expressed their "concerns" for Jiaxu and Sang zhi's relationship. I mean, I know asians are conservative but so what if he has a bedridden father?! What's the problem with having a sick relative? Is it a crime? As for that girl harassing him, he can't control everything. I just don't think those were good reasons for them to go against their relationship. Fortunately, like I said, nothing is turned into a melodrama, so all of this doesn't really represent an obstacle to their love.
The OSTs are simply the best. So light and warm. They really had the vibes of the drama and I loved it.
In summary, it was one of the best, if not THE best drama of 2023. I had the best time watching it so I totally recomend. 10/10 no doubt.

WORTH TO WATCHING DRAMA!!!
This drama is very popular, I saw a lot of clips everywhere almost everyday. At first I wasn't interested in romantic teenager dramas but I tried to watch a few episodes and BOOM!! I REALLY liked this drama, I watched it marathon in 3 days!!^o^I watched a lot of cdramas and several times saw Zhao Lusi's drama (Sang Zhi), she played her character very well as usual and made me fall in love with her cuteness:3
Chen Zheyuan (Duan Jia Xu) I've known him for a long time but this is my first time watching his drama! His acting is really really good and his eyes is very beautiful, I will watch his other dramas!
The chemistry between the Female and Male Lead, Duan Jia Xu with Sang Yan (Bestfriend), Sang Zhi with Sang Yan (Brother-Sister), Sang Zhi with her Mother and Father, and all of them are the best! Sang Zhi's harmonious family makes me really jealous, one of the cdramas that I will rewatch over and over again when I'm tired because the story is very light and booster my mood!!!

Makes your heart fluff
I love how this Cdrama is all sunshine with a bit of rain on the sides. If you’re tired of a typical romcom with a load of stress and conflicts, this one is a breather. It’s refreshing to watch, the cheesy romance is seraphic. Although Mr. Green flag and Ms. Bubbly with an age gap are too good to be true, this drama takes a turn away from tropy cold male lead with a trauma and an overthinker clumsy girl. The sweet conversations and the relationships of characters among friends, workmates, and family members are all relatable and were portrayed very well. Plus, the chemistry between the main leads is over the top! They just look good together, you don’t even have to read the captions lol and the close up shots really worked its magic!The development of both the plot and the main characters is a slow-burn but magnetic enough to keep the viewers invested on every episode.

a love that is gentle, light, and warm
the plot itself has been very risky for the viewers but i loved how it was executed well. the phasing is great, you can see how their relationship evolved thru time. every kind of relationship portrayed in this series was very healthy. from parents, siblings, friends, partner. duan jiaxu & sang zhi are the standard, definitely my ideal type for a partner. djx had a hard time in life but he never projected his anger nor had a negative trauma response on zhi. i love this show. highly recommended. someday, i hope i will experience a kind of love like them.Considerați utilă această recenzie?
