Overrated drama with toxic characters
Gave in after people were hyping up this drama so much and had to drop it after 3 episodes because I got anger issues from the main male lead. The romanticizing of a failed marriage where the man is actually happy that his partner is dying and pretending to be a good husband for his peace of mind is crazy. The whole plot of oh they are falling in love again after the male lead suddenly learns to appreciate his wife again once she is actually dying and weak absolutely irks me and frankly I am not even surprised this kind of plot was popular in Korea. If anyone can convince me otherwise that I might be wrong and that I should give it another try, feel free to try.Considerați utilă această recenzie?
Best K-drama ever!
This drama is different I tell you!The actors surprised me with their outstanding acting that caused me to cry almost every episode. I’ve never watched a drama like this before it took me by surprise, I was drawn into it that I became obsessed and wanted more every weekend. I watched it ongoing and it drove me waiting for the weekend for the other episodes which caused me to rewatch from the start. It’s been a month since the series is over and I’m not able to watch any k drama because this drama set my standard for k drama so high!Chief kiss it deserve all the praises!

Queen of Tears
Awesome acting by the leads that will make you the Queen of Tears instead. The character growth by each individual chararcter are all awesome and they all go through their own growth and changes. Not a character nor arc this wasted in this densely packed show with lots of story arcs. It is quite incredible how much they managed to pack into a short 16 episodes.Many plot points and story arcs throughout as well and what started out initially as a divorce show became one of power struggle, illness and lost.

Amazing!
I adored every moment of the show! There wasn't a single dull episode. It was filled with laughter, tears, and a plethora of other emotions I hadn't even experienced before. Kim Ji Won was absolutely perfect for her role! She truly shone, as did the entire cast, cameos, and the delightful Easter egg scenes. They were a real treat for true K-drama enthusiasts.I can usually predict what will happened, I couldn't predict anything in the beginning of this show. The numerous plot twists kept me on the edge of my seat, craving more with each episode. The only downside was having to wait for new episodes weekly.

Truly evoked all emotions for viewers
Let me start by saying that although I can understand the frustration some viewers had with the storyline, I’d like to remind everyone that this is a DRAMA, not a documentary so it will be somewhat unrealistic. It’s also a genre that has been highly saturated, so if you’re coming in thinking you’re going to get a super original plot, I think you chose the wrong genre.With that being said, I think if you’re a romance sucker, this drama is a must see. Starting off with the casting: 10/10, the actors complimented their characters so well and the visuals were of course top notch. I think this role played by KJW definitely peaked her acting and really tested the versatility in the constant switch of emotions and personalities she can play for one character. All of the cast did a spectacular job portraying their characters.
There wasn’t one episode in the drama that didn’t make me laugh, cry, or scream with frustration. There were definitely some moments that felt like “too much” but I wasn’t turned off by any of it either given that it did add to the thrill of the episode. I found myself grasping for more and more every week. I had MANY LINGERING questions by the end of ep 14, mainly surrounding how the ML could hate his wife almost as suddenly as he fell in love with her and they were completely answered by the end of the drama. This alone gives a high recommendation from me because you don’t always get that closure in romcoms and things just seem to happen as is and viewers are left to accept it.
Overall, highly recommend this drama if you love romance, and also want to feel a wide range of emotions each episode.

many cliché including plot twists.. but still emotional
the trailer was truly promising, first episode was just... wow!! it was funny, emotional, intriguing.. main lead actors are superb.every episode made me emotional and to await for a week for the next 2 episodes was a pain in the ***
OST is superb, some songs are stuck in my head (even tho i don't understand korean bc i'm italian) but still mumbling and singing them non stop..
Plot twists were predictable and the villain.. well.. that wasn't surprising
This drama let me down during the final trial.. i mean, i wished to see more of that and how they discovered things to bring the villain down. i feel like the speeded up the thing and that let me down a bit.
i wished for more lovey dovey scenes during the last 2 episodes and maybe they could manage some things better.
Even tho i think i will rewatch the whole thing more than once bc it made my heart ache, my eyes wet..
the chemistry between the two Kim was incredible and i love them. i will truly miss this show.. and the potential it had
hope the 2 extra episodes will be great (cast interviews and reactions to the show if i'm not wrong)

A FLAWED MASTERPIECE
Hmm.. it's such a strange drama. A weird drama. WHY?Well, I always thought that with bad writing, the story will be very difficult to follow. But I was wrong. Very very wrong.
The last 3 episodes had one of the most MEDIOCRE writing I've ever witnessed in my days of watching kdramas ever.
However, the PERFORMANCE of the cast and STORY was just too good to make this drama a BAD one. So much so...that I'm EMBARASSED to say that it's a good drama that was WORTH the time to watch.
This drama reminded me of the past Kdramas that used to air back in the day. Dramas where the rich 'chaebol' ML falls in love with a 'cinderella' kinda FL and then loses his memory and so on. What they did here was just a gender swap but the execution of it was so good.
MAYBE we need to bring in the VINTAGE stuff back. However, with proper execution and BETTER writing (Emphasis on this tho).
A solid 9.0 from me. A hugely FLAWED drama but still a MASTERPIECE

Queen of Tears' Concludes with a Heartwarming Finale
Queen of Tears" had me glued to the screen from start to finish. Kim Soo Hyun(Baek Hyun Woo) andKim Ji Won(Hong Hae In) brought their characters to life in such a touching way, even Park Sung Hoon
(Yoon Eun Seong) played the role pretty nicely The ending couldn't have been better. Huge thanks to everyone involved for this wonderful ride!

HAPPY AND BEST ENDING SO UNDERRATED
it’s soo good I love it . Now it’s finished and you don’t have to wait weeks to watch other episodes but it’s never boring.The episodes are a little bit longer but it’s definitely okay.It’s a mix between romantic,comedy,family, business,criminal and a little bit sad sometimes.The actors are acting so good and you will become a real queen of tears:)You can get a little upset because one character but the Ending is soo cute and HAPPY.You have to watch it (and when you don’t have Netflix watch it on Kisskh free)Considerați utilă această recenzie?
Best kdrama for 2024
Best drama so far.... I can't remember watching a drama that I have so much love and fondness for except this.The casting was perfect! Who would have thought that the 2 leads would have such sizzling chemistry???! They truly embraced their characters to the point that you cannot imagine any other person for these roles.
I liked how each actor got their share of the limelight with the roles they portrayed. So much so that I started following them on IG as well. The story, while not that original but well told in a way that you will not get bored. The OST is aslo hands off amazing. The melodies AAARRRGGHH..... they bring you back to the scenes and emotions.
QOT will be up there in the number 1 position of my favorite kdramas of all times. Hard to beat them really.
Can't wait for the time they will be paired again. Hopefully a rom-com

it is the queen of tears
The title promis tears, and I cried alot doing this show. but also yelling, laughing and hoping.from the start it showed it could go diffrent ways. and we knew there may be a plottwist.
but I enjoyed this show to the fullest, I felt very entertained and couldn't wait for next week episodes.
and the show made me cry till the end, so absolutely queen of tears.
some may say its seen before and etc, but this gives a new filler story to it with a new set of eyes and diffrent location and etc

Wow, been a long time since i watch a drama that I didn't want it to end
Yes, there is alot of cliches from 20 years ago, but it also have 2 main actor & actress with chemistries we have not seen in a long time. This couple will make you laugh, cry (alot) and emotionally stress out. Their family is frustrating but very funny.
