Both are Chinese movies on island setting. Tough environment. One is a group of people accidentally strangled on an isolated island, the other one is the main lead volunteer to be the island keeper
Just because both movies are about surviving on an isolated island. Although one is true story the other is more a comedy, Both have thought us some surviver skill.
