Dystopia vibe and unique main male character. Just the feel is the same. Maybe to little female charakters but when thay are they're awsome <3

Both are action packed stories with focus on friendship instead of romance.
Weak hero is more focused on relationships and emotions, while maintaining great story telling and action bits while Black Knight focuses more on the main story and the main conflict. Black Knight doesn't develop the characters as much but there's still sense of comraderie and the general feeling of vindication is the same

Black Knight also takes in the future, where people have to struggle for survival. The future timeline in Black Knight is also destroyed (like in Pending Train).

Totally unrelated, but, might as well watch this awesome show rather than this forgettable dystopian mess.

Taking place in both the present year 2017 and in the year 2037, when people believe that their future depends on humans controlling and regulating their emotions, this drama is a sci-fi mystery. When alien visitors arrive on Earth, humans learn new skills from them and take advantage of them; what ensues is a story of alliance, resistance, and love. Each episode will contain two shorter stories, the first part set in 2017 and called “Beta Project,” with the second set in 2037 and called “Grand New World.”

These two dramas give similar futuristic vibe. The world we know doesn't exist anymore. In BK people lack fresh air and in TSS there is a problem with lack of water. There is a group of daredevils who try to help people to return to normal existance.

Jung Sae Byeok, a detective, is dispatched to arrest the murderer. This is a thriller that pursues the mysterious truth behind what saved humanity from an apocalypse

Both projects have Kim Woo Bin as the lead and both have action.
Both projects were the comeback for Kim Woo Bin after a long hiatus. OBB is his movie comeback and Black Knight was his drama comeback.

Amazing and strong male lead character. Great storyline as well. It also has a humorous side, kind of a hidden identity and a revenge side to it. It is an amazing tv show and I think the vibe is ver similar to it.
