Salak Jit (1988)

A forbidden romance between an uncle (not related by blood) and niece. It starts off with Salak Jit at the age of 14 to her early twenties. She was sent to live with her grandfather since her father just passed away. Her grandfather was angry at her father so he was cold towards Salak Jit and everyone in the family was mean to her except for Pong. Salak Jit soon formed a bond with a man named Chai Diew and he was considered her uncle. Soon Chai Diew had to go work in another country and left Salak Jit, who was quite lonely and her whole family was mean to her and her jealous cousins were also bullies. So then years pass, Chai Diew comes back, Salak Jit has matured, romance starts, problems are created when Salak Jit has to get engaged... so who will she choose between her dear uncle or a man she doesn't love?
