This is How Rom-Coms Should Be

I don't generally write reviews, but I will start with this one really.

This one will increase the standard of rom-coms! The plot is really basic, rich ML boss and employee FL couple. The difference in this show executes it excellently. They don't need silly premises such as "ML and FL are childhood friends" or "FL is being chased by a serial killer". Instead, they use a very basic and straighforward plot, yet unique and entertaining. Since the beginning, I think they have chosen to have more comedy rather than romance, and they maintain the comedy really well thoughout the episodes. I like that all the romance scenes are not cringe and totally enjoyable. Silly act? They were all silly since the beginning so that's not a problem! The OST is really great. The way they put it as Melomance concert is a great idea (and I really like the Se-Jeong version).

However, I feel that the Yoo-Ra's internet hate comments premise is uneccessary. It makes the last 3 episodes feels bland and lose the grip somehow. I personally think that there should be several stories to be explored rather than having an ending like that. I really want Ha-Ri to have a proper closure with Grandpa. I personally think it is better if they add 2 more episodes. After all, most K-Drama have the same problem about not-so-good quality ending.

Oh, I wonder what is the ending of Be Strong, Shin Geum Hui.

On top of all, I will definitely still recommend this. Very light story and easy to enjoy. So far still my best rom-com series (I don't watch a lot of rom-coms though).

It is amazing give it a chance

The show overall is honestly so amazing he side couple is soo cuteee guys I urge you too watch it. to be honest the side couple really got my attention. the main couple is also hella cute the MFC is so god damn funny it's crazy. what are you doing go watch it

Second time was not quite the charm.

I’m reviewing this after re-watching this drama—I’ve watched it a total of two times now. I should have left well enough alone but it was dubbed and its nice to have a K-Drama that you can watch while doing other things.

Using my personal rating system of "loved," "liked," "meh," & "nah," this was a “liked” the first time I watched it, a “meh” the second time I watched it.


What I liked:
I liked the fact that this drama did not appear to take itself too seriously. There was a good use of situational comedy, sound effects, visuals, etc. I loved the dinosaur metaphor for the male lead, especially when he’d call, or text and the image would pop up on her phone. I also loved that they had an ‘actual’ kdrama going in the background and made fun of it throughout the show, especially the silly things like two people falling on each other and accidently kissing. I liked the second couple. They were cute (even though they went through some immature moments, they resolved them quickly and had a much more communicative relationship that FL/ML, see below). There was believable chemistry between the FL/ML, too. I also liked that the drama itself was short and did not appear to have much in the way of fluff. I appreciated the fact that I did not get SMLS in this drama (the SML did not realize he wanted her until someone else took her attention away from him...you snooze, you lose, buddy).

What I did not like so much:
The fact that the FL appeared incapable of telling the truth…ever. She went to all these unnecessary lengths to hide everything from everyone all the time. Her attempts to hide her identity as an employee were ridiculous since she never tried to really alter her appearance. Then when they finally did get together, she kept trying to hide the relationship even though ML was comfortable being open. She even lied to ML with no justification—for example, when his grandfather called her, she outright lied to the ML about who it was. After a while, she was so neurotic I just could not see why the ML even liked her—their whole relationships was built upon falsehoods and she continued the trend, even after it was unnecessary. I don’t remember noticing this as much the first time I watched it, but it really bothered me the second time.

So…should you watch this? I rather enjoyed it the first time, but I would not recommend for a re-watch.

Por fin lo vi!! Y nunca me arrepiento de seguir vuestras recomendaciones. A Business Proposal es una serie que había ido retrasando porque siempre se me cruzaba uno por delante al que le daba preferencia. Pero la verdad es que esta es una serie que necesitaba ver ahora mismo, algo tranquilo, bonito y cómico.
No se ha convertido en mi serie favorita porque me suelen gustar más las series que tienen romance pero unido a otra trama igual de importante. Sin embargo, eso no ha quitado que me haya gustado mucho y sobre todo que la haya disfrutado. La he visto en dos días y sin darme cuenta pasaba de un capítulo a otro jajajajajajaja.
Por cierto, quiero dar un reconocimiento al abuelo del presidente porque me he reido mucho con él y ha sido uno de mis personajes favoritos. La verdad es que me he sentido muy identificada con él, sobre todo cuando está viendo Doramas, por favor, reconocer que todas somos así jajajajajajaja.
Una pega que le pongo a la serie es el desarrollo de la pareja secundaria. Me han gustado mucho ambas parejas pero creo que la secundaria ha sido mi favorita. Pero me ha parecido que le han dado muy poco tiempo en pantalla y que han resuelto muchas situaciones rápidamente. Siento que principalmente la han utilizado como forma de “aliviar” la situación de la pareja principal. Creo que la serie hubiera estado muchísimo mejor si hubieran hecho de ambas parejas las principales y les hubiera dado un desarrollo de manera más igualitaria.
Igualmente, es una serie muy bonita que recomiendo ver cuando quieres reirte, cuando has terminado un drama que te ha dejado un vacío y no sabes que empezar o cuando quieres algo ligero que te haga volver a creer en el amor, sin duda, tu serie es A Business Proposal.

storia leggera e carina

semplicemente STUPENDO.
Mi ha fatto morire dalle risate e allo stesso tempo ci sono stati molti momenti tristi. Solitamente non piango per delle le scene in cui si baciano ma la prima volta che si sono baciati seriamente, quello sul ponte, mi ha fatto morire dal pianto, ero così esausta del fatto che lei si facesse troppe illusioni negative che la portavano a pensare che non fosse la scelta giusta accettare il suo amore.
Per quanto riguarda il cuoco sono veramente arrabbiata con lui, Ha ri ha sempre avuto una cotta per lui e anche lui ricambiava peccato che abbia sempre pensato ad uscire con altre poi quando Ha ri ci è veramente passata su e stava con un altro invece di supportare, come lei aveva sempre fatto, l'ha scoraggiata ancora di più e questa cosa mi ha fatto veramente arrabbiare.
Parlando della migliore amica di Ha ri, è letteralmente un amore, la adoro tantissimo, tutti si meriterebbero un amica come lei, stesso discorso per Sung Hoon, stupendi entrambi.
Infine devo dire che ho amato anche il team 1, quando Ha ri è andata a finire in quello scandalo pensavo che le avrebbero solo voltato le spalle invece si sono rivelati migliori di quel che credevo, ho amato come l'hanno protetta pur non sapendo se i pettegolezzi fossero veri o meno.
Questo drama fa capire molto bene i temi di cui parla: come le famiglie ricche non accettino il matrimonio con persone "normali", come la gente pensa solo a se stessa e se pensa agli altri è perchè deve sparlare alla meglio peggio e su come il giudizio degli altri importi e possa pesare sulle persone che non hanno fatto nulla di sbagliato.
All'inizio ero un pò perplessa di come la trama fosse molto simile al drama "The Secret Life of my Secretary" ma alla fine si è rivelato molto diverso, solo all'inizio la trama è stata simile poi col passare degli episodi lo scenario è cambiato notevolmente.
Mi è piaciuto molto il finale, lo immaginavo diverso ma è molto meglio così. Immaginavo che questo drama si chiudesse col matrimonio dato che se n'è parlato molto ma è innovativo come l'hanno chiuso, mi piace, non hanno allargato troppo la situazione dei personaggi secondari così come i primari alla fine ma penso sia giusto. Rewatchable but....

....because of the second couple and not so much the main one.
Don't get me wrong, the main romance is also great and the FL is brilliant, she really shines in her role and I think it's because of her bubbly personality mainly but the second leads in this show really steal the spotlight.
I love things like not being able to be a couple because of something stupid that then rectifies itself, predictably but whatever, and then it's just a cute story from there- trust me, that isn't a spoiler because there's so much going on with these two that it's never simple for them.

It's funny, serious, whimsical and cute- I would say it's worth a watch for sure.

business proposal

this was done so damn right, and amazingly done this needs all the awards in the world, fantasy, romance, history, freaking everything even horror after seeing the weird female leads 'best friend/crush' guy. the main female lead oh my days i love her she's so pretty ha-ri is drop dead gorgeous and i don't know how she wake up so pretty like she just got ready for the day. then kang tae moo can have my next born child that's how hot he is he can literally wear heels and step on me continually and i would say thank you please continue. then the second lead couple freaking amazing *chef's kiss* again love the enemies to lovers trope give me freaking more. its so good i have no other words to say

For cliché lovers!

Honestly, I was either confused and frustrated or giggling and laughing. This is a good watch if you miss romcom dramas of the past decade! But it wasn't that memorable at all.

I watched this because of the hype it was getting. It was really good at its first few episodes. It was truly romance and comedy, but comedy was gone after episode 9. It actually became boring. The ending felt rushed too. I wished there were at least one more episode, or they could've improved the last two episodes, but again, it went downhill. I still had a lot of questions after watching, and it wasn't in a way that it got me hooked. More like in a “... what was that ???” way.

I saw someone say the whole plot seemed like fillers for the whole drama and honestly, I kind of agree. It was plotless.

The second couple also had more chemistry and their relationship seemed realistic, but was still not something remarkable. Characters were one-dimensional and it was frustrating to see the lie go on.

Overall, this wasn't just my cup of tea. I love me some romcoms but I still want it to have some plot.

It's really not that deep though. I was just disappointed because of its hype.

Superb Casting

The roles fit to the performers well. The casting was perfect. I like everything about it, except that it is not something I would rewatch again and again like Love O2O. The story was a cliche it's just likable because it was well-performed. The ML is perfect for the CEO role - the looks, the way he delivered the lines, the personality and the way he carried himself.; not trying so hard. He looks natural. The FL has the FL vibe - nice hair, and the charm. All other characters fit the role as well. I am looking forward to the ML doing another CEO role again. He is perfect for this kind of role.

Como Conquistar Um CEO Bonitão

O Dorama, Pretendente Surpresa, fala sobre uma mulher chamada Shin Ha-Ri, que vai à um encontro às cegas no lugar de sua amiga, ... Ela tem o objetivo de assustar o homem, fazendo com que ele desista de tentar algo com a sua amiga, que sonha em encontrar o amor verdadeiro. Mas chegando lá, ela se depara com o dono da empresa na qual ela trabalha, Kan Tae-Mon. Ela tenta colocar seu plano em ação, mas acaba conquistando ele, que marca um outro encontro e a pede em casamento, mas a mesma acaba rejeitando ele. Todas às vezes que eles se cruzam, ela se esconde para que ele não descubra sua verdadeira identidade, já que disse a ele que se chama Shin Gwoon.

O Dorama é incrível, tem um enredo criativo, com algumas reviravoltas e um romance extremamente bom. Eu amo a conexão criada pelos casais, o romance deles. As cenas são divertidas, leves e engraçadas, além de ser bem românticas também.
É impossível não assistir com um sorriso no rosto. É bonito de se vê o amor do Tae-Mon pela Ha-Ri. E o do Cha pela ...
O Dorama tem uma pegada de "Sorriso Real", CEO com funcionária, a desigualdade social entre eles, entre diversos fatores.
Simplesmente assistam, vale a pena.
