I don’t think we need any explanation regarding this. Both series are covering entertainment industry with the celebrity fell into the ‘non-celeb’ leads first. Both are trying to get this ‘non-celeb’ dude’s heart and all in all I think both are quite similar and would be another version of one another. Lighthearted series I would say. Very nice to handle your boredom…
With a father who's a singer, a mother who's a movie star, and an older brother Shougo who's the lead vocalist for the super-popular band "The Crusherz," Sena Izumi—an otaku college student—is the only dull one born into this super-famous and talented family. He loves "Magical Girl LalaLulu" and is working hard to become a mangaka, but one day he winds up appearing in a TV commercial he just can't turn down. There, he's reunited with Ichijou Ryouma, the super-popular young actor he costarred with on a project ten years prior.
Both series have a powerful side character of a terrible artist manager who makes serious problems not only to the actor she is supposed to take care of but also to people around him.
Also, the series have a similar vibe, they are both quite light-hearted and entertaing, although the behaviour of some characters may annoy you.

Long time love reuniting, waiting to meet their love and the male lead being an actor.
In case of love stage, ryou meets a girl when he shoots a comercial in his childhood and falls in love. He waits to meet that person all life without having no idea that the little girl he met was orginally a boy(named Anda) dressed as a girl. They reunite again to the same commercial but as grownups few years later, until Ryou discovers that Anda is a boy.

The main character in both series originally thought he was straight and that's why he wanted to refuse the person he had loved in the past after discovering the person was a man. Anyway, later he decides that gender does not matter when it comes to love.
Both shows are easy to watch and entertaining but not stupid.
