Show!terview with Jessi (2020)

I don’t think it’s possible to find a more real, fun and natural show than this. Never seen actors, idols or other celebrities act more like themselves than here - no censoring of behavior, no fake politeness. Jessi knew how to bring the best out of people and make it amazingly entertaining, while staying true to herself.

She made every segment of the show so fun to watch. Her bold and open attitude left no room for boredom. Yes, she is loud and might seem intimidating at first, but the girl has a pure and loving heart. Even if I was not exactly a fan of the person whom she interviewed, the episodes were still extremely funny to watch - she has that talent.

Script? Don’t know her and neither does Jessi. You can see how she flips through the pages and at the end says whatever she seems fitting for the occasion. The lack of formality and more “chatting with a friend” and less “being interviewed by MC” vibe created a good space for celebrities to be more themselves without feeling judged.

I truly have nothing bad to say. I rewatched so many episodes it’s scary. Some of my favorite episode include ones with (in chronological order):
Haha (07), Eric Nam (10), Lee Sang Yeob (25), Sung Hoon (36), Highlight (49), TXT (63), Ateez (68), ITZY (69), Haha (79), A Pink (85).
As you can see, for many of them idols were the guests. We know how careful of their image they are, so it was refreshing to see them just have fun, joke around and be influenced by Jessi’s “I don’t care” attitude.

Jessi's variety show!

I love watching this especially when I'm stressed; I feel like I can actually connect with these artists! The cast (staff and artists) all keep it real instead of just showing the boring details everyone already knows. With variety shows it's just, promote your song, weird hard challenges, sometimes disrespectful hosts, edit this in edit this out. They're just not as fun to watch. THIS ONE THOUGH! Funny as hell. And I can watch it for free WITH SUBS on youtube so I'm just like :) Happy fan

I can't really say anything, or rate for that matter, about the music and the story. It's a variety show, the music is literal sfx and the story is getting to know the celebrities. I wish I could leave those ratings out but I can't so I'll set it at 5 :(( Regardless, I enjoy every episode of this, so it's a 10 for me <3

Singer/composer/musician/performer and now Television Host she’s unstoppable - go Jessi!!!

❤️Watched all the episode which I now have on repeat❤️Jessi is so quick witted, her facial expressions are priceless👀 she is naturally funny. Jessi is so talented not only as a singer/composer/performer/musician but now as a television host❤️Jessi and Jo Jung Shik, Real Annoucer (just can’t believe he is a real news announcer - he is so good at variety) are a fantastic team with real chemistry when they are together.. Jessi relaxes her guests bringing out their personalities through fun activities💚loved the interactions with the staff too. Whoever writes the English subtitles is BRILLIANT.😂I can’t stop laughing❤️International Fan from London, U.K.

I was looking for this kind of show, it's not like any other regular talk show (basically) the kind of "sit-down I wanna know about your life" in a formal setting type of show. It's very fun and spontaneous. I was amazed how Jessi made sure at least a part of their real personality will come out. It's very refreshing and I get to know much more of my favorite artists and the artists that I've ever known in the industry. I also discovered artists that are way much better than how and what I've known about them so far because of the way Jessi interview them. Most of them they might be flustered with the abrupt questions (just like the regular Jessi I know) It might make them uncomfortable or awkward at some point of the show but most of them especially the entertainers who are used to being in front the camera are comfortable at most of the time of the shoot. In that way, as to they are comfortable (they might be awkward first bc some of them it's their first time to see and know Jessi) I get to know them more as to they are comfortable. ❤️ As an international fan I can relate a lot from the content so it's really 내 스타일 (my style). It's a great show and refreshing. I really appreciate shows who venture out unique, new, and different format of shows with all of their hard work and their courage to step out and go out of the box and break boundaries. In that industry, it will take a lot of courage to muster and do that with all of the risks and all. Looking forward to more of this. ❤️

Can't help smiling

I have not seen every episode but this woman is a South Korean national treasure, she's so brilliant and funny. I mean she's a singer and dancer and she does her thing and she's bold and brassy and doesn't pull punches. I feel like there's no one like her out there in Korean Tv land. She's confronting and hilarious and maybe sometimes she makes people, celebrities a little uncomfortable but so she should, one thing she is never ever boring. I'm so glad she's out there shaking things up a bit, we need more people like that. Its a joy watching her put celebrities on the spot.
