Cute!
Learned about this short film from a BL Instagram account. It was only about 7 minutes so I had to watch it! And it was cute and adorable though a bit rushed (which is understandable as it is a short film). I would love to be able to see this short film fleshed out into a full-length BL series. That would be great!Train and train stations have always been romanticized in films and TV shows. Whether it is a departure of a loved one, the arrival of a loved one or a chance encounter with a future loved one. Trains and train stations hold a special place in my heart. Whenever I ride the train in my hometown, I secretly wish that I will cross paths with a future lover, that I will catch someone's attention and that they will approach me, making small talk or ask for my number. This has yet to happen and I doubt that it will, but still, I still hope...

Love, Again, on the Tracks
Jim is a location scout for a film production company, and he finds himself at a train station. He knows it is a complete cliche to set a love story there, and yet, when Toy rests his head on Jim's shoulder, he comes to understand why train stations work so well. There is a lot to like in this short movie - the location is appealing, the cinematography is pretty good and the actors are cute and look good together. These actors are so new, Ohm Pasawit's Instagram (he played Jim) was set to private. He's so new he isn't even in MDL! I liked the forwardness of Toy and the playful exchange between them. These aren't confused characters - they're gay, and they're going to hook up. If that isn't romance for the modern age, then I don't know what is.Considerați utilă această recenzie?
Surprisingly good for 7 minutes??
I’m honestly shocked by how much I liked this! It was so cute and very nicely done for such a short little film. The ending was extremely cute and while open-ended still left me with a satisfied feeling.I love the concept of the guy scouting a film location for a romance film and then catching feelings for someone in the place he was so underwhelmed by (I’m not saying he fell in love because he knew the guy like 3 hours, but in my head they went off together and are happy). I think it was such a good idea for a short, I’m just very pleased.
The music was good, mostly just a simple piano melody, but I think it was a good choice for the vibe of the film.
To be honest, the script is where this short really won me over. The film scout’s internal dialogue at the end was so sweet, it gave me little happy butterflies and made me smile like an idiot.
Really this is just a super cute little film, and I recommend it because it’s really just so short there isn’t really a reason NOT to watch it. I watched this on YouTube on the channel Imagine Thailand.

7 minutes of fluff.. and just a small touch of angst (people stay off train tracks)
In 7 way to short minutes we got to see the share essence of two people showing who they are, as the story has a meeting of chance as well as a problem to solve giving these two a chance to show who they are.I must however warn sensitive viewers as there is a scene where one of the guys is on the train tracks, people stay off the tracks it is f*** dangerous there. The 7 minutes also lack logic, but I will not spoil the plot for you by telling you where the logic is missing.
This said, these are 7 really sweet minutes a joy to watch and definitely worth those 7 minutes leaving wanting a lot more and hoping to see them actually get on a train for part 2, maybe 14 minutes?
I am really impressed over the unique take (still lacking logic) of the love at a train station, I do think there is a lot more to explore for both those two and the subject of the train station.
Did I mention it is a story revolving around a train station? (sorry).
So yes, go watch it, enjoy...

Neat Concept and Balanced Story
I really liked the concept where the lead character's opinion of the train station basically mirrors the thoughts of a viewer. In other words, he imagines how a romance could ever happen in such a location in a clever irony. The transition in his thoughts, framing of the scenes, and music all blended well together. I also like the idea of a location becoming romantic with the right person and events versus being inherently romantic. Overall, for its length, I thought the story wasn't too ambitious or too little, too sappy or too corny. It was just right for me.Considerați utilă această recenzie?
