Meeting You Loving You (2021)

Cliche

First and foremost, the ML and the two second FLs are good looking.

The storyline started out well but went downhill with really cliche kidnapping and hospitalisation scenes. They just had to incorporate the typical ML/FL dying and losing their memory into the plot. Like come on, not all couples have a tragic story in their life right? ML was still disgusted and mean to FL even after recovering fragments of lost memory but immediately agreed to FL’s marriage proposal and treated her the way he used to treat her prior to the memory lost. I don’t catch the chemistry and logic. When ML’s supposedly passed away from the failed surgery, the FL did not question where ML’s remains were without any intention for funeral arrangements and the fact that his doctor friend did not come back. His friend’s gf did not even question his sudden decision to stay abroad. Sounds illogical for both the FL and second FL to not know that ML has been alive and in coma for 4 years.

The chemistry is not as expected even though both ML and FL made out many times. It feels likes drunk people making out without any feelings. No caressing or skin ship when making out. The camera man did not bring out the chemistry effect.

The other two couples are not as interesting as usual in cdrama so I skipped most of their scenes.

Horrible character writing and plot that make your blood boil

If you detest the damsel-in-distress, incompetent typa FL who is a burden to others and doesn't know how to clean up after her ass, or the controlling, condescending typa ML who bullies and bosses FL around, take a hard pass on this one. Or you would be fuming with rage and cringing with secondhand embarrassment. This is the epitome of feel-bad trashy drama that i would give less than 1 star if i could.

3 episodes in and there's nothing that i like about FL. I wouldn't call her a fashion professional, considering her wardrobe choice. Her overlength dress on the 1st ep looks like it's designed to mop the floor. That's not to mention she's messy, inconsiderate, and doesn't have the habit of cleaning up after herself, messes up his house, and lets ML do the cleaning, until he pointed that out in details, much to her unjustified disgruntlement. My gosh the secondhand embarrassment ?‍♀️. She's like a spoiled, self-entitled damsel in distress. Also, i don't get how she failed to notice ML's obvious power. I mean she noticed it when she first met him, but somehow when it happened right in front of her face again she didn't lol.

I don't like ML either. He is extremely talented at getting on my nerves for using his power and leverage to boss FL around, bully her, and patronize her, which she could do nothing but endure and comply. He's such a condescending, controlling jerk that i can only enjoy the scenes in which he suffered and skips those that are romantic. 6 eps in and I guess i won't get that satisfaction before their first kiss, since FL was still at his mercy being a complete emotional bag. I'm the type who would skip the parts that revolt and annoy me, but i'm afraid i'd have to skip almost the entire drama. I wholeheartedly pray that Aaron Deng picks better script in the future.

Sans intérêt...

Bon bah, y'a pas grand chose à sauver. Meeting Yoy Loving You est le cliché du drama moderne que vous avez regardé la semaine dernière avec des visages différents, c'est tout.

La FL est horrible au point de me faire douter sur la qualité de performance de l'actrice, Zhang Xi Ye. Son personnage est à se frapper la tête contre un mur et ce serait sûrement moins douloureux que la supporter. C'est le parfait mélange de l'arrogante égocentrique et nombriliste, ingrate et pleurnicheuse à la moindre occasion avec en prime une fierté sacrément mal placée. Pour résumer : la pseudo femme forte qui pleurniche au moindre problème. Cela dit, on ne pourra nier ses tenues qui sont sublimes, mais c'est bien son seul atout.

Le ML est sans saveur et le portrait type du genre. C'est le PDG par excellence, beau comme pas permis et distant. Bon, ce n'est pas comme si ce genre de caractère n'était pas déjà usé depuis cinq ans, mais soit... Les productions ne semblent pas décidés de lâcher ces éternels PDG sans âme.

D'ailleurs, dans une majorité des dramas romantiques, l'alchimie du couple permet de sauver une intrigue foireuse. Ici, elle n'existe pas. Oui, on peut noter pas mal de baisers, mais ils sont ternes et moyennement convaincants.

L'intrigue est peu fournie et à peine remarquable. C'est digne d'une série pour ado. D'ailleurs, c'est sûrement pour cette raison que le public est si tranché sur ce drama - ceux qui ont aimé contre ceux qui n'ont pas aimé.

En bref, Meeting You Loving You n'invente rien et recycle tous les clichés du genre avec en prime une FL horrible et un ML sans attrait particulier remettant même en cause leur performance respective.

To Much Of A Cliché !!!!!!

This is ultimate cliché drama. The writer could not have pick more clichés. Let us start with the FL who starts with this hate for the ML and it seem to me that she was more arrogant then hating the ML. Oh, we can forget that her dad collapses at the beginning of the story and is in some kind of coma for 3 month while everything was happening and just happens to wake up in the last 2 episodes. The FL goes from a actress to the CEO of her dads company. WOW! Then we have the ML who is so rich and will do anything for the FL because he feels guilty about something that happens in the past. That no one investigated until now to find the truth. Let us not forget that the ML has some super power that he can control objects because of something that happen years ago when he was younger. We have the obsess boy who is an old friend that grew up together but never was able to tell her that he was in love and now feel that he had been wronged. The girl who also grew up with the FL and the boy who is obsess with her and she is in love with the boy and will do anything he ask. Even when he is willing to hurt their friend the FL. In all this we still have a bad guy who brides board members, the obsess boy, the girl who is the FL friend and so many more thru out the story. Disgusting, this was sickening. The chemistry of the leads is terrible. Until the last 3 episodes witch was the only episodes I enjoy. Even when they throw at us that the ML is going to die, then dies, then comes back to life. PLEASE !!!!!!!!!! The writer of this story should try to pick a topic and research it and do a better scrip. Not a good drama for me.

Boring

There is basically nothing which is really attractive about this drama. Just watched the first episode and then decided to drop it. The beginning was confusing, the first episode itself wasn't engaging at all. The scene when the FL woke up beside the ML on the bed and called him disgusting, it was already clear for me what their missunderstanding is actually going to be. Even when both the leads were on screen together, I really didn't feel the chemistry at all (after watching clips of them together). There was something about the female lead which made her acting kind of irritating for me. It was like waatching her acting and expressions was enough to make me depressed. Lets not forget about the super powers of the ML which wasn't necessary at all and felt like was even used in this story just for saving the FL as she was your typical damsel in distress. The way the ML uses his powers by keeping his finger beside his nose was really comical. I mean man you are being way too obvious and he didn't even try to hide it. From the comments I already know what the story is going to be like so I'm not going to waste my time over it.
