Youkai Sharehouse (2020)

Both drama focus on the female lead and her adventutes surviving with the supernatural. Various stories of ghosts and supernatural beings. While Master's Sun focuses more on the romance, Yokai Sharehouse is more about found family and finding out where you belong in life, despite the adversities.

The female lead is unlucky/unpopular with guys before living with roommate(s).

The female lead is forced to live with strangers due to circumstances and not having enough money to move out.

Both have ghosts and lessons in each episode or arc, both is funny but emotional. If you enjoyed the dynamics between Yiyong and the ghost so you are gonna enjoy these characters from japanese mythology helping a homeless girl!

Both have creepy horror vibes, but fun to watch.
Unpredictable plots.
Leads with special powers.
The romance is not fluffy at all.
(both plots are the kind only Jdramas can provide really)

Both the dramas are about youkais but in Yokai Ningen Bem they call themselves as plain monsters but in Youkai sharehouse the "monsters" are from Japanese mythical creatures. Both also involve a human befriending the monsters. Both of them are a good watch but in my opinion, Youkai sharehouse is funnier than Yokai Ningen Bem.
