Both, probably came from the same morality tale. Both dramas are based on a mother's revenge plot - carried out by a slave raped in one series, and a woman used in the other drama. Where both girls are groomed by mom, to be in a relationship with the men believed to be the girls' biological fathers. All in the name of revenge - both overly long.

The revenge in both dramas is centered on the child's hidden identity. While both are orchestrated by a vengeful parent.
