Uee and Choi Shi Won look so good together
My review: Love VirtuallyLove Virtually is a dating app. The number of virtual couples has outnumbered the couples in real life and It's been 100 days since Giselle (Uee) and Leo (Choi Shi Won) met through this app. One day, the app crashes and they are unable to have the love experience. They decide to meet up but here is the thing, the way they appear in the virtual app is not how they look.
The visuals are stunning, the skyscrapers and the beautiful city lights, really amazed me. I wish the story had more, it felt a little bland in between, but I really loved the concept of falling in love virtually. The music is okay and the acting is soft and nice to watch. Also, Uee and Choi Shi Won look so good together
The message of this drama is Where you meet is not important. What matters is how much you care for each other.

Lack of Chemistry
The story concept seemed interesting to me since these days a lot of people turn to online dating to meet others. I liked the idea of this type of virtual dating. If it was available right now, I would do it since I wouldn't have to leave my house.I really wanted to like the show, but it was not enjoyable for me. It is shot well, the idea behind the story is great, and it has some really amazing sights. I also liked that they liked each others virtual selves despite those not being a "mainstream look", this was probably my favorite part of the story. I also liked the friendship between Siwon's and Ahn Se Ha's characters. As well as that of UEE's and Kim Han Na's. Yet, it wasn't executed well enough. It lacked that something that would have hooked me and left me wanting more at the end of the show. Once it ended, I was glad. Another issue I had was that I felt UEE and Siwon lacked chemistry and it made for a hard watch.
If another drama was shot with this concept, but longer and with a different cast, I would watch it. As it is, I would not rewatch this even thought it's only around 40 minutes.

Short and light romance
So short at only 40 mins, but light and cute.Interesting story. I thought the premise turned the usual trope upside down. We usually see guy/girl getting surgery and being liked for their new faces, but here, they actually liked each other as they were. Now it makes me wonder why they had surgery in the first place.
They fell in love in the dating app using their pre-surgery faces but were afraid to take their virtual relationship to the next level (eg. meeting in real life) because they feel like the other one will not like their post surgery faces (which happens to be the same faces with 10,000 other people). They tried going out with other people but they couldn't find the same connection as they did with each other, because the other people they dated just loved them for their looks, not their personalities.
I liked that both of them had their own friend to talk to about their problems/issues. I liked that they finally confronted each other and tried to make it work. I loved the production of showing the virtual dating world. and I loved their final words to each other.
"On the day you first talked to me, I thought you'd leave me like everyone else did. Because they always left me in the end. Even I hated my blunt nose, mole, and chin. You liked me as I am and thanks to you, I like myself better now."
"Where you meet isn't important. What matters is how much you care for each other, right?"

Good Enough
Korean Series SF8 is an ambitious anthology of sci fi stories. Others are better constructed, fitting well into the short length of an hour, others had compelling stories or characters or both, and others didn't do so well. Nevertheless, all of them had interesting themes, great performances and, best of all, beautiful CGI that created the perfect futuristic atmosphere.Love Virtually, unfortunately, failed to impress. The chemistry was not there, the story was not that interesting and the twist of the two meeting in real life was not enough to keep things interesting and thrilling. At least the performances were enjoyable.
