Both are occult dramas and involve mysterious supernatural beings entering into the mortal world. Occult, mystery, and supernatural.

In DAS there are evil aliens and in Hellbound some monsters from hell and people struggling to fight them.

In both 'immoral' people start dying under mysterious circustances and people think it's God's judgement and this becomes a cult.

Sweet Home and Hellbound are similar as:
- they both have a supernatural element to it
- they both are dark fantasy dramas
- they both adapted from a webtoon
- they both have strong female leads

hellhounds contain similar characters as both also revolve around the supernatural.
The differences may be in the entities and story background. These two films have a similar feel of terror, the atmosphere given is also the same.
