VR romance genre with good emotional growth and throughlines. I would say Sassy Beauty have the stronger serious plot though compared to Love & The Emperor.

Both FLs come from the modern day real world into a historical world where they at one point are a servant, and at another pose as a man/are in a man's body. Both MLs are emperors who fall deeply in love with the FL, but realize she must return to the real world.

Both have a modern day FL traveling to a historical setting with VR/game elements. Both MLs are royal, and much of the story is set in the palace.
