Both are really gripping Chinese language crime thrillers.

The male prosecutor persevered to get to the bottom of the death of his friend's boyfriend. He got all those involved in the death of the deceased accountable in the end.

A crime drama with a complicated story line and great acting. Ending not wasn’t perfect, but still really worth watching.

Both are crime dramas that follow a group of character over many years. In both dramas there is a protagonist that sacrifices nearly his whole life for justice. In both dramas there is the theme of corruption and the fight against it.

Can we just say that every crime drama watchers must go straight right into the Light On Series because that's how it should be? In terms of how frustrating it is, I can say The Long Night is at this level.
