Chase me and Pull my Pigtails Please Mr. Scene Thief
This is my first review, even though I have been a member for a long time. I will admit that I am usually generous with my ratings because I tend to value things for what they are and not what I expect them to be. BUT, I only give a 10 to shows that make me marathon them AND have a satisfying ending.I'll start with Xu Kai, since he is the reason I found the show. I'm a sucker for devils with handsome faces, and this show put him at the top of my "Jerks you want to kiss list." I fall in love with all his characters and I am always afraid he will be type-casted each time, but he never fails to draw me in. Even if he wasn't illegally handsome his acting skills would keep me stalking his newest shows. His acting never stops. Even when the camera isn't on him, I can't stop staring. I lost count of how many times I had to replay a scene because I forgot to pay attention to everyone else's reactions. He's an expert scene thief!
I think Cheng Xiao did a great job of playing a young woman in a man's world. She was the perfect combo of feminine badass. The only thing that felt unrealistic was her ability to push Xu Kai away, even once! I mean this as a compliment. This must take good acting skills. All joking aside, I loved her character. This was my first show with her in it and I look forward to seeing her in other roles.
All the other characters were just as entertaining and lovable! I definitely picked up some hinted BL or bromance, but I admit that I'm also usually hunting for it. I'd say more, but I hate spoilers.
The friendships and teamwork themes were really heartwarming and just as entertaining as the romance. I admit I got choked up a few times. I also really enjoyed the animated gaming scenes. They made the competitions more exciting and fun to watch.
I can't leave without giving props to Tong Yao's parents. I normally dislike meddling parents in dramas, but they cracked me up. Their character growth had me rolling by the last episode and I even missed them when they were absent from too many episodes!

Pretty good series. ( a pic of THE UNTAMED was shown :DDDD)
TBH i started watching this show with very very high expectations.. but in the first 2 episodes i wanted to throw my remote at the TV and stop because of the acting.. The cast looks good no doubt but in the first two episodes, the acting was wayyyy too stiff and i felt like even a 5 year old could show better expressions than that. However, the cast redeemed themselves starting from the 3rd episode.then their personalities came through, and better acting was noticeable. The buildup is steady and not rushed or slow. im on the 11th episode rn and some swoonworthy moments already occured and i had to control my scream because dvkugswhbuo ? This series wont disappoint. The animation and portrayal of panic, anxiety and hard work (tong yao) were on point too. Not to mention the rest of the cast is also their own person. no one is present to make the leads look good.
ALSO, the one thing that pushed me to write this review is, if you're a die-hard fan of the untamed like me, and will watch anything that has even a SEMBLANCE of it in it, then watch till episode 11. 22:08 is the time stamp. It's shown as the main poster being kept in a photo frame and i almost choked on my food when i saw it. It's not even talked about but since a blurry angle of it was there, i like tong yao wayyyyyy more now (she likes the untamed what do u expect??)

Fast moving and funny
This is my second show that is about e sport romance , after love 020 .It is different from love 020 , I did not read the novel, and I also do not play that much of games, perhaps it is part of the reason I can enjoy the show better without doing comparison.
I am not sure if I would like Chessman's character in real life, however in the show, I like how he is bickering and teasing Tong Yao, he can be harsh and ruthless with his words, caring on another hand . The dialog can be witty (eg. I don't expect he would introduce himself as Chessman to her parents) and the team member's reaction is funny too.
I wish I can enjoy the game parts better, it is unclear to me who plays what character in the game and how they win their game. A lot of time I have to rewind to understand the game part ,
Hopefully it gets better , not the other way round, like some of the shows started good but with chaos ending.

This is amazing drama and love of xu Kai drama always with my heart ❤️❤️❤️and concept of story is also good and there 8s no any bad comments on it.and hope all like this drama with their heart and live their character ?.Main lead are also doing well and supporting role are also doing nice,and always keep entertaining us and we are enjoying this drama so much ❤️❤️??? lots of love from Nepal ????I am waiting to see more dramas of xu Kai ,??and I love his drama Ancient love poetry also much ❤️? and my favourite drama ,??

Fun to Watch
I watch a lot of CDrama's and KDrama's (all with english sutitles) and some that are labelled as comedy do get a laugh out of me but this series is LOL funny. The bickering between the FL and ML is on going, rapid fire and very witty and I find myself rewinding just to appreciate certain interactions and laugh again. I'm not really interested in gaming but this series makes the whole lifestyle interesting and entertaining. Big ups to the writer who could strike a great balance between comedy and depicting the excitement and pressure of the professional Esports world. The production is very good but what brings me back so eagerly to each episode is the screenplay and the great acting. Xu Kai and Cheng Xiao are giving outstanding performances and the support actors are holding their own.You must watch this.

smiling and her bsf got a happy ending
It was my favourite movie on my top 2. I love how they act, but tbh the gaming parts were so boring I just skip them but overall i still love it. and I rewatched for almost five times and I'm on my 5th rewatch. and I really want a season 2 again. the actors were also pretty good. my fav characters were K, smiling, luci Cheng, ai jia and Ming. I love the surprises and almost everything else. Best E-sport Chinese Drama of 2021
Watching this drama over and over again. I really like it. XK and CX had a great chemistry in this drama. Handsome Lu Sicheng and Cutie Yao Yao for the win. Also love Jian Yang and Ai Ja. I miss them everyday. Hope to see them together again in a historical drama, movie, tv show or as real-life partner. Because of them I already forgot my kdrama watchlist. I’m into cdrama everyday nonstop and I’m loving it. I also find this site easy to use if I had to look for a particular actor, drama or movie both chinese and korean. MALDITO DRAMA ADICTIVO CON SONRISA ENCANTADORA
No soy de las personas que le gusta los videojuegos y por obvias razones me la paso viendo cdramas. PERO en este caso tuve un serio apego emocional a este drama.Después de un terrible receso de cdramas me encontré con este por relativamente, casualidad, antes ya había escuchado todos sus rumores y disgustos por el hecho de haberse etiquetado como e-sport. No conocía la comunidad de jugadores profesionales de videojuegos si no hubiera sido por este drama.
Tengo que aclarar que tampoco conocía a Xu Kai y este artículo no está apegado a mis sentimientos o emociones hacia este actor debido a que nunca en mi vida creí que un ser humano podía ser tan buen actor, tan hermoso (hablando abiertamente de su físico espectacular) y que podría encantarme con su sonrisa.
Hubo vierta anécdota con este drama porque confundí a la actriz principal con Lui Ren Yi (una idol china además de la actriz principal del cdrama juvenil y universitario de romance "The love equations (2020)) Yo creí inocentemente que era ella hasta que vi que el nombre en el cast no era el mismo, gran decepción que me lleve al saber que no era ella. Aun así la actriz principal o me decepciono en lo absoluto.
Hablando del drama en general:
Yo me volví adicta a este drama, me dejo un vacío emocional tan doloroso que tuve que volverlo a ver tan pronto lo termine. Literalmente no podía siquiera dormir por lo maravilloso que era. Viví con ojeras enormes durante tres días porque mis estudios no me permitían ver mas.
Por lo general termino un cdrama en una semana, siendo consiente de amarlo profundamente mientras pasan los días, pero esta vez me volví una completa adicta de un cdrama el cual no conocía a su cast, nunca había visto actuar ni siquiera de secundario a alguno de sus actores, no me gustaban los videojuegos ni mucho menos creí que podría existir amor en la comunidad de jugadores.
Si nos basamos en los primeros capítulos, tenía miedo, tenía miedo de que Lu Si Cheng sea ese capitán o ese típico chico que al principio odia o aleja despavoridamente a la protagonista, en este caso Tong Yao. Pero resulta que NO.
HABLANDO ABIERTAMENTE DE LU SI CHENG (LSC)
Yo quede con mis expectativas de chico malo en el piso, me encanto el papel de un chico algo duro, bueno, con enormes sentimientos por expresar, con un ser profundo, un joven que sigue y persigue sus sueños así tenga una gran empresa por heredar. Yo me enamore del papel de LSC. Como capitán era estupendo, ZGDX era un equipo fuerte gracias a la unión que tenían los chicos los unos a los otros y cuando ese lazo se vio roto por la salida de unos de sus miembros fue aún más unido por TY que llego para animar, alentar, y juntar aún más el equipo con su positividad y dulzura.
Continuando con LSC.... como decirlo... yo quería encarecidamente que el mundo me dé la oportunidad de ser la señora Lu. Él es el prototipo de hombre que defiende a su mujer y pone el pecho para que a ella no le de ninguna flecha.
Pero no solo eso, sino que también le mostraba lo que estaba bien y lo que estaba mal a TY.
Si nos fijamos en su romance (recordando que por estas mismas razones este drama fue criticado) y la manera en la que le demostraba a TY que estaba enamorado de ella era lo más dulce del mundo. Me dolía que le dijera "enana" porque investigando ella mide 167 cm, exactamente igual que yo. Desde ese momento quise tener piernas largas. Pero ese no es el punto si no ver como LSC se enamora de la chica bajita que lo estafo, incluso ¡ALERTA SPOILER! en una de sus conversaciones el fantaseaba con tener hijos con ella y decía que quería una hija y si es bajita (como Tong Yao) podría estafar a un chico alto al igual que su madre (refiriéndose a Tong Yao).
Una de las cosas que me encantan del físico de Xu Kai, aparte de su altura, era su maldita sonrisa encantadora que me hacía desear viajar a china a solo verlo sonreír. Era tan molestamente hermoso verlo sonreír que me sentía enamorada con tan solo verlo.
LSC es un personaje muy bien construido, pide perdón cuando lo necesita, pero también reprende y enseña cuando es necesario, tiene un pequeño "vicio" a los caramelos y una puntería espectacular (hablare de esta súper puntería cuando hable específicamente de los demás jugadores de ZGDX)
Ama apasionadamente a Tong Yao, aunque me resultaba gracioso sus pensamientos hacia las personas bajitas. Incluso me pareció correcta la manera en la que rechazaba a Su Luo (la cita a ciegas de LSC) aunque ella era demasiado persistente. Aun así dejo todo en buenos términos, estoy incluso contenta con ese personaje., que por lo general detesto.
Xu Kai (aunque es la primera vez que lo veo actuar) me impresiono, me recontra IMPRESIONO, nunca había visto ese poder al actuar y transmitir tanto, esa versatilidad. DIOS!!!!! Casi me vuelvo loca al verlo. Interpreto perfectamente a Lu Si Cheng.
En fin, Lu Si Cheng tiene todo lo que una persona quisiera encontrar en otra, sin idealizarlo mucho.
(Sí, Xu Kai se volvió mi actor favorito y ahora sobrevivo viendo The Legends)
HABLANDO DE LA DULDDCE TONG YAO (TY)
TY es ese personaje fuerte y decidida a lo que quiere hacer. Aunque tiene estudios universitarios ella prefirió hacer lo que le gusta y perseguir sus sueños.
Recuerdo que una de las escenas mas memorables fue cuando "llego su pariente" (forma discreta de decir que llego su periodo) y todos creyeron que se hizo en los pantalones. TY me gustaba porque sentía que era un ser humano normal, o sea, ¡¡¡¡ALERTA SPOILER!!!! ella perdió con Tamamo no mae (el personaje con el que siempre jugaba antes de ser jugadora profesional) ella lloro no porque perdió sino porque considera una fe a Tamamo no mae. Me gustaba que expresaba lo que pensaba y sentía además de no ser taaan delicada como todos los chicos creían. Como olvidar cuando le dieron una habitación completamente rosa. TY es de esos personajes que no te aburren ni te estresan por ser sumisas (ojo, ella no es nada sumisa)
Otro punto importante de TY es la coordinación de el nombre de su ID y su vivencia del día a día, ella representaba las sonrisas tal y como su nombre lo decía SMILING . Sinceramente me enamore de como sus dedos se movían y de su forma de ser, pensaba "que tonto la pudo dejar" (criticando por adelantado a su ex novio)
Muy aparte de su actitud alegre y decidida; ame la historia detrás de como llego a aprender a jugar videojuegos. Su primer amor que fue Jian Yang o Yang God o el capitán de CK, en fin, Jian Yang fue el primer amor de TY, y ella lo quería como tal, su historia que se remonta a la infancia y como crecieron juntos y se enamoraron. El amor en la universidad y todos los momentos que compartieron juntos definitivamente eran difíciles de olvidar pero no imposible, no voy a negar que me enamore físicamente de Jian Yang aunque era literalmente el personaje que supuestamente los separaría, pero incluso él la dejo ir.
Tong Yao amaba sin duda alguna a LSC aunque al principio ni ella misma se dio cuenta. Ella no era totalmente tímida, en definitiva era el equilibrio entre una dulce chica y una chica fuerte y decidida.
Cheng Xiao, no es que haya interpretado estupendamente tanto como parle un premio, sentí que faltaron mas emociones, o sea, necesitaba ver que su rostro se iluminara cuando veía a LSC al menos un poquito, que lloraba desconsoladamente cuando sufría por algo realmente doloroso, que sienta la indignación y que no tenga miedo al que dirán de su relaciona con LSC. Aun así en otros múltiples aspectos ella era perfecta. No me imagino una Falling into your smile sin Cheng Xiao, ella interpreto casi perfectamente TY.
PERSONAJES SECUNDARIOS TAN IMPORTANTES COMO LOS PRINCIPALES
Iniciemos con los chicos del equipo:
Xiao Pang (pequeño gordito) él era lo mas tierno que he visto en un cdrama. Él siempre estaba en el momento equivocado en el lugar incorrecto para ver cosas que innecesariamente necesarias (literalmente todos los momento comprometedores de LSC y TY) él era el tipo de compañero dulce y tierno, el ambiento la habitación de TG (todo rosa) también fue el primero que incluyó a TY en el equipo sin hacerle diferencia alguna. Un personaje dulce que te sacara muchas risas.
Old K ( o Lao K o viejo K ) cuando lo vi sentí el flechazo llegar a mi corazón. PERO QUE HOMBRE PARA MAS HERMOSO. Él es eso mismo con todas sus letras en mayúscula. HERMOSOOO. Aunque un fanático del cuidado de la piel y casi un buen bailarín era perfecto para mi. Al principio no estuvo muy de acuerdo con TY pero pronto se integraron mas e incluso hacían equipo juntos. Old K fue el primero que se dio cuenta del romance de TY y LSC. A veces lo shippeaba con Old Cad, por alguna razón sentía una conexión o una química entre esos dos.
Old Cad (o Lao Mao o viejo gato) aunque era el mas "ser humano normal" de toda la novela y obsesionado con hacer pesas y ejercicio no consiguió una chica para él. Pero es que a veces no entendía ninguna de las indirectas y era muy lento para captar el sarcasmo.
Lu Yue (el hermano pequeño de LSC) este personaje fue el que mas gracia me dio, moría de la risa cuando LSC le lanzaba cosas por decir o hacer cosas tontas. Además era tan apegado a su mamá que me hacia pensar que realmente era un bebe. Se suponía que era de la misma edad de TY (23) pero en vez de llevarse completamente bien usualmente estaban compitiendo lo que ponía energía a todo el drama. Era un buen cuñado y me encantaba las bromas que hacia.
Ming God (después el entrenador del equipo) fue quien tuvo la lesión y a quien remplazo TY. Él apreciaba mucho a los chicos y fue quien trajo al equipo a Old K.
Xiao Rui (el gerente de ZGDX) siempre estaba al pendiente de los chicos y los cuidaba incondicionalmente aunque a veces bajaba el sueldo. Él continuamente fue el complemento del drama.
Ahora hablemos un poco de las personas cercanas a TY
Jian Yang (el capitán de CK) Realmente me gusto su personaje, un poco toxico al inicio pero tengo que decir que él solito perdió su oportunidad con TY. Ciertamente él lego primero pero la dejo ir, no fue lo suficiente fuerte como para superar los obstáculos con TY. Perooo gracias a él TY y LSC se pudieron conocer y enamorar.
Jin Yang (la mejor amiga de TY) ella era de esas amigas que querían que te vieras exuberante para el chico que vas a conquistar, aunque era rica ella no hacia diferencia y ni hablar de su sentido de la moda. Ella apoyo incondicionalmente a TY y también puso su granito de arena para juntar a TY y LSC.
Ai Jia (novio de Jin Yang e integrante del equipo YQCB) el literalmente olfateaba a su amada novia, Jin Yang.
ANTAGONISTAS: Son los fans TOXICOS
EN GENERAL
Este cdrama es arte. Tiene distintos aspectos muy buenos y que nos enseñan lecciones de vida, en definitiva lo volvería a ver 10 000 veces, de hecho lo volví a ver al menos 5 veces y no soy de las personas que repiten los dramas mucho porque lo considero perder la oportunidad de ver oro cdrama pero en este caso este cdrama es arte y vale la pena verlo. NO, NO SOLO ES este drama es necesario verlo es como una legendas de los Cdramas.

HISTORIA EN GENERAL
La historia es algo común pero con aspectos diferentes e impactantes además de escenas dulces que enamoran a cualquiera. Aun así pienso que es una historia muy linda, con buen argumento y con una dulce historia de amor.
CONCLUSION
Después de escribir esto... creo que volveré a ver el drama. Simplemente no puedo deshacerme del vacío en mi corazón después de terminarlo por quinta vez.
También veré todos y cada uno de los dramas que tenga de protagonista a Xu Kai porque pienso que vale la pena ver a este tipo de actores tan perfectos y versátiles. Además de mi apego a su físico y su maldita sonrisa encantadora.

This drama gives me mixed emotions.....
Hello!To begin with, this drama is actually pretty good regardless of the e-sports controversy and the plagiarism scandal. The chemistry between the two main leads is very good and their chemistry with the other cast members is pretty solid too. However, the storyline is kind of awkward, and sometimes the lines that the actors say are weird and irrelevant.
In addition, is it just me who gets really irritated when the Korean players speak. My goodness, it is so strange and weird. One minute the Korean player understands Chinese and is laughing along with everyone --> the next minute the Korean player needs a translator for everything Chessman and Smiling. Every time a "Korean" player appears and starts speaking, I skip the scene.
One thing I would also like to point out is the scene where Smiling meets Lu Yue for the first time, Smiling was startle because of how much Lu Yue and Chessman look alike......BUT THEY DON'T LOOK ALIKE AT ALL!! The only thing they have in common is that they are both handsome :)
I don't think I will rewatch the drama as a whole but probably would only watch clips of just Smiling and Chessman together. There were multiple times that I was going to stop watching the drama because of the weird storylines and the Korean players. However, I think what made me stay to finish the drama was the strong chemistry between Smiling and Chessman. Although Chengxiao's acting isn't the best, she really fits the role of Smiling and is so cute when she smiles. The strong love between Smiling and Chessman as well as the comradeship with the ZGDX team makes them overcome all obstacles.

THIS SHOW WAS AMAZING!!! THE LEADS HAD GREAT CHEMISTRY WHICH TRANSLATED AND SHOWED TRUE FEELINGS IN THE SHOW.... THE STORY LINE WAS GREAT AND THE CHARACTER PORTRAL WAS TRUE TO ONES FEELINGS.... I WOULD LOVE TOO SEE THEM IN ANOTHER SHOW AGAIN..... I WOULD OFF LIKE AN LONGER ENDING BUT I GUESS THAT IS TO BE EXPECTED.... THE MUSIC SELECTION WAS OKAY AND THE OVERALL SHOW WAS 100.I WOULD RECCOMEND YOU WATCH THIS IF U HAVENT BECAUSE I WILL CERTAINLY BE WATCHING IT AGAIN.. I LOVED IT ...... THE BACK DROP AND SETTING WAS APPEALING TO THE VIEWERS EYES WHICH ADDED TO THE SHOW.. ONLU COMPLAIN I WOULD LOVE OF SEEN A LITTLE MORE TROUBLE FROM THE SECOND FEMALE LEAD TOWARDS CHESSMAN AND SMILING...
