Remind me of Hae Rang and Si Wol story......................................................................................................

Both dramas are about wealth/status.
Tho, "The last empress" is more about revenge.
The acting is amazing and mature.
There's multiple issues throughout the drama that gets resolved pretty quickly. An issue doesn't drag on and on/stack on top of another.
It's not boring.
Beautiful love, wonderful life has a better romance as youove forward with the episodes.
"The last empress" has more action.
I don't want to spoil anything thing so I would go any further.
What is similar is the feeling you get as you watch it.

Both have a complicated love situation with one sided love, clingy leads, disapproving and hateful mother in law, divorce, needy ex- husband etc. Also have a shocking discovery between two families.

both female leads are a cop that is trying to become the best cop.
they both have their own life and family struggle but different types of struggles to each other.

sisters/ family- both dramas contain sisters that fight with each other but due to different reasons.
female lead living in a poor family with the male lead in a rich family
ML and FL of both stories have met in the past but then reunited but don't know each other until later.
love/hate

The story line is not exactly the same but there were few scenes that felt similar between the 2 dramas. So if u liked the one u will definitely like the other

ML in both dramas have to reconsider dating FL because of a past involvement with a family member and other tragic circumstances around it.

At first look…
A poor high school girl meets rich guy starting/finishing enlistment.
Death: (Someone is forced to hide the truth about the death of the other’s sibling).
Time jump.
Park Hae Mi in both dramas -I love her.

the events of the past that was tragic event for the female lead but then once the female and male lead meet and fall in love they help each other fight their problems.
ML and FL start off not knowing about ML rich family.
family/relationships.

Both are incredibly wonderful family dramas that will pull into your heartstrings and reminds you of the warmth of family and that we should always appreciate each other and not take the family for granted.

Both dramas have really nice characters that remind you of the warmth that family provides, and that we should not take our family for granted. Highly recommended!

Family dramas. They give a similar feeling. Also there is who keeps a secret in order to protect the one they love.

Both of these dramas focus on a beautiful couple (with the added bonus of the same actress playing the FL) who are facing hardships because of their secret past.
The two couples in these dramas also face the disapproval of their families while also witnessing those around them slowly get married and divorced.
The two dramas also focus on just how far mothers will go to cover their children's crimes. And how parents can sometimes suffocate their children while trying to help them.
The ML's of these two dramas also both dreamt of becoming famous through sports but both had to drop the idea because of something that happened in the past.

It’s not the same type of drama. However, the storylines of main couples of both dramas are somewhat similar. They both deal with a marriage that has grown bitter in which the men seemed to love the women more and grew exhausted from it and eventually ended up having an affair. The men then regretting the affair and trying everything to get their ex wives back.
