Was it really a suicide or was it a murder? Our homeroom teacher Hiragi managed to keep us on our toes from start to finish. Suda Masaki portrayed Hiragi Ibuki very realistically. Not a boring moment in this drama. This drama also shows the importance of social media and addresses the issue of cyber bullying which is very relevant in today's society.
The characters I liked the best are - The some what narcissistic Takechi Sensei, detectives Gunji, Miyagi, Igarashi, Students Hayato(played by Ryota of Generations from Exile tribe), Usami, Ishikura, Hana, Satomi, Sakura etc... Ryota deserves a special mention because even though he is from JPop industry, he was not self conscious and played Hayato pretty naturally and beautifully.
I would have wanted a different ending but then again the ending the writer chose is also a good one. Music is cool and suits the mood of this drama.
Bookmark it and watch this on your free time, you won't regret it - especially suspense drama lovers!

I really want to like this series but there're some unacceptable loopholes.
I really want to give this series a good score for their strong will and good intention to pass on some important messages that have a social impact, but if I'd be honest to myself, this series still doesn't reach my satisfaction standard.Story [~]
In spite of having strong main plot and subplots, the elements in their main and subplots have loopholes occurring from time to time. And they aren't just some small loopholes that we can pretend to close one eye and let them pass.
The most unacceptable loophole in the plot is right at the end which is the climax. The teacher doesn't want to commit suicide by jumping from the rooftop. He only jumps to repeat a student's traumatic experience when she couldn't help her best friend doing the same thing so that she can modify the outcome by saving him this time. But the hell to that idea! He really jumps and it's just by chance that the student runs to grasp his hand at the last minute when his whole body already dropped from the building. The student is a girl and comes alone, though... There's no way she can help him up by herself if she couldn't do it for her friend. And not to say about running to him in the first place, she might not be able to run or be in time to even catch his hand. The teacher risks beyond the acceptable limit in the process that he claims to help the girl. If he really jumped to death before the girl's eyes as she couldn't reach him in time or especially if he dropped to death after she already got hold of him, the result could turn out to be totally opposite and worsen the state of mind of that student. (In the end, other friends appear in time to help pull the teacher back up, but the teacher never knew other students were to show up esp. it's the last minute.)
Acting [~]
Suda Masaki acts wholeheartedly. Moka and Mei are not so good at acting. Their BFF's happy laughters are so fake. Ryota's acting isn't convincing, either. I doubt that Ryota might not be able to act in challenging roles and be stuck in rom-com high school films/series forever.

the message
this show was super good, sure it was dramatic and even funny at certain times but it gave out a good message about cyberbullying and why we should always think before expressing ourselves, i generally loved the acting of this show (suda masaki the goat) and the rest of the cast WAS SUPER AMAZING, every episode i would either be crying with them or be on the verge of bursting into tears, the emotions were definitely overwhelming but all in all, this show was good and i thank the show for making me see how true this show was in a realistic perspective, that's it for meso everyone, "LET'S THINK!"

I love the concept but I just got more annoyed as episodes passed by.
IDK if it's a cultural thing but there's so much gas lighting by everyone in the show.The beginning was interesting. The teacher holds his whole class hostage to find out what caused his student to commit suicide but as time passes it's later revealed that his motivation wasn't revenge and he just wanted to "educate" his students on how to be better humans. The teacher is represented as always right and he is just a martyr that is sacrificing himself.
the cinematography was subpar and the acting had too much shouting. japanese is such a pretty language and japan is such an interesting country that I wish there were better live dramas.

INSANITY WASTED
Yeah, the words INSANITY WASTED pretty much describes this drama.I won't highlight the spoilers, but all I can tell you about this drama is that it's a waste of time.
This should've been a movie, 10 episodes are far too much for a plot like this.
The drama starts in a cool way but then falls quite quickly.
There's a lack of stability, the direction is poor and on top of that the storytelling is ridiculous.
Far too many loopholes and all of it combined, sh*tty social justice theme makes it absurd.
The writer/mangaka must be high on w**d .
You can watch it , but there's nothing to the plot, it keeps going on in circles.
And by the time you finish it you realize it's just another straightforward plot, twisted deliberately to present it suspensefully.
