A MUST WATCH!!!
Social media/news/network we all love it but as someone rightly said "Everything that has a boon has a curse." This web series shows that side of the internet as well as the education system. As youth we believe and trust internet more than the people we have known for ages. The comments we post, the words we say and the action we act all affects people and ourselves one way or the other and this couldn't have been portrayed any better than in Mr.Hiiragi's Classroom. I loved how from having a one sided hate on the teacher I ended up having immense respect for him and how he taught kids what and how the world works. No stupid romance or extended drama it's just a rat race between kids and one day the race is put to a stop and now these kids need to learn what life and living means. And most importantly how to live.Considerați utilă această recenzie?
I am not great at writing these long reviews, but I really recommend this drama to everyone.

the first japanese drama i watched. i was HOOKED. the amount of times i cried watching this bro, i love the story so much, and it also gives out a good message in literally every episode. so many unexpected things happen, the backstories of some characters for example. i like how it shows how strong words can be and how it can affect someone/their life. the actors did wonderful, it was my first time watching japanese dramas so i didn't knew any of them, but their acting really made me stay. i'd rewatch it more than ten times and i wouldn't get tired of it.

Some nice teaching moments but too formulaic and predictable overall
A school drama with a quite exciting and gripping premise. Unfortunately, the story became very quickly similar to a lot of Japanese school dramas which made the show overall very predictable. Almost all the plot twists were expected. It was also a bit too formulaic with each episode focusing on one healing moment for a given student, some catchphrase and one big speech. A few of the teaching moments were quite profound and could resonate well (especially with a teenage audience). However, there was as well a lot of weaker storylines resolving themselves a bit too easily given the topics treated by the series.I had some real trouble getting attached to the characters (adults as well as the teenagers) and I think it might be linked to the writing. As explained above, the drama was a bit awkward in its approach trying to bring some good feels, to discuss absolution and to provide life-lesson talks. It was sometimes over simplistic and or/too quick to make it totally sensible. The ensemble cast was okay but there was no real stand-out. I also found the acting of the main lead unequal and over-the-top for some part.
Even if it does not revolution the genre, it is an easy watch with a nice pacing and actually taking on some important and societal issues (even if clumsily at some points).
I would recommend this to people that are looking for shows similar to Gokusen and Dragon Zakura as well as to the manga "Assassination Classroom" for example. However, if you have already seen quite a few Japanese school dramas, this might feel redundant.

SO IN LOVE, WILL WATCH AGAIN.
SO FAR THE BEST DRAMA surrounding high school students and touching on the subject of mental health and how words CAN hurt. I started this drama believing the teacher was a nutjob and he had some kind of dark and twisted love for his student and he wanted revenge but later grew to love him and admire him (yes, he took it to the extreme but still.) for the lessons he gave the students. This drama really touched my heart and i was ugly crying through most of it! each actor really ate their roles up tbh and I will def watch again. I love love love LOVE how they incorporated the sides effects of someone struggling with their mental health such as hallucinations as that HAPPENS in real life. The whole group learned a valuable lesson and i found that beautiful. I think the message the teacher fought so hard to get across is a lesson we could all listen to, well should i say, LESSONS. all around a BOMB drama(haha get it?) and i will def recommend to all of my friends. kind of sad I finished it but damn was it good.Considerați utilă această recenzie?
Honestly don’t know if I would recommend this or not.
Took me 3 days but I finished it!I didn’t enjoy it but I didn’t hate it. It was just ok. A little mind-numbing but ok.
I get the idea behind it. I understand that they were trying to make a point but the execution was shit.
did they have to do it in such a way that it felt like I was strapped to a chair and being forced fed the lesson with a wooden spoon riddled with splinters?
There was not a single character that I connected with in this and I didn’t care about the so-called mystery that wasn’t a mystery
The whole thing was corny as fuck and all I could think throughout was “I wonder how many of us didn’t already know that”
The measures taken were overkill for the point being made
The message itself might as well have been written in a banner running along the bottom of the screen in every episode.
this could’ve been a movie
This thing belongs on PBS Kids in their 1 p.m. slot

I especially liked the "realness" of how the students reacted and the psychological aspects, they didn't just hate or like him, they had real raw emotions? their anger and desperation were so amazing, I don't think I've seen anything like that in dramaworld...
I keep changing the rating between 9 and 9.5, if I rate the overall process and plot it'd be 8, but then if it was just the last ep, and those emotions I'd rate it a 10..
my rewatch values are either a 1 or a 10 ;)

My June 2024 Recommendation Challenge
Watch this for my June Recommendation Challenge by Muimui94. Ooff... What a ride.... Never I think watch a drama with so many meaningful things that we can adapt to our own life...The story about one crazy teacher, Hiiragi Ibuki. 10 days before 3rd grade graduation, he gathers his students of class 3-A & end up take hostage of them. His purpose, to investigate the reason of the death of one of his student in class 3-A, Kageyama Reina. He bomb the school to barricade his students from outside world. And from there he launched his own way of investigation about Reina's death.
And by the end of the drama u'll end up understand. That Ibuki's purpose not simply to investigate the reason of Reina's death. But also to give his final lesson for students in class 3-A about their life & simple action that will affect their future & other people.
Below I'll gonna write what I can gathers or my thoughts about Ibuki's lesson day by day... Hope not too drift away from the drama. And I think this this time I write quite save review & not give spoiler about anything too...
Lesson 1: Be careful with ur thought (Kayano Sakura for thinking she killed Reina) & tongue (words sharper than knife)
Lesson 2: When u've lived ur life without listening to people's opinions, u've become a human who couldn't feel anything. Ur little action can corner someone until they feel no way out or make them feel at the highest happiness.
Lesson 3: When there's some obstacles in ur future, there're 2 way out, positive or negative. (+) You either not hating the obstacle or anything that make u jealous or regret about it, or u try ur hardest to beat the obstacle. (-) u put all ur negative thought to it, by become jealous with someone greater than u or hating anything that's obstruct ur way.
Lesson 4: U don't need to carry the burden urself. When u shared ur burden, there will be someone can help lift it up. What u need to do just ASK FOR HELP.
Lesson 5: U don't need to do shameful things or trampled on someone to moving forward or becoming what's ur best self.
Lesson 6: Whatever u put on the internet never go away.
Lesson 7: When people need guidance give it with genuine care & emphatic.
Lesson 8: Think carefully before u act. What we should do by putting ourself in other person's shoes
Lesson 9: If u get stabbed by knife, u'll feel the pain. But today society so busy with their busy life until don't notice those obvious things (the little thing that more hurtful than get stab by knife). The things we did to hurt others, if someone did it to us, would actually hurt us too. Once again putting ourself in other person's shoes.
Lesson 10: Be careful with ur fingers (on keyboard or cyber bullying).
Overall this really one good drama to watch. But be careful too, when ur not ready to watch this, it can stab u the wrong way...

Me vendieron humo

Hands down one of the best shows.
One of the best show's, hands down it really teaches the audience that your actions have consequences either online or in real life I really like how each episode tells a different story of the main students and tells them how to repent or change for the better good so they don't screw them selves over later on in life with the best advice being "Stop, Think, and the answer will appear" best advice and motivation for anyone in life going through a hard time no doubt you might shead tears watching it, if not then you might have already learned a lot of the advice given in the show.Considerați utilă această recenzie?
