IF WATCHING ON IQIYI - My SECOND issue is if you don’t speak the language, have your remote and translator ready. Some shows / services include translating whatever test is shown. Or have voice overs reading text messages. There was a part with almost 10 minutes of conversation on text the iQIYI didn’t translate. So grab your remotes and instant text translators out. You will need it throughout the show.

Did the writer and production crew just quit in the middle of a shoot and walk off without notice?

Cute modern workplace drama

Overview: Ding Yike just lost her job and her boyfriend of seven years but she did win a reality tv show that landed her a job at the fashion company May - the only problem is she has no interest in fashion! Her new boss is cold and efficient, with a mysterious past. And what is up with her pesky downstairs neighbor, who is starting a boutique of his own?

My opinion: I enjoyed this drama much more than I thought I would, and I give a lot of credit to the FL for being so engaging. The ex-bf is unappealing (the drama makes it hard to explain what she saw in him to begin with??) but the slowly unfolding relationship between the two leads was enjoyable. It felt like a Chinese drama take on Devil Wears Prada at times, which I liked. The drama often breaks the third wall, having the actors speak directly to the audience, which I felt helped a lot with exposition. The original male lead was edited out and a new actor’s face was superimposed - it mostly works but there are a few scenes where he looks weird and I think that is why. The ending is abrupt/choppy but the loose plot threads were mostly resolved. The story would have been a lot tighter with 16-18 episodes instead of 24 but I know that’s not typical for Cdramas. Enjoyable but not memorable.

Sassy and smart female lead! is the star of the show!

this drama makes me really like tanfg yi xin. Havent been.a fan in the past. This drama's female lead is so smart, sass, energetic. Willing to love and willing to hate! She is brave.

They did the male lead no justice, but changing his face with technology. The original actor got in some academic scandal and they basically used AI to switch out the male lead's face! The original male lead's face is so much more rounder than the lead, so it hurts to watch him.

Honestly they had pretty good chemistry, sad to see its not Zhao tian lin.

Storyline average.... not super interesting. Its about the female lead learning how to become a buyer in the fashion shows. The process of how she learns and grows/ blossoms!

One time watch

A boy who had a broken up with her girlfriend ,reason that she was not rich and she also not belong to Shehnai so the boy mother not agree with this relationship . That's why the boy broken up with her and move on his life but he was not sure that he had done the correct thing . In whole drama it had shown that he was still love her but because of his mother he had become a coward . To get him back she did everything but he was kept avoiding her or never talk with her properly . In this process she started realising that she has fallen in love with somebody's else . And their love story has started.
But I am not satisfied with the ending .
To see the end I think the drama might have second season
