Hajimete Koi wo Shita Hi ni Yomu Hanashi Episode 7 Reacţii
So enter the new competition. In reality it's to prove Yuri's love to Harumi. That it isn't just because he has a thing for older women who happen to be teachers. He's not enamored from the studying . . . if that's a thing. Though this is one of those times when the "competition" does not look lovelier than the female lead. No really I am not being biased. Harumi is a knock out compared with Momo. Not to mention they look the same age so Yuri's friends are fools! Fools!
It's also obvious that Momo is working it hard. Right away pretending she doesn't know who Yuri is. First of all I"m sure there was already gossip about the pink hair. Not to mention that when she was looking at his file his picture WAS RIGHT THERE! It soon became apparent that she had a checkered past with Harumi. One that has affected Momo her whole life. While Harumi had not been affected by Momo. It was revealed that Momo had a crush on Masashi. (I think Momo was still kind of stalking Masashi.) When Masashi turned down her and Momo was aware he liked his cousin! Bullying ensued. Apparently Harumi's ability to ignore reality is a super power and it didn't even bother her. She just wanted to study. So Momo is out to nab Yuri to "win".
This could have easily bogged down the plot. Instead we get to see more of Harumi in her youth and some of Masashi. Harumi experiences for the first time jealousy. I think she handled it well. Though Momo claimed a age that didn't put that much of a gab between them, even her fake fancy school didn't seem like that big of a deal. Because they both have the same job! After time Momo reveals she was working at a low cram school and decided to become a Todia cram teacher. She taught herself. To be honest Harumi and her on equal footing, but it's who they handled it. Momo even realizes that Harumi is happy. Despite Harumi's claims that she's not. Yuri is tested by how he's not fooled by Momo. He clearly sees her. How she's using her students to worship her. He picked up on her weird arm grabbing and unprofessionalism.
I do wish Harumi could realize that it's okay to be happy after failure. Clearly she still went to a college. I mean waht did she want to do by going to Todia? Hmmmm. Her cram teacher boss guy went to Todia? I just don't get it. I guess it's the fact that her whole life was dedicated to that goal and she missed out on living so she was just crushed. I mean the boss is just happy in his job. Not to mention that evil smile when he twisted the knife into Harumi's back about Yuri wanting to move on to just his new cram teacher! Ha-ha! He's having fun.
Now to Miwa! Miwa and Tsutomu (I think that's Masashi's work friend's name) are meant for each other. They're both lying about who they are, but falling in love. So I think once they find out the truth it will be okay. I mean Miwa is already thinking that he isn't a real dancer. Not to mention Tsutomu has to think that kids' voice he heard is scary!
So apparently Harumi was still in denial. Even saying things like "my baby bird flying away". Even I thought that was a mom thing to say. Miwa pointed out that now that Harumi is experiencing jealousy she might realize who true feelings! Miwa truly knows her BFF!
Because we get that awesome ending! Is Harumi truly waking up!? Yes! On other side notes Masashi became kind of cool, but has no chance. Yamashita has become a very interesting male lead. If only he had a real chance. Because he really is cool. He called that his ex-wife always comes back. Not to mention he knows himself well. I was impressed how this whole episode paced itself and finished. Momo is exposed and her only hope is to help Yuri get is math grades up. Looking forward to how the next episode will go.
