Cinderella Man (2009)

I'm not the biggest fan of Yoona so i was reluctant to watch this drama even though it's lead was Kwon Sang Woo. I'm really glad i ended up watching it though. The acting is very well done. Sang Woo plays both people so well that it makes you actually believe they could be completely different actors. I feel like this drama really deserves more credit than its gotten. It isn't so popular because it claims to be about the two men that look exactly alike where as its really only about one of the men, and Yoona. Definitely worth watching. Very good movie. Make me respect Yoona a lot more as an actor as well.

Wow this drama is really good. I watched this drama after 'Fashion King' . Both deal with similar plot themes, fashion industry, releasing brands, newbies becoming rich etc. But this drama did a much better job.

Story:: 9/10
The story kind of got you hooked, it was interesting and the relationships were kdrama-like, as expected. The plot developed very well, and had some sad parts aswell.

Characters/Actors: 9/10
The side characters that are supposed to make you laugh, actually made me laugh in this drama. The main leads played their roles well, and the main support characters were kniving and devious as expected. Acting was really good in this drama.

Music: 9/10
Stuck to me. Like it :)

Overall I enjoyed watching this drama, it was a refreshing relief after watching Fashion King.

finally its done. this story is so slow from the beggining so many times i wanted to stop watching but i couldnt. up until ep 6 it starts getting better but still not enough to give the overall show higher ratings. i love sang woo but i just couldnt with this drama it dragged. its definitely a one time watch there wasnt anything outstanding in the story line for me to go back to watch. yoona did good with her part though shes a lil quiet and reserved so again nothing memorable. i liked the fabric lady and the loan shark more since they were interesting. the ending was cliche as usual but seriously that was bad. when you havent seen ur bf or gf for a year and he surprise visits you.......isnt it inevitable to run into each others arms and kiss atleast. they just looked and held hands while looking outside the window. ugghhh that was the last straw i was dissapointed.

Cinderella Man (2009) - it's one of the dramas that I would have forgotten if not of this post long ago. I didn't even think about Cinderella in this drama, more likely it's like the prince and the pauper. Kwon Sang Woo being Dae San is so cute. He could really pull off this kind of character smoothly. Seeing Yoona here, probably one of her first acting is also good considering she's an idol. More of like a forgettable drama since it has that pretty average storyline with no wow factor or significant something that I would recommend. This drama tells me that trust is much better than money.
