Story-
Nakamura Aoi's name isn't mentioned (either I didn't hear it or I forgot) instead he is constantly referred to as "friend" by Goyoune, his little kitten. There was quite a nice relationship that the two shared. Aoi played the role of a lonely guy who had dreams of becoming a famous manga artist however had a few issues with it.
Acting/Cast-
The main actor really suited the role, he had such a sweet smile and character when acting with the cat. The cat's voice actor had a cute voice too which matched the cat. ^^
Music-
Songs that played fit with the scene, it was chosen well although I think it could've been improved.
Rewatch Value-
This would be nice to watch with a friend if you're looking for something short and cute to watch. I may rewatch it in the future sometime.

The story was really touching and down to the point. What's more it's told in a cat's point of view on what life is like for it and what bonds are between a pet and it's owner. And that no matter what happens, our pets will always be there for us, through good and bad times. I really enjoyed the acting and the music was well point. Thought the characters did a really good job here.
Overall, I highly recommend watching this film, especially if your a cat lover like me or want to see a film about pets (and the bond with their owners). Also if you like something short and sweet and will tug your heartstrings. Trust me, your going to want to get a lot of tissues. And be prepared. This film is sure to bring good tears in your eyes. 5/5

Warm, fuzzy and furry feels
I did not expect to get so emotional over a 40-minute film about a cat. But if you had a long/stressful week and need a "good cry" and something to boost your faith in the world -- or you just need a break from an emotionally exhausting drama -- this might be for you. This is a slice of life show, and is more about the feels than the plot. Basically, you peek into the every day life of a man and a cat. No crazy exes, time skips, or political manouvering -- just the joy of having someone who is always, unconditionally, on your side.

Restrained & soothing slice-of-life story: expected and not that memorable
This short slice-of-life movie (about 45 minutes) is centred around a young aspiring mangaka and his cat. It is a soothing and sad picture: the flow of the script is kind of slow and lenient, not a lot is happening on the surface but it has deeper meaning than it appears. I found particularly interesting too see the main character living a solitary but purpose-driven life with his cat being his lifebelt. The filmmaking was very appropriate in making us understand the key message, but maybe this was a bit too expected. Indeed, nothing surprised me and I did not find myself emotionally invested in the story. The music was subdue with some peaceful piano notes. What I enjoyed the most was the drawings showcased at various steps of the film and in the ending generic: those were totally relevant and fitting overall.
Still, The main actor performance was satisfying, it was full of nuances and he manages to work well with the cat, which was the central figure of the show. The cat had himself an internal voice and I'm still hesitant about this choice. I'm wondering if it is not a shortcut in trying to provoke emotions to the viewer who is told what to think rather than to show it and letting him free of interpreting it.
I would recommend this to people that like more restrained and quiet slice-of-life story or shows that are involving cats. It is really short, so you will not lose much time trying it.
