ToGetHer (2009)

Momo Chen is a quiet and shy girl with Jia Sen as her only friend. She is often forgotten and left behind. Her only interest is to read her manga, "Prince Kashaba." Mars is a superstar whose popularity went downhill after a series of negative publicity incidents. His finances, as a result, go into red alert and he is forced to move out of the company house provided to him and moves into a cheaper place instead. He is also told to attend school while on down time.
On the first day of school for Mars, he arrogantly signs his name onto one of Momo's manga with a permanent marker over a picture of Prince Kashaba. Momo becomes furious and yells at him in front of everyone. Meanwhile, Mars' manager, Yi Zhi, finds him a room for rent in Momo's house. Momo is unaware that the room is being rented until her sister drops the news on her suddenly after school. Both are unaware that it is Mars who is to be their tenant.

In the beginning Mars and Momo constantly fight but after going through some challenges together, they finally begin to show their feelings for one another.

In one drama explosion and another student murder/suicide

Both dramas star Jiro Wang as an arrogant popular singer that has never experienced love, only to soften as he falls for the female lead. In both dramas the female lead is shy and rather unworldly, and the hero is protective of her, although at the beginning he doesn't understand why he cares so much. Both dramas also show the two leads living in the same house, so both shows feature a lot of sweet cohabitation scenes.

However, Fabulous Boys has more characters, so it develops the side stories perhaps a bit more than ToGetHer. I also felt that the hero in ToGetHer went through more of a change than the one in Fabulous Boys, because apart from falling in love he also loses his popularity, whereas the character in Fabulous Boys never quite reached that level of vulnerability (he was more arrogant and stayed it longer).

Both are romantic, funny and light, with a little bit of drama towards the end (but not too much). Also the actor that plays the manager Jie Ge / Tony Ge is the same in both dramas :p

It has the same main story line! Celeb and a normal girl! But the feel to the dramas are totally different! Anyhow if you watched (liked) one of the dramas you'll love the other one! ^^

Both main lead are a little arrogant but care about the female lead secretly.
Both have various comedic events.

The diference is YB is gender bender while TGH has a school theme and one is Korean and the other is Taiwanese.
Overall both have a cute and sweet atmosphere!!

only one thing that I found common was that both the female leads are shy and bad at expressing their feelings. in the start of the series it is shown that female leads were ignored and lived quietly. Then there comes the famous male lead (in FBND he is popular game designer and in TGH he is a superstar) who changes their life. there is a love triangle and many comedic events so you will enjoy both.
Other than that one is Korean and the other is Taiwanese plus TGH has a school setting. But both are enjoyable.

A capable but unpopular showbiz manager, Kazuko, struggles to groom a younger, new male actor, Ryo, whom she had scouted, into a star. An unmotivated Ryo slowly becomes conscious of the pleasures of acting. Bonds of camaraderie grow, and before long, love gradually blossoms between them.

Both about showbiz, but I love Chin King who plays Showbiz agent/Manager in both dramas. He's funny...
