I haven't laughed that much for such a long time. I wasn't sure if I should watch it or not, but I enjoyed every minute of it, not a dull moment. And the facial expressions of Park Hyung Sik are absolute treasures, he is warm and loveable. I never took an interest in him as an actor, until this show, I couldn't get enough of his character.
Park Hyung Shik as Ahn Min Hyeok and Park Bo Young as Do Bong Soon are perfectly matched , their chemistry is perfect, their acting is spot on, you fall in love with them from start to finish.

If you haven't decided whether to watch it or not, JUST DO IT! you will not regret it

I really enjoy this drama
I watched it because it quickly attracted my attention on an upcoming drama article. The story seem's interesting and funny : a small cute and innocent looking woman as strong as a super hero…I looked forward to see. Plus I recently saw Hwarang with Park Hyung Shik and I wanted to see more of his acting.
This drama is really funny and cute but it also has a somber part with the kidnaping investigation which is well balanced.
I love the 3 main actor they are really good and have a good chemistry.
The couple is so sweet together it's really nice to watch them.
I will probably re-watch it after some time when I want a drama that make me smile and laugh a lot.

their chemistry is peak but anything else? this show is a mess.

from the optics to the content to the writing, to the misunderstanding of what makes a person, particularly a woman, actually strong, a misunderstanding of rape and sex and non-heterosexuality (so it was homophobic), to the weird 'hahah abuse' plotline which they retroactively tried to save when people (koreans obviously! sexism/misogyny isn't some solely elsewhere problem so it's not "culture") got pissed IRL. that completely diminished the drama (along with the stupid homophobia) and its theme of "strong" women by having the wife be abusive to her husband. it's actually embarrassing how stupid you have to be to believe that that in any way evens the playing field between men and women.

it was a MESS. also ji soo is terrible in this just terrible but. you know. fuck him in general.

that being saiddddd, min hyuk is like an ultimate boyfriend and his love for bong-soon is the real draw of the drama. he's actually the best character which is a shame since it's about women...so they say. unfortunately none of these women have ties to other women as much as they should have which...whatever. i don't think it's worth it to slog through everything just for the chemistry. at all. watch cuts on youtube.

what a mess. they're both hot but that'sssssss not enough imo. it's a good time waster and again they're both hot (or "hot") and really cute together at least ? LOL

If you're not sure about watching this drama, let me help you decide. WATCH IT. It will be worth your time.

Although there are not many plot twists, the writers did a good job in preventing it from getting too predictable or boring. It had just the right amount of comic relief to level out all the seriousness and if you're a hopeless romantic, you're going to love the fact that this drama is packed with couple cuteness.

If you're not a hopeless romantic, don't worry, neither am I and I was not that bothered by it since it gave more depth to the characters, which I feel, was a big plus, since non-stereotypical characters have been rare lately. I feel like the writers got creative and made some memorable favorites. Not to mention the amazing cast who did an incredible job in all the settings and scenes.

Yes, there is a triangle (I feel like there always is) but it does not cover much screen time and it wasn't the kind of triangle that makes the drama frustrating to watch. The girl doesn't pace back and forth between the boys. It's a very comfortable change from one love to the other.

I also want to warn you about the comedy. It's very loud and over the top so when you enter the world of Do Bong Soon, brace yourself. It is so worth it though because some scenes were adlibs that the producers decided to keep. Those are hilarious.

With all that said, I don't think I left any important details out....

Story: I really liked the story actually, because it kept me interested to watch it. Some of it was sometimes too much to handle, because there wasn't only ONE story line, but many that made a big one and for some people that might be a bit irritating, but in the end all the loose ends come together, so I really liked it.

Acting/Cast: The people chosen for their roles were really on point. Every character is likable and you get to know some backround of the protagonists as well which is crucial for the storyline. I think that some characters wouldn't have been necessary but that's just my own opinion.

Music: I really really loved the music! I fell in love with the love-song-theme from VROMANCE, omg my sister and I are singing or more humming (we don't speak korean) the melody all the time xD

Rewatch Value: I would definitly rewatch this show, but not too soon, because the storyline has so many strings that it's not an "easy" show to watch because sometimes it seems too much :D But I would rewatch it some day for sure ;)

Overall: Overall I'd say that this drama is very adorable and likeable.

O início do drama é bem engraçado e interessante. Bong Soon consegue nos prender a atenção pela sua personalidade. Eu fiquei encantada pela protagonista, a personagem é carismática e apresenta uma grande vontade de fazer o bem.
Uma das coisas que chama a atenção é a fotografia; todas as cenas são muito bem produzidas e bonitas. O foco principal no drama é o amor, não apenas aquele entre casais, mas ao ser humano. Fazer o bem, ser útil, dar o seu melhor e contribuir como puder para o bem-estar da sociedade ao seu redor.
Algumas coisas não ficaram muito bem explicadas ou poderiam ter sido melhor embasadas, principalmente no final. O elenco salvou muito o drama, eles seguraram segurar muito bem. Embora a história não seja bem desenvolvida, vale muito apena assistir pela mensagem passada.

Tem um elenco maravilhoso, mas...

Li uma resenha em outro kdrama que dizia:
"Hoje em dia eu não tenho medo de "dropar"uma série só porque todo mundo gostou. "
Então aqui está um kdrama perfeito que se encaixa nessa fala, dropado por mim literalmente!!!
Li tantas indicações e tantas resenhas positivas falando que o romance era maravilhoso,
que caiu na minha "maldição de expectativa" foi "broxante". E eu me esforcei pra terminar!
Achei muito chato do meio pro final, que história sem graça foi aquela?
O que adianta ter tanta força, se não sabe usar? Eles destacaram a "Burrice" da personagem, que ela era inocente demais!?
Me poupe, que amor infantilizado, muito fracooooooooooo!!! Todas as vezes que eu via o Jin Soo despertava um
sinal de alerta, uma áurea sensual e máscula atingia o ambiente!!! Bati palmas pra ele mesmo com todos
os dilemas e problemas de mídia um tempo atrás sobre bullying na escola quando mais jovem!
Todo mundo erra, eu consegui assisti o ator sem julga-lo ( E quem sou eu pra julgar?)
Voltando ao kdrama a personagem vira heroína no final? Poxa vida!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sei lá, pensei que ia ser casal com o ator Jin Soo acho que é pq só conhecia ele como ator nesse kdrama.
Resumindo, kdrama mediano,sem roteiro, nada de especial. Vou dar uma chance ao meu coração para
o ator Park Hyung Sik em algum outro Kdrama pra poder realmente saber se a atuação convence.
Se a personagem feminina da atriz Park Bo Young estivesse virado uma investigadora clandestina,
ai tinha me conquistado, deixou a desejar com aquele história de sequestro e um cara louco tenho
certeza que ficaria bem melhor. Enfim uma história principal sem graça e sem doce. Mediano.
