Heart to Heart Episode 1 Reacţii
Heart to Heart would have impressed me more but scenes cut in and out abruptly. Mucking things up pretty bad into a sloppy mess and taking me out of the story. Thankfully the story isn't too ambitious in the first episode.
I do like all of the actors introduces so far, and it's clear that I'm going to be rooting for the "second male lead", Doo Soo. And no it's not because he is a freaking-heart-throb-of-epic-proportions, his character is genuinely the better guy at this point. The first male lead, Yi Seok, is horrible and completely unlikable. And I have a hard time believing any amount of writing will fix that in a 16 episode time span. Especially since Doo Soo and female lead, Hong Do, have history. Er, kind of.
Hong Do captivates me. From her unstoppable blushing, her social phobias (I know there's an official term for it that they use), cooking, and her love of books. She clicked with me and I'm looking forward to getting to know her. I enjoyed at the beginning that both Hong Do and Yi Seok's childhoods and growing up are put side by side together so we can get an idea that way.
Because nothing else is given. Such as why does Hong Do dress up as an old woman to work? Her blush doesn't show then, why can't she wear makeup at other times then? Hmmm? This episode does more for Yi Seok then Hong Do. Here's hoping that the next one will be more enlightening, AKA better writing. Overall I love the tone of Heart to Heart, it's very compelling and while the story is barely taking off here it has caught my attention.
