Oh! Pil Seung And Bong Soon Young

It was exhausting to watch Soon Young bouncing between two men for 16 episodes. Jae Wung annoying and unlikable character, I'm starting to hate the actor the more dramas I see of him. Yoo Jung surprisingly remained good and graceful without going in an intense square.Considerați utilă această recenzie?

It had a good and entertaining start but the middle parts were really slow, unfanny and boring while the later parts were too melo and soppy and the ending was meh. The cast was fine but Han Ga In once again doesn't know how to pull a crying face.Considerați utilă această recenzie?

Han Ji Hye great as always but...
Unnecessarily long for such a simple story, the comedic moments weren't good enough to fill the gaps. There wasn't much chemistry between the leads. Do Kyeong was just too weird see him hanging around, his character needed a re-write to better fit with the other leads. And then there's the ending...Considerați utilă această recenzie?

Did they really need to include a love hexagon in the plot? It definitely wasn't needed. For a simple plot, they to over-complicate everything to the point where they ran out of time to tie everything. It's unbelievable how weak and wimpy the female lead was, the worst character and the drama which also had little to no impact despite being a lead.Considerați utilă această recenzie?
Bad
I want a magic trick to make this show vanish for how bad it was. Speaking of magic, there was like a total of 3 magic tricks in the entire drama.Considerați utilă această recenzie?

I never hated the trope of "girls like bad boys" more than the one in this drama. Absolute cringe! It overshadowed every other element and sucked the life and enjoyment out of the drama. If we stripped all the relations and human drama then it's an okay medical drama.Considerați utilă această recenzie?
Okay...
The story centers around Wuri's love yet we barely got to see Da In, her scenes were too limited. Maybe because she's a Japanese actress? How are we supposed to get this great love of theirs if their scenes together are too scarce? Anyway, this created a big disconnect in contrast to how much we see Tae Shil. This also limited the drama in many ways and didn't allow it to get outside the scope of whatever was written in the synopsis.Considerați utilă această recenzie?

Barely watchable...
I couldn't stomach most of the characters and pairs even though it's a lighter drama. Might be the worst iteration of the trope "friends to lovers after dating a handful of other people". This resulted in making the drama unnecessarily long and uninteresting because you were watching a relationship after another that was guaranteed to fail. The musical parts sucked and never was fitting of the scene. I don't know why they wanted it to be partially musical. Aside from few funny moments there wasn't much else to it.Considerați utilă această recenzie?
Okay
It was obvious what kind of route it was going to take. Given the circumstances and how it was structured from the beginning, it made sense. This is definitely not for everyone due to the subject but the writer did a decent job handling it over 17 episodes which felt like the write amount it needed without being over stretched. The cast also did a decent job to fit in their character.Considerați utilă această recenzie?

Watchable, maybe...
It's a love story yet they failed to establish the first steps of love. Were they even in love? The leads lacked chemistry anyway. Bae Yong Joon didn't give off any romantic vibes. Kim Hye Soo was always quite and soft spoken unlike what we used to see of her empowering personality. They tried to provoke sadness and tragedy but none of it had any weight because of how under developed everything in this drama. The entire last arc was off putting and underwhelming. Feels like a waste for a 44 episodes drama that couldn't accomplish much.Considerați utilă această recenzie?

This isn't a "must watch"
Don't watch it from Netflix/Disney. They cut off minutes from every single episodes. Get the TV version instead. The mystery was dull and its only driving force. There was a need to build up a better case for the importance of the victim before diving in. Once the mystery was revealed, the disappointment settled in. Was this the best they could come up with for the reason behind the death? I was expecting something grand and much darker other than this wacky ass nonsense. The cast performance was decent enough, there was an attempt. Especially with this serviceable production. Go Ah Sung, Kim Myung Soo and Chae Soo Bin were all offered roles but all declined and it seems for a good reason.Considerați utilă această recenzie?
No!
Kai made me realize the true meaning of life and love and that is not to watch his other projects. This drama was purely a promotional piece for his non-existent acting career. They didn't have anything to serve the viewers so they went the terminal illness route.Considerați utilă această recenzie?
Very Good!
Actually great revenge drama! I was expecting an entirely different plot with the twins but the root it took was fine as well. Great characters, banger OST and does what a revenge drama needs to do. The first half was great but the second half was too slow until the last couple of episodes. The ending needed to be tighter, things were all over the placed and disorganized. Maybe they bit more than they could chew for how much they crammed the last 2 episodes. It's better than "Lucifer" and "Shark" that's for sure. The drama had the chance to be a certified classic but it needs a lot of fixing and clean up.Considerați utilă această recenzie?
Almost
I loved the unhinged scenes every now and then, the actors put all their might into them. Then comes the ending, to say it's bad is an understatement. It was done purely for shock value. It doesn't serve any other purpose, not even an artistic/poetic one. Straight up wasted which really unfortunate because the drama was decent.Note that this drama is 16 episodes + 4 extra. The extra episodes were completely useless and irrelevant to the main story, just some cases of the daily life of a loan shark and can be skipped.

Good-ish
The first half pre time skip was a lot of fun but then it got serious and sucked out all the fun out of it. The relationships in the second half weren't good enough to compensate that. A lot of pointless push and pull that always led to a dead end until they reach the last scene of episode 16 to change that. Kwon Sang Woo did a fantastic job, he was the perfect embodiment of his "trust me bro" character. Unfortunately, again, they tuned down his character in the second half. The same thing can be said about how chaotic Chae Rim was in the 1st half.Considerați utilă această recenzie?
