T (Student): Pisaeng

B had a crush on this girl but because he was too cowardly to confess, the girl ended up marrying T. 10 years, B is extremely unhappy with his life, until he gets a magical snow globe that can send him back in time. B decides to use the globe to get the girl he wants. After trying a few things including preventing T from being her secret buddy, B returns to the present to see if anything worked. To his shock, the only thing that changed is that T suddenly confesses to him at he and that girl's wedding. Knowing that T has a crush on him, B goes back in time once again and try to get T to tell the girl the truth and accept his own feelings. Even though at that point he still couldn't accept T's feelings, he was still open to being friends.
Middle: B has yet to give up on making things perfect or ending up with the girl. After changing a few other things B returns to the present and finds himself famous. The girl is marrying some someone else and he lost T. He realizes after that day he actually cared about T more then anything else. T even proposes to break up with B if it can help him but B refuses and tells T to simply enjoy the present and what will pass will pass. T goes back to the present and is told B recovers. The series ends with them happy together, discussing future wedding plans.
**My Opinion**
WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT
- I really like the concept of the show. It's time travel with a twist. The plot might appear predictable at first but there are numerous lessons to be learned about being in the now and not let needless thoughts about the future make your current life a mess.
- I like B and T's interactions. This is not really a fluff show but it is real and their interactions are adorable and full of love. While there are not many intimate scenes, the actors do a great job in conveying the characters mental state to the audience.
- The acting really is good, not only from the ensemble cast but from the main characters. Sure there were moments where acting isnt as good, but key moments, everything was on point. The main characters really do have chemistry together.
- I like how this show tackles the issue of discovering ones sexual orientation. The revelation part is very realistic and I love how supportive Ts mother is.
- I love how the angst doesn't come from misunderstandings. The main angst comes from not knowing who you are and what you want and the pain you cause others while you struggle to find out.
- The writing is very good. This is a complicated topic because B goes back in time numerous times, which can easily make the narration confusing. However the author sis a great job at explaining all of this and don't make you wander just what is going on.
- The pacing is really great. You are always on the edge of yourself wondering just what will happen next.
- I love seeing how much insight we got in to both B and T's personality and insecurities. Not only that, their characters have also developed quite a lot through out the series. B has grown up emotionally and learnt how to accept that nothing will be perfect but you can try your best. I love how these two are always there to support each other.
WHAT I DIDNT LIKE ABOUT IT
- There are a lot of talking, which can get a little boring. But I did like the characters talking things out instead of emoing on their own. However the communication isn't perfect but it is a start.
- I love and hate the time skip. Love because it shows an accurate depiction of what happens to couples after they spend years together. After the honey moon is over, the love is still there but it's more subdued. B and L aren't constantly in each other spaces. They have work and other things to worry about now. They are still together more as friends and life partners. Hate because it's not very fluffy, it pulls you away from the BL world where everything is sweet, to the real world.
- I feel bad for the girl because the two boys she ended up liking ended up dating each other. Her role is simply that of a tool to help these two realize their feelings. At least she is given a small arc instead of throwing her away once she was no longer needed.
- There is a lack of buildup explaining why T likes B. Everytime B asks, T says it's because B's cute so it's naturally to assume that T first liked B for his looks and then this feeling turns in to something more after they start spending time together. It also explains why at the beginning T doesn't seem to upset that B is still chasing that girl.
**Conclusion**
An interesting time travel story.

Simple Predictable Bl
**Brief Synopsis**B (Student): Pran
T ( Student): Pat
Beginning: B and T are rivals because their parents are rivals as well. However one day they decide to stop fighting and exchanges numbers, starting a friendship. The more time they spend together they more they start to see each other's good points. Even if at the beginning B is not all that enthusiastic about spending a lot of time with T even if they called a truce but T is insistent, always there. They start thinking about each other when they are apart. Despite this their relationship is slow because T still seem to like girls, talking to different girls. There is also a girl he likes. B is obviously not too happy about it but still doesn't know why he's feeling that way. But before he confess to the girl, he realizes he likes B and goes to find him. Because he doesn't know what to say and is confused about his feelings, they kiss but the whole exchange ends up on a sad note with B leaving.
Middle: Despite having not confirmed their relationship, something has changed. They stated flirting more, getting more intimate and even made a bet that whoever first falls in love loses. But B soon gives in, using the excuse that he needs Ts help on a play. They start officially dating at that point but in secret.
End: Before they could have their happy ending, they are discovered by their parents and they have a big fight. B and T run away together, not wanting to break up. When they come back however, the parents obviously softened so in order to give them some time, B and T pretend to break up until graduation. Eventually the parents finally gave in and they became lovers again. The series ends with a few years after graduation showing B and T's life. Although they are still together, they aren't always together as they have to go on business trips. This is a realistic ending that gives us hope they will stay together for the rest of their life.
**My Opinion**
WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT
- I really like their cute little interactions. Even if they cant be obvious about their relationship but they still finds ways to show affection. I loved the scene B gives T his shirt.
- Although the ending is bittersweet in some sense but I like how realistic it is. And since they are still together and their parents have accepted them in some way, I count this as a happy ending.
- I like how the girl T used to like for her own happy ending. The show didn't treat her as a simple tool.
- I like the efforts they go through to convince everyone they have given up. Although it's sad they have to do this but the boys actually seem to enjoy their situation.
- I really enjoy the fact that these boys actually communicate and solve problems together as a couple. I'm happy to see two lovers despite their parents refusal still finds a way to be together while finding ways to get their parents to accept them. They don't give up for one of them doesn't run away. I'm glad the angst don't make them break up.
- The leads really did have great chemistry together. They do a great job in making the affection between B and T realistic and believable. Although there aren't many intimates scenes, we can still feel their love.
WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE ABOUT IT
- The plot is very predictable and cliche. Everything revolves around their relationship. If you aren't interested in that them the plot is very thin and boring.
- The family drama is also predictable. I actually liked the part where they try to find out what made their parents fight but unfortunately nothing came out of it.
**Conclusion**
A simple relatively angst free BL.

Lack Of Communication
**Brief Synopsis**B (Student): Third
T (Student): Khai
- Beginning: T and B are students at the same school. T is a player, changing girlfriends quickly. B is in love with T and is used to T's antics and accepting to simply be a friend until T starts prioritizing girls over him, ditching him to go on dates. The first half of the show is B sad over T's actions.
- Middle: After a while, B bad enough and decides to distance himself from T. T realizes this and starts missing B's presence. Just as he thought he was only missing the friendship, he sees B with someone else and feels hurt and jealous. He then knew he liked B in that way. However B isn't that ready to accept him. T perseveres, slowly softening B.
End: Before they could have their happy ending, a misunderstanding undoes everything T has done up to this point to soften B. He tries to explain but B won't listen. Their friends takes B's side. This would have continued if it wasn't for the fact that B finds out that all their friends has ditched T for a trip related to their film project. Feeling bad that no one has told T, he immediately goes to find him, and they talk, explaining the misunderstanding. B finally decides to forgive him. The series ends with them together.
**My Opinion**
WHAT I LIKE ABOUT IT
- The acting is pretty okay from the main characters and the ensemble cast. It doesn't feel cringey or seem awkward.
WHAY I DIDNT LIKE ABOUT IT
- The plot is predictable and cliche and full of overused BL tropes. The writing is just boring, the whole store simply following a set formula. It's not a fluffy show; it's frustrating and annoying and should have been alot better if the main characters simply talked more invested of simply sitting there in silence with their mouth open. for example the misunderstanding at the end, when B have him the chance to explain clearly, he didn't. B had to hear the explanation from a common friend. It's frustrating seeing them not talking and end up fighting again.
- The characters aren't likable and the main couple shouldn't have gotten together. From what I can see, they don't fit with each other at all, and dating would certainly lead to more heartbreak in the future. T is a jackass and B is afraid to tell anyone how he is truly feeling. Together they will end up fighting again for some other misunderstanding.
- Its way too dramatic for my tastes and it's only drama. There isn't an underlying plot. Everything revolves around romance. Because nothing really happens to the characters, when the romance doesn't attract you, the show simple becomes boring. The drama is also boring and feels useless. Its always the same thing over and over again.
**Conclusion**
A series of angst stemming from a lack of communication. It's a show I won't be revisiting.

Interesting Story with A Great Premise
**Brief Synopsis**B (Writer): Gene
T (Actor): Nubsib
Beginning: B is a BL write whose series is getting a TV series. During the casting for this series, B meets T, a new actor interested in acting one of the male leads. From the start, T shows a lot of interest towards B and even asks the help of B’s friend, who just happens to be his manager, to convince B to let him stay at his loft. Because T says he has no place to live, B agreed. As they start living together, T tries numerous ways to flirt with B, including asking him for help rehearsing lines and then kissing him in the name of practice. Slowly but surely, B starts to feel other feelings for T as well.
Middle: While their relationship develops, T continues to act in the drama he had auditioned for, the one based on B’s book.
End: Before they could have their happy ending, there are three obstacles. First while on a trip to his family home, B realizes that T has lied about everything, that he was actually his childhood friend and that he actually had a place to stay. Devastated, he tells T to get out, but T doesn’t. In the morning, T explains to him the reason he lied was to get B to stop looking at him as a kid. Although B ends up forgiving him, he still asks T to move out so they could start afresh. Apart from this problem, the couple also dealt with letting their parents know about their relationship. Finally, on a trip to the beach, videos of them being intimate on the beach is uploaded, making fans of the upcoming series furious that he wasn’t single. In order to save this show B and T are ordered to stay apart for a while until it dies down. B knows its for the best so despite how sad it was making him, they stopped meeting up for some time. The series end with them getting back together.
**My Opinion**
WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT
- I like how they showed how a BL show is produced from casting to final marketing. I like how the ensemble cast isn’t too cringey or awkward.
- I like the plot a lot, because it’s new and not everything is focused on the relationship. Apart from the relationship, the whole series production thing is also very interesting to watch.
- I really like how the main characters looked together. They are a cute couple and the way B shows affection, careful and sweet, is just heart melting. Sure B is gloomy most of the time but when he smiles, normally because of T, it’s extremely sweet.
- The editing was nice and the pace was nice. It’s not too fast or too slow and their relationship feels well developed and not rushed.
- I like how B isn’t thinking T is cheating on him.
WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT
- I didn’t like they spent a lot of time developing a het relationship.
- B can get a little gloomy but that is part of his personality.
- I didn’t like how many characters they tried to develop.
- There is a lack of intimate scenes, and kissing scenes are weird because they give a detail look of the kiss and its obvious it’s fake kissing, I would have preferred if they only showed it from afar.
- Acting can get a little too much, especially when it comes to side characters. They tend to exaggerate their moments, making certain characters rather cringey.
- This is really slow burn as they officially get together in the last episode (they get together earlier then that but there were always things threatening to split them up but now with everything resolved, they are together).
**Conclusion**
This is an adorable show with an interesting plot that should be given a chance.

Simple Mindless Love Story
**Brief Synopsis**B (Chief’s Son): Seon Yul
T (Farmer): Ye Chan
Beginning: B was once a music student but had to give up for family and personal reasons. T is a farmer, living in a village B visits to get away from the city. Because T is enthusiastic and friendly, they start spending more time together working on the farm. Soon T finds himself falling for B, and when he confesses and B rejects him, he vows to make B fall in love with him. At first B doesn’t seem to know what to do with him but slowly he starts enjoying his closeness.
Middle: Thanks to T, B starts music again and finishes a son, something he is very grateful for. After spending more time with T, B finds his heart starting to change as well. He finally kisses him.
Ends: The story ends with B going back to the city to finish his song and coming back after he’s done. The show ends with them back together again.
**My Opinion**
WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT
- I really like T’s innocence. When his heart first started to race in B’s presence, he first thought it was some kind of sickness. He’s very straight forward with his affection. He’s not shy to follow B around like a lost puppy. He even encourages B to take up music again.
- No angst at all. No misunderstanding, no lack of communication, just two boys falling in love.
- I love B’s secretive smiles when he think T is not looking. He obviously finds T very cute.
- I really like to see B and T together, they make a super cute couple. The acting is great and the other members of this community are very cute and lively.
WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT
- This story lacks depth. The plot is simple and angst free, but it is also pretty boring if I you weren’t too interested in the main couple’s relationship. Nothing really happens. It’s obvious the writing didn’t take too much time.
- There is no intimate scene, just kissing.
**Conclusion**
A simple, mindless love story.

Hilarious and Fun Show
This show tells the story of a “straight” man who discovers that he was living in a BL world. All around him are boys falling in love and BL tropes happening. However, despite all of this, he is determined to find himself a girlfriend. The story focuses on him trying his best to escape all BL tropes and not become a “main character”**My Opinion**
WHAT I LIKE ABOUT IT
- The premise of the show is so unique that I absolutely loved it. I haven’t seen anything like it before and the show delivers on their promise perfectly.
- The acting is absolutely hilarious. The MC really goes through a lot of emotions and he depicts them perfectly. Tropes that we might have found super romantic in another show just seemed hilarious in this one because of the MC’s reaction to it.
- I really like the MC’s little brother. He’s really cute and his romantic story is hilarious because he has 3 people pining for him.
- This show is extremely funny because it applies BL logic to real life and the MC is a normal person witnessing all this and trying to adapt. I like how he can write out a BL story in his head just by seeing someone for about a few seconds.
WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT
- I really didn’t like the MC’s love interest because first, there is no build up, just instant fall in love. And that love interest kisses another guy in season 2 before deciding MC is the better choice for him. He’s not good looking and he’s just not likeable.
**Conclusion**
This is a hilarious series that you need to take a look.

Simple and Fun Show
**Brief Synopsis**B (Editor): Jeong Ha Yeon
T (Writer): Yeon Seok
Beginning: B is an editor and T is a writer under him. This isn’t their first life together. B is the reincarnation of T’s lover in a past life. T has been searching for him for a long time and has only found him. At first, he is disturbed that his lover has been reincarnated as a man, and acts extremely cold and rude to B because he is confused as to what to feel. B, on the other hand, was instantly attracted to T and even applied for a job as an editor to work with him. Thus, he is saddened by T’s attitude. Just as he thought he had made a mistake and runs away, T realizes he doesn’t want to go through life without him, catches up to him and confesses. B agrees to his confession.
Middle: They spend time together as a couple and is happy for some time. They might not be super intimate but it is obvious from witnessing their interactions that they really care about each other.
End: Before they could have their happy ending, B accidentally saw the picture T keeps of his past lover and realizes that he was only the reincarnation of her, which was why T had confess he loved him. He confronts him and asks him if he really likes him right now or simply likes the girl in the picture and he is a replacement. T, not having had time to think about the details, is unable to answer and B, saddened by his lack of response, breaks up with him and runs away. T tries to find him but to no avail. And when he does find where he is, he runs in to B’s friend who tells him that B has agreed to go to the States with him. Shocked by this news, he leaves before seeing B. For 1 month, he remains in a state of sorrow until he hears the news that B is going to leave that night. Knowing he can no longer wait, he catches up to B before he leaves and begs him to stay. The series ends after he confesses he likes B as a person and not replacement for anyone. They reconcile and happy ever after.
**My Opinion**
WHAT I LIKE ABOUT IT
- I like the concept of reincarnation and past life. I like this show’s premise and in general, I think they delivered on what they had planned to deliver.
- The actors playing B and T are really good looking and look great together. They also have great chemistry and they do were depicting sadness and confusion. When ever I see B cry, it really breaks my heart. He really cries beautifully.
- The angst is introduced in a novel way. Sure they plot is predictable and from the moment we see the picture, we know what role it will serve, but for once, it’s not angst because of misunderstanding or lack of communication. It’s because both characters did not truly understand what they were feeling.
WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT
- The plot is predictable and without memorable moments. It’s full of cliche BL tropes. If it hadn’t been for the rather novel concept, this should would have been rather boring.
- Some plot points doesn’t make sense. Why did T leave before seeing B after hearing he was leaving for the US? Why doesn’t he make an effort to find him before his departure date? He catches up with B just before he enters the car. Any later he would have missed him.
- The acting might feel a little unnatural in certain scenes but that’s mostly for the ensemble cast. The main leads do a great job at displaying the character’s emotions, which is crucial in a show like this.
**Conclusion**
An okay watch that won’t be revisited.

A Somewhat Faithful Adaptation
**Brief Synopsis**B (Student): Sena
T (Actor): Ryo
This is a somewhat faithful adaptation of the original manga. B is the son of an extremely affluent show business family but he, unlike his siblings and parents, don’t want to become a part of that. Instead he wants to become a mangaka, even if he doesn’t have any talent.
WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- Sena is really cute. I really like how he looks and it makes me happy to see him on screen.
- I like how they changed the ad to become same sex marriage instead of having Sena cross dress again.
- I really like the ending where they tell the press they are dating.
WHAT I DON’T LIKE ABOUT IT
- Ryo looks like a creep most of the time. He’s really not that good looking, which doesn’t make sense because he is supposed to be some kind of big superstar.
- The non con part where Ryo forces Sena’s shirt off him to confirm he was really a boy. This part is extremely faithful to the manga, but I never liked it.
- The acting is horrible. The crew tried to add all the extra-ness seen in the manga here but it just doesn’t work. A lot of things work in the manga because it’s a manga, but when it translate to the screen, it’s just awkward and cringey.
- There is no build up to this relationship and the show gives no reason why we should root for this couple.
**Conclusion**
This is an adaptation we could do without.

Interesting
**Brief Synopsis**B (Freelancer): Cher
T (CEO): Gun
- Beginning: The sorry takes place some time after the series end. B and T have been together for some time with T moving in to live with B. From the beginning, we could see that the honeymoon stage was over as the love between them was more subdued. Now the focus was back on daily life rather than their relationship. T is still the CEO and has gone back to his extremely strict self, something B was surprised to see because T usually didn’t act that way in front of him. The story starts when the company’s employees tell B that T was going too far and there are employees wanting to quit.
- Middle: B tries to get T to relax and no matter what he does, it doesn’t seem to work. Finally he gets the idea of becoming CEO for the day so that T can understand what his employees are feeling. Throughout that day, B tries to act as T-like as possible, and T experiences being scolded and being ordered around. He then learns how to better deal with his employees.
- End: The series end with T apologizing to the employees and thanking B for keeping him on track. He then tells B he’s not only his lover but his life partner.
**My Opinion**
WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- I love B and T’s interactions. They are so funny. And I love T going along with B’s craziness. Even if T looks as if he is constantly questioning B’s sanity, he still do whatever B tells him to do. This is how they show affection.
- The exchange places plot is pretty funny. Seeing T having to take a bike because B took his car was really interesting. Later seeing T struggling to do basic office stuff (things he hasn’t done for a long time) is really funny.
WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- This plot, while interesting, is something that could only appear in fanfic or novels. In real life, it just won’t work. For example, we can see that B as CEO spent his entire day playing games. T has been saying how busy he was. If B doesn’t do anything that day, he would have to catch up on the work later. Also what normal employee would have the courage to order their boss around. Even if the boss tells them he won’t get revenge later, they still wouldn’t dare.
- There was a distinct lack of intimacy between B and T. This is realistic because the honeymoon phase is over and they don’t need to be constantly all over each other to show affection. Besides, T is under a lot of pressure at work, which means he doesn’t have too much time for love. Like other stories in this special, the focus has gone back to life’s struggles instead of relationship troubles. Although I am disappointed, I do not count it as something the series didn’t do well.
**Conclusion**
It’s really nice to see the couple once again.

Cute Followup to the Main Series
**Brief Synopsis**B (Teacher): Tian
T (Village Chief): Phupha
This story takes place a few years after the end of the series. B and T have been living in the village for some time now and enjoying life together and working. Things change however when B has friends from the city coming in to visit him. B then has to go back to the city for a celebration. T is invited to join him but he refuses. At the end however, he still makes a way to the city to give B a surprise. They go on a date; B buys cloth for T and they have diner with B’s parents. The story ends with them kissing.
**My Opinion**
WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- I appreciated the moment when B introduced T to his parents, especially the opportunity for T to engage in a meaningful conversation with B's father. Witnessing the transformation in T's parents throughout the series was heartening, and I'm glad to see them evolving positively for the sake of their son.
- I have mixed feelings about the special not being as fluffy as I initially expected. T and B have been together for quite some time now, and it's only natural that the honeymoon phase has passed. While their love remains strong, it has evolved into a more subdued and mature form. Instead of passionate intimate scenes, their affection is expressed through genuine care for each other. It's a realistic portrayal of a long-term relationship, yet I can't help but wish for more of those heartwarming, fluffy moments.
- They have excellent chemistry and their kissing scenes are so good.
WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- It’s a little short. I would have loved to see them be more loveydovey.
**Conclusion**
It’s really nice to see the couple once again.

Great Rewatchable Story
**Brief Synopsis**B (Student): Fei Sheng Zhe
T (Teacher): Shi Yi Jie
- Beginning: B is a student at the university T teaches at. B is also taking care of T’s daughter after T had helped him some time ago. At first T only cares about his work and not his family, but B slowly gets him to change and get him to come back more so he can spend time with his daughter.
- Middle: As they start spending time together as a family, T starts to realize that he wants B as a partner rather than a simple nanny. He immediately tries to find out what B is thinking and once he is sure B feels the same, he confesses.
- End: T gives B some time to think it over but tells him that he won’t accept no for an answer. B does finally agree to date him after he told T about his past trauma. But before they could have their happily ever after, T’s ex wife appears and isn’t too happy about their relationship. She tells him that T will get bored and reminded of his past trauma, B runs away. T catches up to him and forces him to believe that he will not leave him. The series ends with B and T married and starts life as real husbands.
**My Opinion**
WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- I love how healthy this relationship is. Things are talked out and thanks to T, no misunderstanding takes place. When it comes to relationships, sometimes you just need to put aside all embarrassment and say how you are feeling. If T had hesitated, this show would have been a lot more angst.
- I really love the visuals of seeing them together. They also have great chemistry together, making their intimate scenes really hot.
- I love how their relationship developed. The little girl is also adorable and adds to their dynamic.
- I love the ending after they have gotten married. I’m really happy to see a society where all relationships are accepted.
- I love their interactions and how T takes care of B, mentally and physically. You really can feel the affection between them.
WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- The acting isn’t really good at times, making it awkward to watch.
- The editing makes it look cheaply produced.
- It was way too short, but at least the plot doesn’t feel rushed.
**Conclusion**
I loved this show so much and will rewatch it again for sure.

A Breath of Fresh Air
**Brief Synopsis**B (Student): Aoki
T (Student): Ida
- Beginning: B and T are students of the same class. During the first quiz of the year, B forgot his eraser and have to borrow one from a girl who has a crush on T. This eraser - with T’s name and a heart on it - was seen by T, making him think that B has a crush on him. B wants to explain but after the real owner begs him to keep it a secret, B pretends the eraser it’s his own. T promises that he will think it over seriously. To do so, he decides to start spending more time with B, who ironically actually falls for T.
- Middle: But before T gives him an answer, B tells his best friend about his situation and his best friend, without even waiting him to stop him, drags him over to T and explains the who misunderstanding. B finally is confronted by said best friend and he admits his feelings for T. His best friend encourages him to confess. During a school trip, B finally confesses to T who suggests they should start dating. B, not wanting T to date him without liking him, does not agree and tells him to think about it.
- End: They start spending more time again together but before they could have their happy ending, T still has to confess his feelings. B is also unwilling to tell people they were dating which hurts T. But B was doing it for T’s sake, something he doesn’t understand and has a fight with B. The series ends with him finally understanding that B was doing it for his sake and that he actually loves B; he confesses to B and they start dating for real. The last scene is a reminder of the first scene where B asks for an eraser, but this time T gives him one and on the eraser, we see B’s name with a heart.
**My Opinion**
WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- I absolutely loved the concept. It’s different, it’s new, it’s refreshing. It’s also very well executed. It’s not too long and not too rushed. We see the character’s emotional journey and how they got to where they are in the finale. Although there aren’t a lot of build up but whatever is there is good.
- I loved the ending, it’s a throwback to the first scene and shows the audience what has been changed without telling them.
- I really like how B and T looked together. B is hyper and T is very calm. Their personality matches together perfectly because T really likes B’s little reactions.
- The writing is pretty nice. Sure the plot is full of school drama cliche tropes but they aren’t dragged out and gets to the point. Each scene serves a purpose.
- I really like how serious B is about this relationship. Even if he was super happy that T asks him out, he wants to make sure T has the right reasons to date him, which is an extremely mature decision.
WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- The acting is truly horrible at times. Reactions and expressions of anger or joy are exaggerated and unnatural. Sometimes the acting is too plain, emotionless and other times way too exaggerated, borderline cringey. Like many Japanese drama, some actions often seen in manga and anime are reproduced in real life, which makes them extremely cringey and make people wonder about B’s mental state. It is not normal for a high school student to hide inside a garbage bag because he was emo.
- The romance is really slow burn meaning things progress really slowly. This show focuses on the relationship so there is no intimate scene, not even a kiss. But even without those scenes, there is no doubt they care about each other.
- B can be very extra at some times. I really hate the exaggerated facial expressions he makes at times, which makes him look really ugly.
- I’m not really happy that the angst is because of misunderstanding. B and T do their best but they still lack communication which is why T doesn’t understand why B doesn’t want to let other people know about them. Just talking it out would avoid a lot of problems.
**Conclusion**
This is an okay watch with an interesting concept that you should give a chance.

Forgettable
**Brief Synopsis**B (student): Zon
T (student): Saifah
- Beginning: B is a normal student with a novel writing hobby. However his novels aren’t really good. His life is normal until he learns about BL from his sister and the fact that people at school ship him and T. He’s naturally confused and annoyed, because he finds everything about T to be annoying as hell. T is his rival, someone he always fights with every time they meet. But for some reason he keeps having dreams about being a couple with T and he keeps seeing gay couples every where, making him start doubting his own sexuality. He keeps thinking homoerotic thoughts regarding T. He thinks it’s because his sister made a vow for his BL novel to come to life and that vow was coming true.
- Middle: He tries everything to avoid his fate but despite his best efforts, T starts appearing more and more in his vicinity, constantly teasing him. And little by little, B starts softening up to T, no longer yelling at him every time he sees him. He even invites him to his room. But the more time he spends with, the more he overthinks, over analyzing every of T’s actions and comparing them to his sister’s novel. Normal actions such as helping a friend dry his hair becomes romantic in his mind. He tries to run of course, but the more he tries to run, the more T wants to tease him, such as jokingly telling him they slept together when nothing happened. And slowly, B starts to get used to T’s actions, starting falling for T.
- End: The series ends with them starting to date and promising each other they won’t break up.
**My Opinion**
WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- The actors look really good together. They are really funny together. Their interactions are adorable.
- I love how B keeps overthinking everything and comparing each action to what usually appear in BL novels, basically convincing himself he was in a BL novel and he was going to end up sleeping with T. This is such a novel way of falling in love. No matter how much he resists, nothing will change. It’s adorable how he thinks he can prevent his relationship with T from going further. It’s not made easy by the fact that the more he tries to run, the cuter T finds him and the more he wants to tease him.
WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- The acting isn’t good. Scenes outside romance just feel plain and off. The characters don’t act like normal people (their movements and reactions seems exaggerated) and when they show emotions such as anger, it is not believable.
- The editing is really not my cup of tea. There are cheesy music and unnecessary sound effects to everything, making certain scenes look exaggerated.
- The cliche and predictable plot. Outside romance related stuff, there really isn’t a plot. Nothing happens really to the main couple. The secondary couple seems to have more of a plot but I wasn’t interested in them.
- There aren’t many intimate scenes for the main couple. The side couple does have some.
**Conclusion**
This is an okay watch that I won’t revisit.

Censored Snoozefest
**Brief Synopsis**B (Bodyguard): Yuan Zong
T (Rich Kid): Xia Yao
- Beginning: B is an athlete and T is a rich kid. They are from two different worlds. Their universes collide however when B’s sister as B to approach T so he can ask T if he would consider her and T’s sister asked him to approach B so he can ask B if he would consider her. At the beginning, B really didn’t like T, but end up having to spend more time with him.
- Middle: As they spend more time together, they start developing feelings for each other and starting a relationship.
- End: The series ends with T saving B’s life by getting B out of well. They both end up in the hospital but reconciled.
**My Opinion**
WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- I really like the concept of enemies to lovers with an added twist.
WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- The acting is just terrible. It’s so awkward and cringey to the point I really don’t want to watch anymore.
- The plot is super boring and the show is censored in many ways to make it more bromance than BL.
**Conclusion**
This is a show I will never touch again.

Nice Show
**Brief Synopsis**B (Student): Type
T (Student): Tharn
- Beginning: B and T are roommates but T is gay and B starts off as homophobic because of a past experience with a molester. B doesn’t like T because he’s everything he doesn’t like in a person, but T is attracted to B since the beginning and is determined to stand his ground. Despite B’s open hostility, T is determined to stay, especially after finding out the reason B is so against gays which makes him feel bad for teasing B and making him think they slept together. He starts being nicer to B, comforting him and taking care of him in his time of need. Because he is so nice, B starts feeling bad for hating him.
- Middle: As B starts not being so against having T nearby, his feelings for T starts to change. T continues to show his affection to B and confessing to him on a regular basis, but B, despite knowing that T wants to sleep with him, isn’t so against it as before. The change is obvious despite B never admitting it out loud. It’s even more obvious when B agrees to sleep with T as repayment for T helping him out numerous times. After that, B stops being so against T’s PDA or intimate touches and would even kiss T when he notices that he was a little down. Despite not being officially boyfriends, they start getting extremely intimate while alone. They also start being sappy and missing each other when they are apart.
- End: Before they could have their happy ending, T’s ex appears and he wants to break T and B up. He keeps appearing near T and made B misunderstand their relationship. B eventually has enough of feeling like shit second guessing everything and breaks up with T, which really breaks T. But he didn’t really want to break up with T, he wants T to see the ex’s true colours. And when he did, B apologizes to T and confesses his love. They reconcile.
**My Opinion**
WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- I like how T changes and learns how to take care of B. I really like the scenes when B is unconscious and T is taking care of him. Just by looking at his smile, we can feel the affection he feels for B. Although at this point it’s mostly physical attraction but it’s still pretty cute.
- I really like the straight guy getting confused because he starts being attractive to another guy trope. In real life, sexuality is fluid and you aren’t 100% gay or 100% straight. Love is without gender and you can fall in love with anyone. I like seeing young confused boys figuring themselves out.
- I really like B’s shy little smiles at T’s PDA when he thinks T isn’t looking. I love how much B changes over the course of the series.
- Their relationship develops really fast and while some might consider this too fast and lack build up, it’s nice we don’t have to wait until the last episode. They’re daily as a couple are adorable and they look great together.
- I really like how sappy they are when they are part, missing each other and smiling in to their phones. It’s just so sweet.
- The chemistry between the two actors is just insane. They really look as if they are in love. You don’t need intimate scenes to show their love.
- The crying scenes are really good. Especially the reconciliation scene, it was very emotionally impactful.
WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- The non con. In the beginning episodes, T would kiss B and touch him without his consent, something B actually seems to be distressed about. He immediately stopped when he found out about B’s past trauma, but that didn’t change the fact he kind of forced himself on B. Although the intention was probably to disgust T and make him freak out, but that doesn’t make this okay. After that there are still moments of dubious consent but T stops if B is showing distress, but when he is only telling him to stop but his body does nothing to push him away, he continues.
- The acting when B is having a freak out is really bad. I know it’s very difficult to act out a freak out nightmare scene, but still, the acting is really unconvincing and it makes the scene awkward to watch.
- I didn’t like the plot with the girl. B starts chatting a girl because he was still a little confused about his feelings at that time and gave the girl hope he is interested. When he inevitably breaks it off, the girl seems extremely sad. He had been intimate with T at that time. It seems extremely dickish to involve an innocent girl in his messy world.
- Use of misunderstandings as method to introduce angst and conflict. For example, B finds out that T has an ex boyfriend he didn’t divulge, leading to conflict. It’s even worst when a friend tells B that he has seen T at the mall with that person. He doesn’t give any context, making B think T is cheating on him. Later on, the boy in question forces himself on T and B sees, although he knows T didn’t do anything, he is terrified by how much T can influence his emotions so breaks up with him. They reconcile but still the reason for the break up is just lazy writing: the ex causing the conflict and brings two lovers to break up.
- There is mention about T being assaulted in the past but no more mention of that is made as if there aren’t any consequences to that.
- The acting is really not good from the ensemble cast, especially in the crying scenes. And sometimes their interactions can feel unnatural.
- There is a lack of intimate scenes but that’s normal for shows of that time.
**Conclusion**
It’s a nice show but it has its problems.
