Cute but that's about it.
Hmm what shall I say, this one was somewhere in the middle between Tossara (which I rated: 7.0) and Love Mechanics (8.5+). It was not a “blow your socks of” kind of Drama but it wasn’t bad either.
Let’s start off with acting: both actors did a solid job portraying their characters, I definitely bought their chemistry a lot more than with the Tossara couple. It’s hard to say a lot more about their acting, since there weren’t really any scenes that would have allowed them to show their potential.
Both were nice on the eye though.
Now the plot:
Well there wasn’t really much to it honestly, they we’re a really cute couple and I think a longer Series with room for a little conflict and relationship development would have done them a huge favour. I had my moments were I honestly wished it could last a little longer, because the characters and the story in itself were not bad at all. However, since it was limited to three episodes it was a little hard to connect and there wasn’t really much depth to the whole thing.
One more thing that this one for me did a lot better than the other two was: the telling of time and in general the continuity of the whole story.
This was one major problem for me when watching Tossara, since it was in no way shape or form indicated how much time was passing, and there were a lot of plot holes, characters jumping from one mindset to the opposite within what felt like 10 seconds. This was a little better in Love Mechanics, especially the holes in the plot part, how ever time telling was still rather confusing. This is Lovestory however, did not leave me confused at all. I still have no clue over what course of time the plot took place but it honestly didn’t matter for this one either, so it was fine if you did not know whether everything took place in 3 days or 3 years. There were also little to no confusing plot holes or anything like that.
Let’s say this one is a cute series to watch in between when you’re looking for something light and easy to watch.
