BTD is a variant on the noona office romance where the FL scouts the ML and they work directly with each other as a team. Big difference is the in BTD, the FL is initially married and has a kid, in FY the FL is romantically inexperienced. But both dramas have competent FL who are genuinely nice people (although that isn’t immediately apparent in BTD, it becomes so midway)

Both th are about 30+ FLs who are established office workers and good at heart. Both have families that don’t stress them to get married. Both have a one night stand with the intern working in their office as well as a second pursuer who older, rich and a CEO type. The FL are older but completely inexperienced in love. The second male leads take in the roles of love coaches as they learn how to love the tough their relationship with the intern.

Both involve a noona romance where the FL is in a position of authority over the ML (ie boss or teacher) and knows a relationship with the ML is inappropriate. Find Yourself has a FL who has no experience with love. In Biscuit, the FL’s first love was her own teacher back in high school, who no works as a colleague in the school she’s teaches at. The central focus of these two is slightly different since FY centers on the aspects of learning to love through the relationship. Biscuit focuses on the love that grows from friendship/mentorship and takes a really long time for the FL to accept the ML.

Japanese dramas with very very similar vibes, but different plots. Both are slow burn older woman/younger man dramas that put two people from different walks and stages of life in contact. Through their joint experiences, they becomes friends and confidantes.

Both are sports centric dramas with ensemble casts that round out the story lines. The main couples are really well matched in personalities and are really good friends that eventually become more.

The plots of these dramas a are very different, the into thing that was similar was vine from both. In both dramas, you have an older married woman (or recently divorced as in OML) working with a younger man and finding commonalities as they get to know each other. Both are slow burn noona romances.

Both Japanese dramas have a couple that involves a married older woman and younger man. In Bijo to Danshi, the pair are working together professionally in the entertainment industry vs Golden Bowl which has two people with separate lives who only met because of their hobby of bowling. The couple begin as bickering enemies, but slowly become friends which eventually becomes more. Both shows have an ensemble cast that are warm and endearing.
