This drama start good, middle a little bit boring, & the ending seem like anti climax for me.

Typical drama with icy general meeting witty woman, they fall in love, having problem, etc...

Funnily for me the drama became boring after they go back to capital. I don't know the story just makes me bored. Maybe because they don't take one side problem, either general & his court problem or wife with her problem. The challenge is not deep enough maybe, just a little bit touch the surface here & there. So when it reach the ending or supposed to be the peak of the problem, I've already quite bored with the plot.

Truth to be said this drama have some unusual plot. Like the king that don't want to be a king, the Princess Consort who is very good to her husband Concubine's child. Not many drama who don't using this kind of plot, usually the Consort is the one who very evil to the Concubine's child.

What most funny & the most unique in the drama just when the emperor & his brother throw thrones at each other. Usually they struggle to take the thrones for themselves, not throw thrones at each other & finally they give the thrones to, also unwilling but have no choice, Chu Xiu Yuan / An'er.

Overall this drama quite fun to watch but if you have something more interesting in your list i guess not watch is still ok...

Never expected i'll gonna like this drama or gonna give this drama such high rating. This maybe one of the most calm atmosphere drama i've watch so far. What that mean...? It doesn't mean they don't have turmoil or problem, but simply the problem isn't like a 'big wave' or they just resolve it calmly. But even though this is a calm drama, this isn't a boring drama.

I think this is the first drama that i watch where both of the main lead have very calm character, they aren't too emotional or outgoing, both main lead mainly have the same character, they don't use opposite attractive kind of relationship. But for sure both of the main lead are persistent but honest & passionate.

What i like about this drama:
+ They talk about dream. Achieving dream never about easy. The dream in here talk about 2 thing. 1 is about business, build a start up business never easy, but with friend support you can go. 2 is about love, how to finally get approval from xia lin xi (LX) mother.
+ jiang zheng han (ZH) & LX love never too passionate but we can see their love each other deeply. Xiang Han Zhi who played as LX still quite young, so they don't shoot too much affection between LX & ZH. But i'm always happy when they don't have too much affection scene, because it's actually show us love doesn't always need to be express by affection [sorry i have old school mind :)]
+ the true friend atmosphere sometime really can make us cry.
+ you always can't see the book by its cover kinda situation happen here. When LX can see past what people want to see about ZH, she saw the truth about ZH character.
+ ZH & LX both have the childhood friend that they 'abandon'. Usually just one of the couple that have childhood friend. & I Like how the way they ending the childhood friend relationship, even maybe it's a little bit cruel in one side but really a necessary action that we sometime have to do in that kind situation.
+ show us every person have dark personality in us. Like Shi Ying & Qin Yue that do stupid thing because of 'love' or jealousy. They both are what people see as very bright/brilliant people, but they also have dark moment in their heart.
+ They still remind us that our character is still students afterall. It's so funny when they already launch their company & the company is also successful, but they still back to library back to the reality that every student still have to take, named test. ^_^

The relationship between the character that I actually don't know to put this in (+)/(-) about in this drama:
• ZH & LX: It's like they love really can go trough everything even without need too communicate with each other. Like when LX have to go abroad to study for 2 year without even tell ZH, but ZH is not even angry to LX. A little bit too good to be true actually.
• Chen Yi Chuan (YC) & Gu Xiao Man (XM). Just plainly stupid. YC is really one of the most stupid character that i've watch, he is the classic stupid man who already used to with XM being around him that he refuse to admit he love her. But in my opinion what YC do to XM a little bit too unreasonable. If i were XM i'd gonna punish him more.
• Chu Qiu Yan (QY) can even forgive & married with Xu Zhi Li (ZL). If i were QY after what he did the whole time, i think i'll never gonna able to see pass that. That's a really questionable character that i can't tolerate. So when QY still working with ZH against ZL, but still being together with ZL as a couple... It's already beyond my understandable how a person can do such thing.

Overall i really enjoy this calm but mature enough drama. Re-watch: yeah maybe just some scene

This is the first drama that i dare to give grade before i even finished watching ^_^. Really enjoy this drama. This drama is so flully, funny & but also a simple drama with not many conflict... But of course they still have their shortage.

Yeah every fans of put your head on my shoulder (PYHOMS) will gonna watch this, because it's like alternate universe where si tu mo & fu pei became together. But can i said you have to watch this because of that reason....? No, not really. In the PYHOMS i don't really like fu pei & this drama for me is also set in far more mature setting than in PYHOMS. But put Fair Xing & Daddi Tang together in this drama really the right decision, they so suitable together, maybe more suitable than with Lin Yi that played as Gu Wei Yi in PYHOMS.

What i love:
+ I really like Wen Shao Qing (SQ) character. Oh he really so sure to wait for Cong Rong (CR) without sure will CR have partner or not, yeah we always adored this kind of relationship, don't we...? Because in reality this is really seldom happen to us or anyone ^_^. What i love about SQ not because of that though. He sure can protect CR, but he also sometimes love to tease CR.
+ SQ & CR chemistry. They so perfect together. I love how the writer not only show us the happy side but also show the downside of them, Yeah yeah i know don't all the drama have it...? I mean i love how the writer show us SQ show his weakness to CR when there is lawsuit against him, he's not try to hide it from CR. CR herself also show she sure can & will protect & stick to SQ. Really love the speech in their wedding.
+ They not delay or prolong the plot with the twist in CR & SQ childhood story or even love rival. They just quite to the point in this aspect.
+ Zhou Cheng Cheng (CC) & Wen Rang (WR) is really sweet couple. Sometimes you don't know what hit you until it hit you. Really funny how in the end CC became CR 'aunt'. One of the funnies dialogue that i've watch in all the drama so far is the word when WR propose to CC: "when we have kids our kids will gonna called uncle/aunt & we win"
+ SQ grandma is so funny.
+ Show us doctor problem not only about life & death of the patient or just about the sickness but also sometimes there is complication with the patient family.

What i see as shortage in this drama:
- Do they really have to do the internship in the company / hospital where they have to manage...? i don't think so. Normally it's supposed still in the company where they do the internship, don't they...?
- Why the intern (not even doctor intern) wear white coat, doesn't the coat specially for doctor only...? When CR wear doctor coat, i already raise my elbow.
- Why CR must get the evidence herself...? When she ask for Xiong Jing Jing (JJ) for help i think she will gonna ask for her to get the evidence instead ask her to replace herself at the court. It's like the writer just impose emphasize how important SQ to CR, but logically it supposed to be more realistic if JJ to get evidence & CR to go to the court or just wait until tomorrow, does it really have to be today...?

Overall this is a good but simple drama with no much drama in the plot :P. If you look for this kind of drama you sure will gonna love this drama like i do. Re-watch...? Definitely love to re-watch this drama :D

Can't stand

Oh my gosh i can't stand watch this drama. A little too cruel for me. At first i think i can stand watch this in the name of curiousity to find out is Song Jae Hee really Han Seung Hee or not. But turn out i really can't stand it & i just jump it to the end to find out the ending.

Although i can't stand to watch the episode until the end, i have to admit this is one of best drama i've watch.

In this drama we can really see & feel that love is really not just happiness or promise or about other bullshit. But love sometimes really need prove & the power of faith. Never i've found in any other drama that have love like Park Hoon love for Han Seung Hee.

Re-watch...? No thank you. See Park Hoon struggle and sacrifice once is enough ^_^

Yeah I can understand why people find this drama kinda boring. I myself pause it for several times, not because bored but merely because I have to watch it in download version while I sometimes travel & not convenience to bring it with me ^_^.

For me this drama instead of boring it's more like you can see a lifetime of someone & how everything changes in lifetime. So, no I'm not so bored watch this drama. But funny thing toward the end I find myself a little bit bored with all the drama in this drama, maybe it's just too political for me.

In my opinion this drama divided into 3 part. First part, of course where they falling in love & made the family, but apart of that this part also about how to revenge & overthrow the prime minister. Second part, the peaceful time. The last part is about when they already became king & queen & also about the political time of the royal family.

Is this drama too long...? Maybe. Sometimes I think they actually can shorten this drama in the middle part. But sometimes I think this drama just fit the way they are.

But of course there is some part that i don't understand:
1. Why Yang Li Hua must hate her mother [Du Gu Jia Luo (JL)]
2. Why Yuchi Rong must make JL into the bad guy in her mind about what happen to her family. What happen to her father & brother is because the stupidity of themselves.
3. Why Yu Wen Hu still insist he wanna be prime minister instead king when the first king dead. This doesn't mean he didn't have the ambition to became king, because we can see in the end of his life, he indeed have the ambition...

Overall: Good drama where we can see everyone develop their own way in this drama. But doesn't really need to be include in list of watch drama. Must compare it with dugu legend ^_^.

Watched this drama because deng lung and angela baby played as couple. Wonder how they act together.

This drama actually classic plot where the female lead too good to be a person. The plot circle about Zhen Zhen (ZZ) make a difference with the people around her. Shao Peng Cheng (PC) change from arogant brat into better person because he want to be better man for ZZ. Hao Mei Li change from a woman that only care for herself into better person who care about her co-worker. And also some of her client that ZZ 'interfere' with their live.

What i like about this drama:
+ They show us sometimes when reality hits us, no such thing as first love or love at the first sight can always fit with us. ZZ & Jing Ran (JR) is the example. ZZ is alrealy long time fall in love with JR, but when she became couple with JR & all the problem rise to surface she not hanging to that feeling but she can choose to let go.
+ Every problem of the family quite relatable with us.
+ every character grow into mature or better person
+ love rival not so crazy

What i don't too like:
- the plot a little boring. I pause this drama for several times too.
- ZZ sometimes too good to be a person. With her personality in the big cities... Hm...

Overall: this is a good drama, but i don't know does this drama have to put into your list or not.... Re-watch...? Nah, don't think so.

What is destiny...?

What is destiny...? Sometimes destiny are something so simple like in this drama, sometimes is something so hard to get like other drama. In this drama, we can see destiny is so simple. The one destined to met will be met, the one destined to be together will be together.

What i like:
+ The love rival not so crazy. Shi Yi (SY) or Gu Wei have their share of craziness, especially SY. But eventually they're not doing anything too crazy or doing it too long.
+The drama quite short but also quite compact so this make us not too boring to watch or wait for this drama to end.
+ Shi Meng and Fang Yan quite lovely dovey in a sweet way.

Overall this is a good drama to watch with their own share of funny & romance. And yes maybe i'll gonna re-watch some sweet scene.

After watch this drama i can say i'm not a fans of Zhang Ya Qin. Watched her 2 drama, i say her expression only like that everytime. I don't know is it really just her character or what, but for me her expression is kinda plain. Sorry for all her fans.

I kinda like this drama, for me this drama give some point that quite different than other drama. But after i read review write by drama_addict_123, i think what (s)he writes quite makes sense. Like: the sisterhood between the character, the problem that resolve too quick, the love rival. Yeah for you who don't like too complicated plot maybe glad this drama quite short, but yeah like drama_addict_123 write, so much potential that they not write into the plot.

What i like that different from other drama:
+ Qi Nian (QN) obviously from the first episode chase Ji Yan Xin (YX). But when YX finally agreed to date QN, she still takes time to say yes, even though the reason is because QN can't believe her ear or QN need reason why YX could like her. Try to imagine ourselves, when we like someone and already chase them for quite sometime, when they agreed to date us isn't our answer immediately agreed with them, maybe before they change their mind :p
+ When YX take QN for marriage license. I don't know why but usually i kind annoy with his way, but here i think it's quite romantic & maybe funny ^_^'.

What i like:
* This is quite short drama, where every problem solved quite quickly and not complicated.
* Every couple in this drama, they quite fit together.
* Just like greenteaberry write in their review: 'there's no draggy plotline or crazy second male/female lead who's here to ruin it for everyone.'
* The different in YX attitude, he just immediately change his attitude after being together with QN.

Overall: this is light drama to watched when you bored & just to looked for something to watched. Is this drama you should watch? No, not really. There is still other good drama with good story to watch. Do i regret watch this so i say this is shouldn't include in your watch list...? No, i not regret watched this drama. Will i re-watched? Hm... Not think so.

Have you ever meet someone on the first sight you already can said she is a snake... Ou Yang Qing Xue (QY) is this kind of woman. The first time she appear I already said she is a snake and turn out she is a very dangerous snake... ^_^

Opposite from 'The Drama Worm' write in her/his review, I can't too blame Su Nian Feng/Xiao Feng (XF) for just leave the house or angry to Su Mu Yun (MY) after hear what QY said, however blood is thicker than water right. If this's happen to me at that age, maybe i also will be throw tantrum, leave house..? Yes probably. Why...? Because it's a shock news. Can you imagine who you think your family turn out the one who cause your real family dead... Angry of course, absolutely. Don't know what to do, don't know how to face my 'family'. So yeah i also probably will gonna run away from home, cooling myself down. After cooling myself down then I can think what's the truth beyond all that. If this happen to me at more mature age, maybe I'm not gonna throw tantrum, but more calm & analyze better.

I notice some force or you can say the stupidness in the plot, but i can't say it's a plot holes:
* When XF have problem, the one she call is Le Di Yin (DY) not Liu Zi Hui (ZH). Usually when we girl have problem, we more comfortable talk with girl than man. Especially when we need support, just like XF really need support form her friend at that time. It's just like the writer want to force the love triangle between DY-XF-MY
* Where is DY dad? Why when he return from America his dad not follow him back... Who pay for DY hospital bill after he back from America...? Did DY dad agreed to all the treatment he receive...? I know he is consider adult at that age, but still that kind of procedure I guess you still need family approval or at least family support.
* Relationship between XF & DY is so weird. They became best friend who support each other so fast. It's like they only know each other for 1 year & then XF does all she can do to help heal DY. Yeah I know DY is XF first friend or whatever. But it's just 1 year & you do that willingly. If that's me, nah i'll never did that for a friend that i just know 1 year.
* XF like have all the time in the world. She is a med student. She's supposed to be very busy with her study. But here she still manage to find the time for do part time job, which is also very busy, do research at her final year.... So great right....
* They got all the money in the world to spend for XF. After XF angry to MY parent who pay for her tuition, did she just accept the tuition from MY parent even though she mad at them...? This is never even been an issued. Like that what they supposed to do. After XF bakery got problem it's just like they don't care anymore. Not trying to fix it or at least try find a way to make it can be open again. All that money to open the store just gone like that. But when MY need money to start his business he have to go here & there...
* After all the hardship through med school XF just notice doctor it's not for her because she can handle a patient died in her operating table. Hello... What the hell r u thinking ..?? Don't you know doctor is a profession that need to face with life & dead...!!! Oh yeah i forgot they never even shoot when XF study med actually. Just first year in the classroom & when she wrote her essay in the final year. Maybe that's why XF never even realize that doctor is a profession that need to face with life & dead.

What plus is this drama:
+ DY turn out a very good friend. The writer never forced the love triangle between DY-XF-MY.
+ Like 'gotasdearcoiris' write in her/his review. At first XF is so submissive, but in the end she learn how to stand for herself

The worst plot ever to justify what the reason for everything QY did to XF. Can't the writer write better reason for the selfishness of QY except she must have everything that she want. Please.... QY just meet MY once, when QY just little kids & after adult QY know MY in one glance & then decided must have him.... Please.... And after that many years of obsession you can just let go in a blink of an eye after go berserk in one night.... Worst plot ever.....

Overall: This is actually quite good drama. I'm not bored watch this. But do I recommend you to watch it... Hm.... Not really. There still many good drama out there.

Vin Zhang so cool....

One word for this drama. Wow... I've never been more enchanted by Vin Zhang. Vin Zhang here is so cool... At that age played this kind of role & be this good is really something.

One thing this drama plot is not conventional, where the male lead (ML) is a good man. Here is the opposite the ML is the bad guy in the drama. Seeing how the ML never change until the end is really something, usually they became better or good man in the end. How the ending of this drama also really perfect. The ending gives me chill...

I also like dilireba here. She's not acting cute like her usual drama. In my opinion she and Vin Zhang give their best performance here.

I also like the romance between Gongsun Li / Lady Li and the king / Ying Zheng. How the hate became tolerance and eventually became love. The acting between dilireba and Vin Zhang also very supple, because they already in a lot of drama together so no awkwardness here.

But sometimes the more i think the darker this drama became. When we really want to take time to ponder the plot its actually the psychological condition where the victim became depend with the kidnapper, sometimes they became 'fall in love' with the kindapper ^_^.

So if you looked for drama that different from usual drama plot watch this. This is a very good drama to escape from boring plot. If you also looked for romance, this drama also offer that to you, enough romance but not too overwhelm. If you fans of dilireba and Vin Zhang of course you have to watch this drama, give you new perspective to them. ^_^

Mermaid story wanna be

First of all this drama actually quite interesting. They kinda smash typical drama about past connection, past relationship, etc...

This drama reminding me of mermaid story. No, not little mermaid, but the real mermaid story where the prince falling in love with other girl, not the one saved him from the ocean. Because in here Ye Fei Mo (FM) also recognize the wrong woman who saved him from the ocean. But this is still drama where the real heroin & prince in the end lived happily ever after. :)

What i like from this drama:
* They not to make the plot too complicated with the story of how FM looked for the girl who saved him from the ocean. This is what i mean with smashing typical drama about past connection. Usually they will make thing complicated with the love rivalry between Han Hui (HH) & Wen Xiao Nuan (WN), the story will be surround how HH make FM keep remembering about how she saved him, etc... But in here no. Just as much as needed. :)
* The friendship between FM & Gu Yun Zhou also WN & Wang Jia Yi. The friendship where they build morale of each other.
* FM's mom. She is funny & witty. Like some of the writter here, she is also the one I like the most in this drama

What i not too like:
* Even though i like they not make thing too complicated with the story of how FM looked for the girl who saved him from the ocean, but if only they make it surface earlier it will be better. They only bring the story to light at the really really the end of the drama.
* The duration is too short. 30 min each ep is too short.... :( :p

Overall: This is a good drama. Quite entertaining, some scene make me cry & laugh. But somehow they also make me fast forward several scene even though the scene are the important scene, especially some last episode. So yeah good drama but of course not re-watch material.

I'm kinda drop & fast forward this drama. For me this drama quite interesting in the beginning, but somehow Idk why but the more toward the ending the more bored I am when watching this drama. Funny thing, I drop this right after Xing Yue & Gao Zhen He became a couple. I just watch the ending to make sure what i guess in the beginning is correct or not, turn out everything just like i guess in the beginning.

Bored maybe just like Sammi write in their review, kinda bored how the Female lead just the way she is until the end, without development at all. Or maybe because I can already guess where the story will develop, so nothing surprise me.

So yeah.... Watched this drama if you are the fans of the actor not for the story.

Drama about family

So many times i though to give this drama a try or not. And thanks GOD i finally decided to watch this drama. This drama is one of the most complicated family problem which you can relate yourself to one of the family in here. If you still hesitate to watch this, don't!!! Just jump right in & enjoy the ride. I guaranteed you never gonna regret it :)

This drama about family, love, friendship & how to face your darkest fear. ^_^

This drama about 2 young boy rescued by a little girl & her dad, rescued from their darkest time in their life, the little girl became beaming light for 2 boys & together with her dad they make a family for 2 boys.

What i love about this drama:
* Family is everything you need, to support you or just to be there for you. Family is not only about blood related, but also about the connection we have with the one we called family.
* In family, especially parent, you can't always hide the truth in the name protect them or just better for them if they don't know the truth. I'm talking about He Zi Qiu (ZQ) & his mom. When everything come to light the relationship between them became better.
* They not delay the ending of this drama even though in my opinion there're several problem not solved yet. The most important is ZQ relationship with his dad.
* They never really forced for the second couple to be existed, just like several drama. The funny thing the second couple turn out to be Li Jian Jian (JJ) dad & ZQ mom. ^_^
* They showed us the care is not only belong to mom. Here the dad, with their own awkwardness, really care about their child.
* They not too complicated the love triangle. It's just as much as needed.
* They showed us 3 stages of the main character, childhood, teenager & adult. They not just skip it, especially when QZ & Ling Xiao (LX) have to go abroad, but still give us the process from teenager to adulthood.
* My most loved quote from this drama: everyone will be matured by a blink of an eye, but everyone's time is not the same.
* Every cast is really good & really fit with their role. Love every single cast. Want to know, just read ChineseDramaFan review, (s)he write beautifully about every character in this drama :)
* Last but not least really really love the song in this drama. One of the best soundtrack.

What is lack in my opinion:
* JJ never really explained why she choose LX not QZ. Is it really like QZ say, just because JJ just love LX from the first time they meet, or is it because like LX say he kinda forced his way or what...? In my opinion this is just the screen writer choose the one needed JJ the most between QZ & LX, but never really explained to us the process of it. It's just in one episode LX forced kiss JJ & the next episode they already together. it's like they actually have something in the middle to explained it but doesn't include in the final cut.

Overall: Really hope for another season, because i think this story not done yet :p.

Extra episode not needed

Can you imagine you as a woman but you can't cry...? I as a woman imagine myself can't cry really difficult & maybe nearly impossible. Because as Yuan Shuai (YS) said in the drama, as a woman we sometimes cure ourselves with tears. So yeah, as a woman, I feel really hard not be able to cry. Sorry for all the other woman who are not agreed with me. :)

So yeah the story itself already kinda intrigue me to watch. Plus It's kinda interest me with different style of Leo Luo in acting after I saw him in Ashes of Love. ^_^. Quite happy to watch this drama. I can see Leo Luo in friendly, kind & protective person, very different from his role in Ashes of Love. Some scene also make me full of laughter, especially when YS meet Jiang Jun (JJ) mom, very funny...

This drama is about love, ambition and family background. Why family background...? Because in this drama we can see how our family actually effect us without we realize it. Be patient... I'll explain what I mean :)

For me one of the most interesting part in this drama, apart from the plot & romance between the couple, is maybe Li Xiao Chuan (XC) theory about 100% match love couple. Yeah every one of us want to meet our 'soulmate' which better if (s)he is our the 100% match with us. Why...? Maybe as we can see in this drama with 100% match between YS & JJ they have more common with each other, which we hope can more equal or have more interest with us so we will have fewer argument etc. But of course not all of us have meet our 'soulmate', sometimes we meet our 1% match like XC & Xu Li (XL). Can it be work out? With 1% match like XC & XL we have to work harder for our relationship than with 100% match like YS & JJ. But in the end, as my opinion, whatever level of % match with our partner, neither can be work when we're not put our heart in there ^_^.

Ok. Back to family background what I mean in earlier. Our main antagonist is Du Lei (DL). At first he finally sick of his family who kinda teach him to do everything in order to get everything (i kinda forget but something like that). At first his heart feel kinda guilty for what he did to JJ's dad. But in the end we can see, he still do the same stupid action that against the law, like what he been taught from his childhood, even though he doesn't like it.

I drop the star in the story because I think the last 5 episode is really not needed. This drama could end up at 30 or the most 32 episode if they tightening the story. The last 5 episode is only to show us the real color of DL & extended romance of our couple. If the story end at episode 31 it will be really beautiful & perfect, really doesn't make sense to extended it until 5 more episode. Very disappointing there.

Overall I actually quite enjoy this drama. This drama quite funny & sweet & I like to re-watch some episode. But do I suggest you to watch...? Hm... If they ended it at episode 31 I'll gonna say with wholehearted to watch this, but the last 5 episode quite bother me. So if you want to watch the actor in this drama, you want to watch funny & refreshing drama you may watch it, but not watch it also not really something you miss.

One good movie about cooking & family. Every family have their own story & regret. This movie tell stories about regret, dream & family. But in the end, family is the most important & for family it's never too late to apologize.

Every actor play their role very good. Although I already guess the end of the story, but there's still some stories they can tell us.

Weirdly although this state this is south korea drama, but all the artist, language, even cooking nothing represent Korea, all represent china ^_^

Overall: for you who like to watch show like master chef, top chef or anything cook show related, this movie is for you. Just watch this.
