The storyline was off the chain unbroken! Choi Jin Hyuk, this South Korean actor is tall and very handsome. I loved him Family Gu as well. Jo Dong Hyuk, Jung Hye In, and Park Sun Ho I would love to see all 4 actors in a continual story. I loved all four and I feel have a great connection to make a team in fighting corruption in another Kdrama. All the actors/actress is awesome in this storyline. BUT, Park Sung Woong is also in The King -Eternal Monarch, he sure is busy playing someone evil... the only thing his character in Rugal and The King are similar. Why is that? I really enjoyed it. I will be rewatching this drama with not having to wait for two episodes at a time per week. Aww, it looks there is going to be a Part 2... ding ding ding ding!

The writers did alright with this drama. I mean it was full of suspense but I guess most of it. The only thing I didn't see coming is the actress who played... Nah, you have to watch it and see for yourself.

Seo Kang Joon did absolutely everything he was born to do with his great talents and that is act the part of the story. I loved his fight scenes. I'm so glad that this story for Seo Kang Joon was not about revenge but finding out the truth so thank you, writers. Han Seok Kyu, I'm afraid of you, you played your character very believable... *shiver*. If that was reality, I would be more fearful of you than the ones actually being so dang evil.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching Ancient Love Poetry from the past; it left a lasting impression on me, prompting the desire to revisit it because of this CDrama "The Last Immortal". I see the connection between the two. I suggest that viewers watch Ancient Love Poetry to remember the name Yuangi before watching The Last Immortal! Fantasy dramas, particularly those infused with martial arts and adorned with exquisite costumes, captivate my heart, especially during moments of melancholy. Zhao Lu Si, an actress whom I admire greatly, consistently delivers performances marked by authenticity in every drama she undertakes. Wang An Yu, whom I previously noticed in Go Go Squid, has captured my attention in this CDrama, compelling me to explore other productions where he takes on a lead role. The character he portrayed resonated deeply with me, sparking admiration for leadership qualities.

The meticulous craftsmanship evident in the costumes, animations, fantasy elements, martial arts sequences, and set design is commendable. My sincere gratitude for bringing this enchanting story "The Last Immortal" to the screen. Special thanks to the supporting cast whose contributions played a pivotal role in making the storyline exceptional. However, my only qualm lies with the ending. While I appreciate Gu Jin's return, I believe the conclusion should have focused on Gu Jin and Yin rather than Xiyuan and Ming Gi. I must also express my admiration for Li Yun Ruo and Ying Er, who portrayed the characters Hong Yi and Hong Ruo with remarkable skill and artistry.

WOW JUST WOW!

Oh my God, writers did great with this. Croton thank you for sharing this Drama Series. I love Croton! I watch this with and without the English subs. I couldn't stop watching it. I understood every move, passion, drama, romance, of this drama without the English Subs. I just finished tv drama on another site with completed English subs. I will go back to re-watch for a continual viewing. This Drama series captured my heart and soul. The "Agape Love" is in this one. Thank you so much to the writers. NiNi the Actress, I mean you did an awesome job, if you are not on my favorite Actress list, you are now. This is my first time seeing Chang Chen in a drama series and it looks like this is his first Drama Series. They couldn't have done this without you. OMGosh the visual effects were on point! That little monster "dog" was perfection! I love him... I want one! lol I believe all the supporting actors and actresses should have been named "main leads" seeing how they made this storyline come together. I loved it, I love 3 warriors who got together to save the capital. I love martial arts, so this had plenty of that going on. There was no fantasy but the martial arts and sword dancing were really good. Joseph Zeng is so believable playing Little Rock Yang. I thought I was actually a historical live stream. Chao Yue (Wen Rou), was fun, perky, and had a lot of energy with her character. I love her! Liu Yu Ning (Cabbage), all I can say is all viewers be warned, you will be shocked. Very believable acting. Baron Chen (Su Meng Zhen), I cried for him, I mean his character. He played a strong character but you will have to watch this drama. Meng Zi Yi ((Six Half Hall), I threw my shoe at the TV and I wanted just to grab her out and have a nice long talk with her character! I applaud all the supporting actors/actresses like I always do because they deserve a standing ovation. The visuals... excellent! The storyline... perfect! Martial Arts... incredible. Thanking the crew/team of Heroes! This was a great historical drama.

I love Lee Seung Gi who played Kim Jeong Ho. He is fantastic no matter what he does. It looks like he gained a couple of pounds which really looks good on him. I love when he plays characters like this, to know that he loves making people laugh and turns around playing a serious role. This drama has me wanting to watch Vagabond again. He is one of the best vocals ever. I loved the ending. Lee Se Young who played Kim Yu Ri. It looks like she played in another drama with LSG and I loved that storyline also. LSY is a great actress and I love how she takes on characters who are strong-willed. She also can be very witty as well. The storyline is about lawyers again, it seems I have been watching a lot of those lately. I love this storyline pitting defense against prosecution and then joining each other to solve their own issues. Thanking all the actors/actresses who acted up and beyond in making this story work. I applaud the screenwriters, story tellers, producers and the rest of the team who made me, the audience, love this drama.

This was a really cute romance. Li Jia Qi who played Ni Chang played her character with excellence. She did very well changing from one name to another for family's sake. At first, I felt that another actress should have played the part because they need someone who had a strong personality. I was fooled because she did play the part like she was supposed to.
Bi Wen Jun who played Ou Yang Ziyu did a great job with three types of personality not at the same time nor did have a personality disorder... He was mental when he had to be, serious, and loving. I would love to see more of him but it looks like he is new to the acting scene. He is only 24 but he is very handsome and tall. The storyline like I said was cute but then again it was very serious. The investigative scenes had me going. Thanking all those who played support roles. Thanking the crew of Ni Chang.

This is another one I forgot to write a review but I did watch it twice so I had to watch it again. Now I know why I forgot to write a review. I couldn't express words for this drama because it had me so emotional and teary-eyed. I'm even having a hard time writing a review on it now. The storyline was great don't get me wrong. Seo In Guk who plays the character Kim Moo Young absolutely took this character to another level. I mean OMG, this actor loves to play villain roles and his eyes are perfect for that type of role. His eyes are beautiful and can be a dangerous weapon if you ask me. I research Seo In Guk, just letting y'all know his vocals are perfect. It seems like South Korea has the most beautiful voices in the world when it comes to singing. The talent there is just phenomenal. I am praying that if there is such a thing as being reborn... let me be reborn in South Korea. Jung So Min who played the character of Yoo Jin Kang, wow, I love this actress! She can play a strong woman role awesomely. I loved her in Alchemy of Souls. Park Sung Woong who played the character Yoo Jin Gook, OMG, I wanted to reach into my TV and just slap him in the back of his head. For that actor to stir my anger emotions high... he did a great job. As you see in how I rate this, there was a hiccup in the storyline but you will have to watch to see what I am talking about.

Thanking all of The Smile Has Left Your Eyes team for making this drama, I applaud you. I want to thank the screenwriters and producers for orphan children and the orphanage that takes care of them. Not all orphanages are bad but some are.

I love this drama very much. I only had one hiccup and that was trying to understand the last 3 episodes. I had watched them like 4 times to get what the story writers were doing. I finally did. I hope that whoever watches understands the ending as well. The acting and the romance were livid. Zheng Ye Cheng who played Fu Jiu Yun did excellent with this character. I want to see more of him. Zhao Lu Si who played Zhao Lu Si Di Ji/Qin Chuan, I just love this actress, she is just incredible with her acting skills. Every time I see her perform in a drama, she works hard to turn into the character she is playing. This actress had me so emotional. This will be a rewatch for me. The fantasy and the martial art were good. The two main leads had me not so focused on the fantasy world which I love but my focus was on the story this time. I thank all the supporting actors and actresses as I always do because they also worked hard. The visuals were also good. Do not skip episodes are you will find yourself going back to watch them and understand what happened.

I love how they brought the awareness of Autism to a drama. People need to know there are 3 Levels of Autism. I believe she had Level 2. Reading the reviews of Park Eun Bin and how she had to learn about Autism, she did an excellent job. Kang Tae Oh, wow, this actor made everything in my heart go ah in how his character wanted to spend his life. I was overcome by it. Kudos to the screenwriters for that part of the story. Thanking all of the actors and actresses who did a great job, How you dressed Park Eun Bin for this part had me asking "why?" That was my only critical opinion. I am anxious to see the 2nd part. Thank you to the great teamwork.

Wow this had no Romance!

The storyline was very well done. I'm impressed that this had two main male Chinese actors. I was also impressed that I finally got to see a Chinese drama without romance or competition of female leads for the male lead or vice versa. I love art, the producers were perfect with how their direction regarding sketches, drawings, and what made me very happy is that they showed face blindness having autism. Thank you for bringing attention to autism disorders. Tan Jian Ci who played Shen Yi was excellent with his acting displaying a sketch artist and oil paintings. Very handsome actor. Jin Shi Jia who played Du Cheng, for a minute I thought he was a real detective/police. JSJ was very believable. I thank all the actors/actresses in the characters that they played to make the storyline more believable. This is a rewatch for me!

The awesome visuals!

Zhang Ruo Yun, you did great in this drama. Thank you! You had me cheering for you all the way to the last episode. You were so believable in the character you played. I wished there were more episodes to see you bring back your brother and sisters plus Jiang Ni played by Teresa Li, she was awesome but I have to talk about the strong women in this drama. The lady in white is what I want to call her, 2nd sister, and the little crazy one Miss Hee Hee these characters and the actress who played them were just awesomely good. The child actor named Finn Han Zhao Xuan Su toward the end, I mean everything that he did was on point, I mean the tricks and his acting (dual character) was on point as well. This kid is only 12 years old! The martial arts, fantasy, man I wish I was born in that kind of life if it could be real. I loved those scenes. The visuals, OMG, I don't know how the producers came up with all of the actors/actresses flying in the air from here, there, and there but it was so tremendously good. The buildings... wow... I was so impressed. The soundtrack had me glued to the TV! Thank you to the writers of this drama, the Sword Snow Stride team (staff) who made it all happen.

Why did Allen Ren and Bai Liu pick this script!

Allen Ren is one of my favorite actors and Bai Liu is one of my favorite actresses. I don't have the slightest idea why the screenwriters wrote this the way they wrote this. I loved how the storyline started but I sense something was wrong when I got to Episode #16. From that point on, it just went downhill for me. I have never rated a Chinese Drama that featured Allen Ren or Bai Liu low., two top leading performers in the same drama that I became disappointed and embarrassed to view but I did and I'm sorry that I did. In the very last episode, the writers tried to clean it up but only for the last few minutes of it. I gave the actors/actresses a 10 rating because they did their best and were excellent in their parts. I will never watch another drama that makes the bad guys win. Kudos go to Allen Ren and Bai Liu for enduring a drama like this.

I apologized to the rest of the actors for my rough critique.
