Bad acting

I watched the trailer to this but decided to give it a go.
Wish I hadn't. Really below standard for a BL.
All the actors seemed on another planet. There were pauses between lines.. Rak was depressive.. No actors
really gelled.. As soon as I saw males dressed as females
the acting was over the top and it turns everything into a comedy and you can't take the series seriously. I'm not against trans actors as I have a grandson whose gay but
it really puts you off probably because it's not so prevalent in the Western dramas. All in all not a good view but that's only my opinion.

Storyline

Well only just watched this BL drama and I was quite embarrassed watching it. The two ML did not gel and to see a grown man on the floor acting like a child mumbling and whatnot and the other ML getting his guitar out to sing to him to calm him down I'm afraid he couldn't sing. He was well out of tune and that didn't help the drama. I did watch it through to the end but
wasn't impressed. People in Taiwan maybe love
Actors to look vulnerable and childish but where I come from the west I have never witnessed it in any drama
I have watched. I will add that Taiwan.. Korea.. China..
Philippines since 2020 when this came out have greatly improved their BL dramas and are more professionally
done.The actors are more professional. They have many talents singing and some have dance in their repertoire
and extremely smart and good looking.

Entertainment value..

Ml and FL needed a marriage counsellor even before they tied the knot. 32 episodes were far to long for me
which is a turn off with so many series. The ML would have been through the door for his arrogance...
posturing and authorative behavior where as the FL
stood for his lack of warmth taken over by his icy grip. She was very much the victim and the pairing seemed more like a a Father daughter relationship.. In fact she was more in childish mode and lacked maturity. I did enjoy the series because I'm a big fan of Wallace Chung.
I stuck with it watched it through to the end. My
opinion it was OK.. The acting was first class. The story was average. I would nt watch it again because my stress levels with both leads would nt allow it.

Story

There are only a few Drama series that contain all aspects that make a series brilliant and this was one of them. Stranger and Stranger 2 were superb. I have seen other series by the same Director and knew it would be worth watching. The Script was full of twists and turns.. and the gathering of some of the best Korean actors to date. I couldn't wait to see the next episode and in the end binge watch the two series. You know a good series from the first episode if it catches your attention.
It's top of my list for one of the best dramas ever with
Goblin.. Devil judge.. Angels fall sometimes.. Taxi Driver.
SKorea is up with best producing and directing great KDramas... ❤️

Script.

This series was Ok and was watchable I did stay the
full 10 episodes because of the actor who played Ken.
He was a cutie.The script was ok but confusing.There were moments when between conversations there were long gaps but that could have been the camera crew keeping the camera focused to long on a scene.
The three main actors Ken..Din..Mr lue at times the acting didn't flow.I preferred the chemistry between Ken and Din they were made for each other.The tender moments between them were beautiful and you felt the connection to each other. The pairing between Mr Lue and Ken just didn't sit well. The actor looked older..different body shape..more muscular. They didn't gel well. Nevertheless other viewers might have a different opinion to me and find it fab. Everyone's different.

Story

I know a lot of viewers were not very pleased with this BL due to the way Yho was being treated but I took it for what it was a drama and thoroughly enjoyed it. Yho was depicted as a loner and fell for Segasaki otherwise he wouldn't have been in a relationship with him toxic or otherwise.Loved both actors .. Both very cute.For some reason Japanese actors are incredible at showing their emotions Love..Excitement...Happiness..Sadness. Segasaki was very cohesive in his behaviour but Yho
fought back and also when drunk his feelings came to the fore so he wasn't completely taken over.. Segasaki was put in his place more than once. You have many people in life who are very submissive to someone's feelings and they live like that. They prefer not to walk away.Yes I will watch it again.

Storyline

Unfortunately this Series is like so many BLs being made dull and boring.
The two main leads had no charisma at all. Scriptwriters need to stop making so many dull BLs and more with a decent
storylines.Getting drunk.. Unbuttoning shirts..long stares like they have forgot their words.Its awkward viewing.Mon and So we're completely unmatched and main leads need to appeal to the female watchers. Saint was my favourite actor easy on the eye and he needs to star in a series as a main lead
with Pond or Micky.Mon I couldn't work out..he looked totally depressed about everything and everyone he came in contact with. SO wasnt much better.Putting these two as the main leads was a disaster. No charisma whatsoever. The moments Saint and Mon were together was a different vibe. At least Mon smiled more.I hated So for humiliating Mon by deliberately kissing a girl.I wish he had ended up with Saint.He did love Mon.The ending wasn't an ending.I am none the wiser wether Mon ended up with anyone.

Input of story..

Series was really good. All the Cast was professional the storyline was well..was this a BL. The two main actors must have had certain rules to abide by or they
had no desire to seen with their shirts off and touching flesh
which many BLs are without being to explicit. To me the actors didn't connect and because there were three suitors after one person there was no real love story to follow. It became quite boring
It was 8 episodes long that should have been concentrated on the two love interests who were extremely good looking instead we got a mish mash of a story. It was OK but not a BL we are used to seeing in. The script really let down the story.

If its any good.

I will watch anything that features Ji Sung.
To me he is one of the best Korean actors by far. He never ages and still has the looks
to give you heart flutters.. Devil Judge.. Heal me kill me were a joy to watch but in this Series he was still fab but the annoying
part of the series was it focused to much on
Kang Shi Young and her fragilitys. Not that she was a bad actress.. she wasn't but he was a fully fledged doctor and she was a novice but seemed to think she could give him advice when clearly she was the one needing his experience. Her weepy eyes
sad expressions totally got me down.
As for the other cast they were all very professional .. The storyline was great but There should have been more emphasis on ji Sung.. He was the draw.. without a woman popping up every 5 minutes. Maybe I was jealous.. ? rewatch. Value.. 2/5

The chemistry between the leading actors.

I'm getting a bit fed up of many BLs as they are just silly and stupid. It's always more or less the same story lines with no chemistry between the two actors. We know a passionate kiss when we see one.
We need BLs that are passionate love storys which
contain drama and hard hitting storylines.. All BLs pretty much follow the same generic formula. Schoolboy BLs are the worst. Most contain a tripping up scene where the one who catches the offender takes about a minute to look into ones eyes and feels the love or gets blindly drunk and taken to his bed to wake up and wants to know what's hes doing there. Don't get me started on giggling schoolgirls who have a melt down seeing two lads together. This was an OK series but they are turning out BLs by the hundreds.. It's not about the quantity but more about quality. There are many who probably love cheesy BLs but being more in the 40 years old range we need more dark BLs..

Story

After watching the series I really enjoyed it. It's certainly not one of the worst BLS.The actors did a pretty good job..My favourite pairing was Sam and
Tan and I was hoping to see more of them being loved up.Sam was sweet and would have been a great match for Sprite.The pairing of First and Sprite although they played the parts well I didn't think they were
ideally suited.Ihink the height of First put me off. The
storyline was decent enough.Had a few flaws but all in
all it was good. There was plenty of male testerone
flying about and really good-looking males to keep you riveted.
Well-done to everybody involved.

Storyline

Just watched this series but didn't really find it exciting. I myself found pob and Leons interaction annoying. It was neither here nor there. Leo and fiats romance dragged on with fiat having sulky moments and Leo putting up with it. I found the mother embarrassing how she held onto fiat in front of her own sons something a mother wouldn't do in a real life situation.
Fiat did say he slept around to gain Leos attention.Why he just didn't confess to Leo that his friendship with him had gotten more serious at least it would have made it easier for both of them but as my hubby said its not in the script..The actor who played Fiat was eye candy. All in all it was OK but not OK. The script was all over the place but no doubt everyone tried their best.
