The best of the best! You got gay protags in a loving relationship with a happy ending and a fun plot. What's not to love?

So, so, so sweet. The pacing is slow, but not overly so, and the relationship between Adachi and Kurosawa is well-developed. It's chaste (likely for censorship reasons), but the intimacy between the two characters doesn't suffer from it.

Lesbians! Finally! Although the sex scenes still cater to the male gaze and were... fetish-y, but they have a happy ending and the plot is great so I don't hate it... just major side-eye. I wouldn't call this an amazing, realistic lesbian romance, but I'm desperate and will take what I can get.

    Korean Drama - 2015, 12 episodes

Overall a fun plot as it jumps from apartment to apartment, but Joon Jae and Takuya kept the story interesting. Again, it's heavy on the innuendo, but more playful and they have a happy ending. I wish they could have actually kissed, but it's Korea (and like I said, I'll take what I can get)

Not explicitly LGBT. Also, there are issues with this one. The age gap, the dangers of portraying gay men as mentally unstable or "not really gay just into one guy" are the things that majorly got under my skin. However, the psychological tones of the movie and the nuances of the characters and the plot make it definitely worth a watch if you can stomach it.
