Amnesia & Other Mental or Physical Impairments

ML and FL endured trauma and suffer from varying degrees of claustrophobia; ML has chronic pain and is also haunted by the memory of another victim; FL has partial amnesia and has a recurring nightmare about the disaster; FL's friend is in a wheelchair; ML's friend is mentally challenged / developmentally delayed

One main male character is in a wheelchair 

ML has amnesia and does not remember anything from before he was 5 years old / FL does not remember her very early childhood

After a car accident, the ML can no longer recognize or distinguish between faces

The ML and FL both have nightmares and specific phobias that lead to brief panic attacks as a result of a childhood trauma; the ML dislikes being touched by most women and cannot instigate physical intimacy as a result of the trauma; the SML also has an unusual psychological coping mechanism involving his memory as a result of a childhood incident

The ML was in a serious accident as a young man that resulted in him not being able to use his right arm and right leg. He used a wheelchair for 11  years before meeting a man who designs special wearable assistance devices that allow him to use his right arm and leg and that give him super-strength in those limbs. As the devices are made of strong metal and he still can't feel anything in those limbs, they can also withstand significant force / attacks.

Amnesia (she also sees her heterochromia iridum as something she must hide) / loss of sense of taste + smell and inability to feel pain / prosopagnosia (disorder that = difficult to distinguish faces)

ML suffers from Anxiety.

One specific memory stolen +  amnesia / "fragmented memory"

Survivor's guilt / "split personality disorder" ( <.< but is it really?)
