Start-Up to a sequel? Cause that's what it felt like.

Cool concept, awful people. There's not a single person to root for. 

One of the funniest I've seen this year. 

It didn't exactly accomplish what it set up to be. Lee Bum Soo was an exceptional villain, tho.
 

Sad yes, but overrated af. Too unrealistic for my taste. 

INTENSE is the keyword. The whole thing turned out so good. I'm not even surprised this came from the same writer & director of Bleak Night which wrecked me inside. My only complaint is the last 15 minutes. I'd cut that and put it in part 2. Felt unnecessary here. 

It was ok. They put a different spin on the original, but it felt like a rehash all the same. Wasn't invested in it. 

No offense to Kwon Sang Woo, but Jung Woo Sung looks way better in the white suit, and no one can beat Lee Bum Soo as a villain. Also more stylish. 

The Divine 2 feels mainstream. It does nothing new, but it does improve on the plot/character/action department. 

I think they're both on the same level, since it's all about the method of a game, it doesn't go much beyond that, so maybe to top that off they should make a 3rd and have the two mains meet. That would be awesome.
