Asian Movie Recommendations for Friends

This is a good romance movie for a girls night! Put on some face masks for this heartwarming and heartbreaking experience~ 

I've shown many of my friends and family members regardless of their experience with foreign films, and I've yet to see one dislike this. It will leave a place in your heart for a long time.

Not feeling up for a romance film? No problem~ This is a good action/thriller (not scary) film for a movie night with family and friends. Grab your popcorn as you watch a blind girl gets chased by a serial killer; it'll leave you on the edge of your seats!

This is probably a better movie for girls night as well. It seems rather horror-ish at the beginning of the film, but trust me there is an explanation later on.  This film likes to mix the feeling of beauty and romance with semi-scary and eerieness. A good watch, especially if you liked the innocent love of "A Werewolf Boy".

*Warning: For those who are heavily Christian, there are a few scenes with shamen in the beginning, however, it mainly disappears as the movie continues. Just wait until she reaches "Neverland". It's not bad enough to be worried about in my opinion though

This is a cute family based movie~ The mother makes a promise to her son that once she dies she'll come back during the rainy season. It becomes rainy season and she comes back with amnesia, the backstory later revealed is very heartwarming along with the love between the family. It's a cute movie that I definitely recommend.
