  • Mistress

    1. Mistress

    Korean Drama - 2018, 12 episodes

    10

As of right now, there's nothing that can top this drama. It was almost like I was watching a movie. The mystery and the thriller kept me interested and the plot twists turned the tables. Truly one of the greatest dramas I've ever watched.

  • Mother

    2. Mother

    Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes

    10

This version was just as much as a thrilling ride as the Japanese version. I loved it so much because I became really attached to the mother's relationship with her daughter. It's a little less cold-hearted than the Japanese  version. And just when you're about to cry, it wraps you up in a warm blanket at the end. I've never watched something as great as this.

  • Inspiring Generation

    3. Inspiring Generation

    Korean Drama - 2014, 24 episodes

    9.0

I felt like I was watching Naruto or Dragon Ball. The action scenes, the historical setting, the cast, the ost, the setting, everything was perfect. It felt dragged along at some point, because I believe the writer changed. But it was still worth a watch.

  • The Princess Wei Young

    4. The Princess Wei Young

    Chinese Drama - 2016, 54 episodes

    10

The Princess Wei Young was an incredible drama. This might've have been one of the dramas that founded my love for historical cdramas, after I was trying so hard to find my kind of dramas.

  • Two Weeks

    5. Two Weeks

    Korean Drama - 2013, 16 episodes

    10

I believe I watched this while I was on break from school. Once I started watching, I just couldn't stop. It was like a book you couldn't stop reading. The cast was outstanding and the plot was thrilling. I would rewatch this a million times if I could.

  • Go Back Couple

    6. Go Back Couple

    Korean Drama - 2017, 12 episodes

    10

I loved the fact that it was based in he 90s and it was honestly a refreshing watch. It was great to see the main couple essentially split but patch themselves together after realizing their mistakes.

  • The Legend of the Blue Sea

    7. The Legend of the Blue Sea

    Korean Drama - 2016, 20 episodes

    9.0

Another drama with beautiful cinematography. I loved the locations and the backstory behind it all.

  • Frozen Love

    8. Frozen Love

    Korean Special - 2017, 2 episodes

    10

It's a short yet sweet drama that somehow made its way into my favourites. I don't know how to explain how good this is, but I could watch this forever.

  • I am...

    9. I am...

    Korean Drama - 2017, 6 episodes

    10

It was a short but cute little special that I loved so much because I started to care so much for the character of Annie. I hope we can all agree that we must protect Annie at all costs.

  • Star of the Universe

    10. Star of the Universe

    Korean Drama - 2017, 21 episodes

    10

A very, very sweet drama yet "human" drama that gives you a chance to think. Honestly, I wasn't expecting this from another idol drama where the idol is playing an idol.

  • Mother

    11. Mother

    Japanese Drama - 2010, 11 episodes

    10

Less heart-warming than the Korean version, but amazing nevertheless. It utilizes Japan's typical "blue" dramas that leaves you in the dust instead of giving you happy-go-lucky endings all of the time. It also seemed much darker than the Korean version. Although, both strongly present the same message.

  • Am I the Only One with Butterflies? Season 2

    12. Am I the Only One with Butterflies? Season 2

    Korean Special - 2019, 4 episodes

    10

It's so agonizingly short, but I think that's one of the things that makes it so special. It's so sweet and the lead, Jung Ah, is cute on the inside and on the outside. I don't normally watch just a standalone romance drama, because I often get tired of heteronomality in dramas and media in general. But I can always settle down for some nicely-written lesbian dramas to feed my entertainment. This one, although cliche at times (not complaining, though), is probably my favorite.

  • Tomorrow With You

    13. Tomorrow With You

    Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

    8.0

This took me quite some time to finish. The drama wasn't that long, but it was often slow-paced. So naturally, I was slow -paced with watching it. The story was nice, but that isn't what makes this one of my favourite dramas. It's actually the cinematography. The way it was filmed reminded me of indie movies. I love the aesthetic of it.

  • Mysterious Personal Shopper

    14. Mysterious Personal Shopper

    Korean Drama - 2018, 103 episodes

    8.5

Now this drama was a very, very, very long ride. I think I skipped over some episodes at some point just to get it over with. It dragged a little too long for my liking, and the plot swung a different direction than I would've hoped for. The reason this drama actually made it to my favourites is because of the relationship between the two female leads. I haven't seen a friendship between two women so beautiful in any other kdramas. I swear the two of them may as well have been dating. Maybe I'm crazy but I KNOW one of them fell for the other, I can just feel it. They're perfect for each other.

  • Last Minute Romance

    15. Last Minute Romance

    Korean Drama - 2017, 10 episodes

    7.5

The ost of this drama is one of the things that made me love it. Also the bittersweet ending took it all from me. It not a major favourite, but it somehow holds a special place in my heart.

  • The Rise of Phoenixes

    16. The Rise of Phoenixes

    Chinese Drama - 2018, 70 episodes
