Things I like about this drama:
- Ye Liuxi is one of the most interesting, complex characters I've seen in recent years.
- Ni Ni's acting
- The Chicken
Things I find disappointing about this drama:
- Long Zhi is an equally complex & badass character, and I wish a different actress was cast to match Ni Ni's acting ability and powerful presence. I also find the Long Zhi/Jiang Zhan dynamic interesting, and I wish it had been explored a tad bit more.
- Weird pacing and confused direction
- For an adventure drama, I found most of the drama uneventful and not engaging enough despite being only 30 minutes per episode.
- The inconsistent writing doesn't do Ye Liuxi's character justice.
- Not enough Chicken
