my 10/10 dramas ranked

wow, just wow. this is one of the best dramas i've seen in a while. the story, the ost, the acting, all amazing. such complex characters as well. i'm writing this just after finishing the series (watched it weekly) and i'm honestly just speechless. such a beautiful and bittersweet story about youth, coming of age, and love -- highly recommend for everyone.  i think one of the reasons this drama hit extra hard for me is because of the central themes surrounding the transition from youth to adulthood, and how we often lose connection with those who we were friends with while we were younger in order to pursue our own goals. brilliant drama. remains my favorite of all time even years after release. 

this drama, THIS DRAMA ! literally so amazing in so many ways: so unique, so well made, and the acting is phenomenal. it's such a beautifully thought provoking drama about life and the relationships we have with other people.  has definitely made me cry more than any tv show/drama/movie ever, which is saying something. cannot recommend enough if you're looking for an emotional and inspiring watch.

this drama is excellent, its so well done and the characters are amazingly complex, as well as all of the relationships between each of them. the suspense this drama brought was literally insane, i was on the edge of my seat almost every episode. the additional balance of romance and action makes the show extremely compelling, and also ensures that it doesn't lean too much into one genre. fantastic! (the ending did piss me off but it does not take away from how great this show truly is) 

one of my favorite dramas of all time, i've rewatched multiple at this point times and still don't get tired of it. the characters, the story, the romance, the tension, the ost, are all magnificent. made me laugh, made me cry (a lot), and never gets old, a truly timeless classic. 

i wow, honestly wow!!! what a great show. i never read the webtoon so idk how it compares but the show was absolutely brilliant. the acting by the main trio is phenomenal (we love you park jihoon), and the soundtrack and cinematography of the drama is a perfect match with the themes of the show.  the writing is compelling, and the plot in the second half of the show was so unexpected, shocking honestly (in a good way). anxiously awaiting season 2! 

i love love love lovely runner!! cute, fun, charismatic, and heartwarming!! fell in love with byeon wooseok as sunjae, and the overall cast was super likeable and great to watch. amazing ost, good story, phenomenal acting, and addicting chemistry! the balance of comedy, suspence, and romance that this drama achieved is also a rare feat these days (2024), ensured i never got bored and none of the genres detracted from another. 

i fear this might be unpopular but i actually liked this season more than the first! the chemistry and tension between the leads is really good, and i also like seeing uk be dark and mysterious! same compliments as the first season + a bit more :) 

i love love love this show!!! it finally got me out of my slump of not getting invested into any dramas. the story is complex and all the elements play into eachother so well -- it's dark & mysterious while also being fun & lighthearted!! def one of the best fantasy dramas i've ever seen

truly amazing. it kept me on my toes, made me laugh, made me cry,  and had me invested for months. i was satisfied every weekend after watching an episode, cannot express how much i enjoyed watching this drama over the past 13 weeks. the humor, the acting,  THE PLOT - the way each episode builds on top of the last is phenomenal. love love love, rewatched recently and is just as compelling/enjoyable as my first watch was !

LOVE this drama, excellently made, complex characters, & thrilling storyline. really unique in it's characters and plot line, can definitely see this becoming a classic!!

do not hate me for liking the second season more but wow! a lot of similar elements to the first but the stakes feel even higher in the second season. brilliant games, brilliant acting, brilliant effects, brilliant plot! 

i am so sad i finished this drama. i wanted it to keep going forever. the acting is AMAZING, and i really enjoyed seeing yeo jingoo in a mystery drama. so many plot twists, amazing dialogue, complicated character relationships, amazing cinematography, great ost. overall an amazing mystery/crime drama that i cannot recommend enough !!

this drama is not for the weak; its gritty and at times tough to watch, but the acting in it is top tier and the story is compelling. i feel like it really balances tackling tough, hard to watch topics while mixing in some slight humor at the same time. a really thought provoking commentary. 

I LOVE THIS DRAMA ! loveable characters, strong-realistic relationship, uplifting and heart wrenching at the same time. truly a wonderful drama, amazing cinematography and an amazing ost to boot

i love this show, alice in borderland is honestly what all the other death-filled shows wish they could be like. interesting premise, high stakes both in and outside of games, good characters, good plot twists, it has everything.  cannot recommend season 1 & 2 enough  !! 

i really enjoyed watching this drama. the plot is amazing, the acting is amazing, the ost is great, and its also wonderfully directed! such a good story, i really enjoyed seeing the relationship between the two main characters develop, and seeing the relationships with the other residents! amazing zombie show who's main focus wasn't even the zombies, rather the actions of the characters in the show
