ending : XD wouldn't call it an ending, some will see it as a beautiful one that shows the character development, and then there's me saying it's a dumb-ass ending that needs a continuation or else it's a cliffhanger :') they're not even together, and the feeling is currently freaking one-sided, what a way to end a drama

what i liked :

• the first episodes until the actual romance part started XD kidding, actually the drama was overall very good until the last episode ;)  but the comedy in the first few eps was gold
• dongbaek kissing yudam first :)

what i disliked :

• kind of the lack of feelings, i'm not saying there was no chemistry cuz there was (especially ep7-8) but something was missing for me idk;
• Denis (not as a character but an undevelopped and unexplained story - i mean, this little bish killed Dongbaek in their previous life and now he's trying to separate him and Yudam? something's fishy);
• not enough runtime, like how exactly do you want to make a good reincarnation drama with merely 150 minutes

• loved the humor and how hyper and dramatic Bai Lang was XD

• not enough screentime for Alex and RJ
• the ending felt very rush, almost like it lacked proper closure, it just ends outta nowhere when they're dancing XD

notes: i needed a scene in the last episode with Xun An taking off his shirt and Bai Lang seeing all the bruises :))) like they did in Be Loved In House :DD would he feel guilty? hell yeah, but i feel a bit bitter about them just skipping the fact entirely

• NuerSin carried the show with their crumbs of the scenes and part 3 of ep3, thank you for coming to my TedTalk
• that one MaxZee scene, the directors know their target audience ;)

what i disliked:

• Kuea cockblocking Lian all the damn time, saving "it" 'uNtiL mArRiaGe' as if they haven't done the deed already
• their "i'm fine with whatever you choose" during the decision-making
• that shit-show of a wedding itself lol
• after the first ep it just got boring as shit, plot-wise, it had its moments but when you look back at it it was bland again XD
• product placement in slow motion XD i know it's nit-picking, I'm fine with product placement in general if it's done with taste, and adding slow-mo over it is a no-no

notes: this got me excited at first cuz of the "i wanna be a singer" kinda-plot they introduced in the first ep, but then they seemed to forget about it and then it just randomly came back at the end of the last ep already developed, making the entire thing a plotless shit show all over again like Cutie Pie itself was :)

• awkward acting that made sense, that was actually a very accurate portrayal of two shy guys interacting, especially since one is a fan of the other, very nice

• the run-time xD i mean, i get they're supposed to be awkward, awkward conversations do go like that often but please, this movie would be half as long if they removed all the exaggeratedly long pauses
• Suk-Yod had been THINKING and the thoughts have been thought XD jesus christ, there was so much decision-making and hesitating and contemplating on his part but none was actually voiced in any way, they once again just wasted time having him silently think while nodding to himself XD lol
• lowkey a queerbait, except for that one imaginary scene that's also not very queer XD

notes:

• okay so this production definitely has potential, i mean the quality was just too god for such a weak script, they really went off with the camera quality with this one, it looked very pretty and professional
• the bts footage was more entertaining than the actual movie XD
• no idea how old those guys are, i think i'd rather not know XD Klong so damn skinny tho
• it needs a drama adaptation actually

notes: watched it on 2x speed while watching something else simultaneously and i don't think i missed out on a lot lol the pursuing stage was as always the most exciting part and then the drama got stupidly messy once they went official, and then everything got resolved even more stupidly easily

• the pinning !!! (i'm sorry but Mix being so h0rny for Earth was so pleasing to watch XD)
• the diversity of characters (despite the quite small number of characters, each got their very own problems and very own stories that despite the short format they managed to tell)

what i disliked:

• i don't read sign language (aka why the hell didn't GMM put subs for us ignoramuses)
• as long as i'm all for FirstKhao, that was unnecessary XD i mean, it was so random you can literally feel it was forced just so they can gather the FirstKhao audience XD

notes: i'm personally still a great fan of ATOTS, but THIS is THE EarthMix drama
why not a 10 then? i have no fucking idea XD maybe after a while i'll change it to a 10, maybe i'll binge the entire show and then it'll click

• the characters - i liked both the main leads but as always my heart goes to the cold-on-the-surface-warm-on-the-inside Kaguragi hdsbcjdsjhbdhsdb
• the whispering - loved the gentle tone Kagu was using with Onoe istg whenever he whispered i was dying in the corner
• THE HUGS JXVBFHDBFH please don't make me pick my favorite hug cuz i'd rather k!ll myself than choose
• the misunderstanding - call me a weirdo but i surprisingly liked the way they handled the misunderstanding, like i don't freaking know why XDDDDD

• the overall feel of the last scene, their confessions and the lighting and Kagu's whispering and wiping off Onoe's tears and that hug and everything ajsbcsjdhbvjdfh

• low-key stiff and awkward - not saying there was 0 chemistry but it was lacking the spark

notes: i don't get why it has so many hate comments, i mean it's not anything mindblowing but it looks like a lot of people were expecting it to blow their minds XD idk it's an average cute Japanese BL that you can binge in one go when you're bored XD

- the eye-fucking was insane i definitely needed more of that, the chemistry absolutely SLAYED and there was no intimate scene that didn't make my heart skip a beat, i kept blushing during all of them and they were so natural being all CLINGY and lovey dovey and don't get me started about that scene prior to the accident, LEGENDARY
- THE LAST EPISODE CHEMISTRY + just Jihyun being thirsty for Jaewon
- what they did with Jaewon's character in general, but he was written a bit sloppily; or maybe it was Jisub's interpretation?
- Jaewon Yoonwon friendship T-T
- Wetter-packed OST, wish they didn't disappear in the middle of the drama; gorgeous soundtrack, but the music dep should do better with choosing certain songs for certain scenes
- the therapy sessions, tho the convo about funerals gave me anxiety

what i disliked:
- editing was all over the place and sometimes confusing as f-, random at times and inconsistent; the black-screen cuts were such a turn-off
- Eunji sudden change in the last ep
- Jaewon's emotional baggage just disappearing like that, underdeveloped character imo

notes:
- twitter got my expectations too high, like wow, i'm never getting excited for a show again because now i'm lowkey disappointed
- until the very last second of the series Jaewon was giving bipolar vibes and i can't get it out of my head and his good mood kept giving me absolute anxiety
- jail to anyone who was responsible for the execution of the beginning of ep7, when that shit turned almost black&white and despite knowing everything is fine i started doubting everything
- my artistic ass couldn't stand that f- font, WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT, there literally was no font that could be uglier, like how am i supposed to promote the show to my friends when the logo looks like that

favorite episodes were the ones in the water (ep11 and 21), ESPECIALLY ep11, best ep of the season

• the second chance trope merged with amnesia - i'm not normally a fan of amnesia theme, but this one was used well; i absolutely get why Fumiya lied about their relationship and tried not to cross any lines, at the same time trying to stay as close to Ritsu as possible

• the chemistry
• Fumiya's visible change after the accident

• I actually don't know, it was okay - nothing special, nothing groundbreaking but also not bad not boring (tho it took me 2 months to get past ep2 lol)
• a little bit mixed feelings about Ritsu finding out they were dating and shit hitting the fan and him being mad and then him remembering shit and not being mad.. idk something just feels off

really liked someone's review that said "It’s a bit like an extremely pretty art, but then you find out it was made by AI and it starts to feel a bit empty."

• that kiss in ep4 was marvelous and one of the best i've seen in kbl ever
• it's also when i could feel the chemistry
• leejoon was annoying as fvck in the last two eps but that's when i could relate to him

what i disliked

• the accidentall fall-and-kiss scene was ridiculous
• half of the dialogues was also ridiculous
• the CEO guy or whatever he was kept pissing me off with his "you're gay" agenda
• contrary to all the positive comments, i didn't feel the chemistry at all (with the ep4 kiss as an exception), it wasn't cute, it wasn't sweet, and it made no fucking sense, the plot was just not there
• haram? more like harass, didn't like his pushy attitude
• the whole love mate and love training concept were fucking ridiculous, too
• i'm sorry but they're all grown people, why are they taking stupid things so seriously, this is just so damn unrealistic and simply childish

• the first 4 episodes or so, basically the introduction to the story felt very nice, especially the first scenes
• zuho's deep voice and his acting when yoojae was being playful or sarcastic
• the acting in general, but more in the first half of the series

what i disliked:

• the absolutely non-existent continuity, random cuts, skips etc
• once they apparently started dating the drama turned into an MV with more time skips than plot
• the whole thing with parents, i didn't like the way it was executed at all
• i don't like when things exist with no purpose (mainly talking about the boxing club)
• too many just absolutely random scenes that had nothing to do with the characters
• the characters weren't clear enough
• the story was all over the place, i felt more like we were floating on a broken boat in the ocean rather than diving with the characters

- wasted opportunity with the whole "star struck" thing, i mean, when you name a drama like that and make stars significant, you wanna keep them relevant all the time, which wasn't the case here

what i liked:

• i absolutely fucking missed BB so damn much it was so good to see them again
• absolutely love their dynamics and their relationship in general, i want what they have
• THE AGGRESSIVE KISSES ARE MY FAVORITE THING ON EARTH
• the set up for the cross-over actually made sense
• I DIDN'T KNOW I NEEDED SUCH CROSSOVER IN MY LIFE BUT HERE WE ARE, i mean it's THE bb combined with THE atots hsgdcvhdbdhfvbjdf THE POWER THIS ITSELF HOLDS
• BB recreating the iconic ATOTS scenes + ผมไม่ ใช่เมียคุณนะ and it was smooth as fuck actually
• that we actualy got to see the play, even if it was just 3 scenes, and the fact PhuTian went to see it :') also InkPa

what i disliked:

• PhuTian felt way too childish, especially put together with PatPran that appeared more mature than ever XD
• the days were too damn short? like they ate breakfast and BOOM they're lost in the forest and it's night XD
• btw the whole getting lost in the forest agenda XD
• Phu was out of character I'm sorry XD that wasn't Phu, that was someone pretending to be him
• ATOTS recreating BB scenes felt forced and idk, made no sense to me XD
• at some points it felt like the story was stuck in a loop
• PhuTian were overshadowed by PatPran and their insane chemistry, wish there were more PhuTian sweet scenes T-T

• the PhuTian part in the city reminded me too much of EarthMix space and I couldn't focus on the series XD it felt too weird, PhuTian don't belong in the city
• I was kinda worried about OhmNanon (their controversies) but I'm so glad they're professionals and you couldn't feel any regress in their chemistry whatsoever, thank god

• absolutely loved the camera work
• the vibes were there

• the shit hurt like hell and the fact it was so sudden and out of nowhere made it even better
• and the fact that ryota's mother also d-words in the end is absolutely heartbreaking, as far as i understand kosuke's actions i feel so damn sad for him

what i disliked

• not enough time to fully know the characters made me feel like kosuke had some ill intentions and until the very damn end i was suspicious of him
• the grounds of the story was kinda random actually idk

• i'm still having absolutely mixed feelings about kosuke but when i think about it, it all makes sense, which makes the confusion annoying XD
• i would love to see this as a drama so we could explore the characters a bit better, this kind of felt like they were rushing through things, but also as it's realistic cinema i guess it just makes sense, we never fully know the other person right

• well, they do know how to kiss

• never really got into the series, never felt the chemistry
• Net's eyes were so damn empty no matter what
• i knew the kinks would be there but they were so forced they were just unwatchable
• the broken continuity during the bed scenes also pissed me off quite a lot
• they gave all possible trauma to just one character and made the rest of the characters plain as fuck lol
• once the problems started getting resolved they really took one ep to be solved and that was lazy writing

what i LOVED and then didn't really:

• that kiss when Zherui sits on ZhongYi's lap was something else- basically the entire scene from the moment Zherui just ran to ZhongYi until they started taking their clothes off XD then it got too long, unnecessarily long
• the dynamics between Ai Di and Chen Yi was nice until Ai Di started disregarding Chen Yi's feelings :D BUT THEN WHEN THEY FIGURED IT OUT HGSVCHGSDVBGDHFVBHBDH

what i didn't like that much:
- i'm sorry but the premise for ZhongYi and Zherui is so out of nowhere XD
- i'm confused as to why the Fan family is trying to hurt ZhongYi, i mean??? dude, he literally took the blame for Zherui, what the fuck do you want from him
- the plot, it was lacking something
- why did Zherui have to get hurt this many times XD

• in a nutshell i was expecting something more tearjerking that would make me cry all the damn time
• what absolutely killed me were three  scenes:
  • when it started hitting Oumi that Koichi was nearing his end at that childbirth scene
  • Oumi breaking down asking his father how to deal with the pain
  • Oumi's monologue about the sadness never going away
• i LOVED Oumi, him and his cold and sad aura are so relatable, his inner monologue was so damn good
• it felt like they didn't exactly know how to wrap up the ending
• the story was beautiful, but it lacked something that would make the execution do its justice
