Plan to Watch Taiwanese Dramas

The year is 2019. The 27 year-old Huang Yu Xuan terribly misses her boyfriend Wang Quan Sheng, who has been missing for two years and is presumed dead. Her birthday wish for this year is to "see him." The year is 1998. The 17 year-old Chen Yun Ru is in love with a boy who doesn't feel the same way for her. Her birthday wish for this year is to "become the girl Li Zi Wei likes." One day, Huang Yu Xuan receives a walkman and a music cassette from an unknown person. She falls asleep listening to its songs and wakes up to see Wang Quan Sheng sitting by her side. She believes she has finally been reunited with her boyfriend, but there's a very big twist. She learns that she is no longer a 27-year-old woman but a high schooler named Chen Yun Ru, who is in the hospital recuperating from a head injury.  And the man by her bedside is not her boyfriend after all, but a schoolmate named Li Zi Wei. Trapped in what appears to be the past, living another person's life, Chen Yun Ru's death in 1999 will be her death if she doesn't figure out how the girl landed in the hospital. All the while, Li Zi Wei finds himself strangely drawn to the girl who used to be Chen Yun Ru, despite the fact that he knows his closest friend Mo Jun Jie has had a crush on her... Can true love find a way to bridge a seemingly insurmountable time gap?

"The World Between Us" is a 10-part, hour-long series that follows the aftermath of a mass shooting where the fates of all parties involved - the killer, the victims, the victims' families, the media and the defence teams are intertwined.  

Nowhere Man follows the death row inmate Quan who learned of his son being kidnapped while waiting for the execution in jail. To save his son and protect his family, Quan schemes a jailbreak, only to find himself in an even more dangerous collision. From time to time, Quan falls into the state of half-sleep and he will lead the viewer onto the freeway of redemption. Chen Hao Yuan is an honor student with a mellow personality. His best friend Hong Cheng Yi, on the other hand, is a delinquent who did time in juvenile detention for bank robbery. Together they helped their classmate get off drugs, exposed their teacher's dirty secrets, and even tried to find the bees that have gone missing because of the upcoming 2012 apocalypse. "Island Nation" is the first political career drama, developed in the background of a large number of historical facts. The story uses six young men and women, with their own thoughts and ideals, deliberately or unintentionally involved in Taiwan’s political situation, but also at the top of the fight for power In the struggle, facing the choices and struggles of faith, life, and love, he used his own ideals and youth to travel through it, showing the audience through that bright and dark era and witnessing the development of Taiwan's mid-term democracy.

The drama tells a story after Fang Jia Ying broke up with her boyfriend. Although it is good to be brave on your own, she still longed for a companion. She met Ding Zhi Ming on a healing journey, a person who firmly believes that "everyone in this world is lonely." The two were, therefore, forced to re-examine their philosophy of life and redefine the concept of loneliness.  

The series features two women, a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner in Taipei and a Taiwanese-American programmer in San Francisco, who swap homes and then follow their respective cultural odysseys in each city.  

This drama continues the story of Yu Xi Gu and Xiao Hao Ting.
