Mae was one of my fav antagonists of the show. And she didn't even really mean to be an antagonist. Poor babe :')

The villain is not really defined, but this character is definitely queer in some way and that is intentional.

I haven't read the webtoon, so please correct me if I'm wrong, but it seemed that Oh Jin Seop's journal implied he might actually be a trans woman? This wasn't shown in the first season though so I'm not sure. Waiting on season 2 to find out more.
