➤ To pass the NRTA review, they made this modern fantasy drama a folktale.

➤ ML and FL have a beautiful chemistry. ML is full of emotion. FL is cute.

➤ SML and SFL are a cute couple

➤ The cinematography and the set are top-notch. It's like vacationing on a paradise island full of flowers.

➤ Ending: bittersweet. Bitter, cos they only have 7 days to live, and then they die (even though not shown in the drama). Sweet, because at least they grow old together. They got married in its simplest way (the couple's rings, the red costume). Before, he was immortal, waiting to see her to be reincarnated 500 years later. In the end, he becomes mortal as her, so they die together. Nobody lost or mourned the other person. As a bonus, SML and SFL end up together and SML becomes the head of the island.

➤ The start is thrilling and intriguing but turns out to be confusing. I didn't like that the leading actress Zhu Jia Qian whom I watched for, only showed up in half of the drama since she was changed to the second leading actress. Practically her character is dead.

➤ The ending is OE for S2. Perhaps because the research is actually successful but ML hid it for his personal gain? Why need S2? Both guys are already in jail (one is really in jail the second one is written he's going to jail to pass NRTA review). FL is dead and SFL is crazy (DID). Unless the third girl finds out that she can revive SFL in the tube or FL is actually not dead.

➤ Too bad it's not longer length cos everything is such a rush. But probably if the length is mainstream length, the drama won't pass censorship because of the human genome project, human trafficking, and DID.

The CEO of the production company is none other than ML. In the novel, ML takes the throne and never remarried. SML is no longer the Crown Prince and lives humbly and peacefully with SFL. TFL dies defending her mother (the Queen) and TML grieves over her death.

➤ The romance is steadfast from the beginning till the end

➤ The FL is a saint. Funny, pretty, and humble. And she doesn't change with her aspiration although she falls for ML.

 ➤ The ML although he's handsome and kind, he's a 2-dimensional character imo

➤ The second couple is more intriguing and challenging. The SML is a shady character, and three-dimensional. I wish their romance had more screentime.

➤ The third couple is a filler imo. I don't understand why she gets redeemed, so bitchy and lies about her pregnancy.

➤ ML's mom is despicable. Can't believe she too gets redeemed.

The beloved ones left behind (Mom and girlfriend); even strangers as seen in the 10th life (the homeless who saw the tribute for the detective, how strangers are affected by the detective's death) and the 11th Life (the office worker who killed himself jaywalking in Ep 1). The office worker affected Choi Yi Jae's life because he didn't get his dream job, and also Park Tae Woo's life as he started to find pleasure in killing people.

➤ Because Part 2 gives meaning of Part 1, I bumped up the rating of Part 1.

➤ The mission of this drama is suicide prevention.

➤ Great acting, makeup (Mom's from young to old), cinematography, CGI (Death's lair and other action scenes).

➤ The plot is complicated and confusing, and the time travel/parallel world is intriguing. It was fun to make theories and read others' theories in the comment section.

➤ The hairdressing and makeup arcs are boring, purely for building up FL's character to pass NRTA censorship (betterment of Chinese citizens).

➤ Strong FL despite hard circumstances. Superb acting of Liu Hao Cun despite it's her first debut in dramas.

➤ ML is a meanie in the beginning that turns watchers off. It's explained about his bad background later but if that flashback is introduced earlier, watchers would have more sympathy for him.

➤ The scene in which FL jumps into the water is deleted (after the school reunion and before ML and FL make a written agreement). But it's very crucial with the turnaround of their relationship from hate to cordial (NRTA censorship against time traveling by suicide)

➤ OSTs are to die for
